There is a mistake. The Cathedral you've shown is not the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral in Tsaritsyn (nowadays Volgograd), but the Naval cathedral of Saint Nicholas in Kronstadt (Saint Petersburg). The original Cathedral of Tsaritsyn was blown up in 1932, a copy of it is beeing constructed now.

I'm from Austria and since our country is quite small (btw. Fu*k Italy), you can easily drive to Tyrol and Cortina d'Ampezzo, even from Vienna, so I was able to take a look at the major battlefields from the Italy- Austro Campaign. The Trenches were pretty well preserved

BF1, is one of the few shooters I actually like, I more like aircraft sims and RPGs, but this game is, just amazing The soundtrack, the maps and the WW1 vehicles, weapons just make it so good
The charge mechanic is the reason why i love this game just imagine you see on your left and right ur teammates/tanks and airplanes speeding through the skies charging at 1 objective to capture
The location "monte Grappa" isn't actually Monte Grappa, is "passo Falzarego", north-east than the actual location. I suppose they played on the player's ignorance, but the place is still beautifully represented.
As a fan of the game, it's a surreal feeling being in any of these and realizing that not only what you played happened there, but also the actual war, actual pain, actual bullets, and you're standing at the last place people saw as they died
So amazing how they put in such effort to give fantastic details. Such a beautiful art. So dedicated. I have massive respect for Battlefield games. I know people are mad about BF 5 but still we have to acknowledge that they have really worked hard and not trying to just grab money. I mean it does feel like they make game with their whole heart and true dedication and tbh that's all that matters to me. I really respect their art.

I visited the trenches of Gallipoli once. Some trenches were right next to each other, I can't even imagine the stress of fighting in a place like that.

The fighting in the mountains was truly insane. They were scaling cliffs in full gear with nothing but a climbing axe while getting rocks and bullets thrown down sometimes

But that is not right place. There is never was a fight of WW1. In Nizhny Novgorod is located Gorkiy Zavod, which was important good protected place of Russia.
