- Ipoh Night market or Upton Ipoh is a huge night market with lots of different foods, clothing and gadgets. It's a place you shouldn't skip while in Ipoh so of course I went to check it out.
I bought some perfume, had lots of food and juices. I met lots of friendly people while being out there as well. If you're in the area I would 100% recommend you to visit this night market!

With my UA-cam videos I aim to show a different perspective than what most travel vloggers would do by interacting with people and really getting the local insights of the places I visit. No matter their social background I treat everyone equal. Sometimes this results in awkard conversations but I love it!

All donations will go back to the communities during my travels, this can be through staying or eating at small businesses or even donating this money right back through one of my donations projects.

That fried shrimp looks delicious, thank you very much for sharing! 👍🥰🙏
Malaysian tomyam is improvised and more tasty..
The asam boi is a preserved plum..indeed has salt and sugar in it.. really refreshing..
Btw, most Malaysians are friendly but introvert too.. most of them don't seem like to interfere with strangers or foreigners..but once you mixed around they're quite friendly and loud AF.. 😁✌️🇲🇾
great...everyone loves u cos u r a very nice person...warm n friendly personality...
Wow Tim.....the Tom yam really open my appetite n also the prawn fritters. One day will go to Ipoh n look for Gerai Pak Abu ...🤗😁🍜
I love how u let loose of yourself and try everything without hesitating, and enjoying every moment here while you're at it. Now all of sudden i find it charming and u looking cute too. 😊. 😅 sorry too honest maybe please do not cringe lol
Ipoh and penang are majority chinese. So when you're there you ask the local chinese for recommendation. Ipoh chicken rice is one of the best in whole of malaysia. And there're many many more. Just ask the local Chinese. I'm from the food capital of malaysia, penang, and i love ipoh's chinese food. When you're in Malaysia doing a little bit of research on each state you visit would help you a lot and make your travel much more enjoyable. Take care.

In Ipoh, you must try the Chinese white chicken rice + bean sprout. They are many many many good food in Ipoh. Happy eating.
I think the salty taste of the detox drink comes from the preserved plum which are the small round brownish dried plums, you can see floating.
