I’m Indian and can confirm hygiene has always been a huge problem here, there is no civic sense at all. You’ve to be selective of what you consume here, don’t just randomly consume from the first street food stall you come across, look around, i’m sure you’ll find a cleaner place to eat. It is what it is here.

While food poisoning can happen anywhere, it's definitely more common in places where sanitation is an issue or when trying street food. India has such a diverse food culture, and while it can be challenging, there are also plenty of safe options. Locals often know where to eat, so taking their advice can help minimize the risks. Hey I’ve got some really great news to share with you, Jesus Christ, the Son of God, died on a cross and resurrected on the third day so you may all have eternal life. If you believe and repent of your sins and put your faith and trust in Him as you would a parachute jumping off a plane at 25000 feet up in the air, He will give you eternal life in heaven as a free gift and I promise you, He will change your life forever as He did mine. He is the ONLY way to heaven and He loves you all. Please think deeply about this with urgency because this is your eternal life and soul, you don’t know when you could die, meaning you could die at any moment, so please consider this with all your heart. This is completely baseless; there are many well-adjusted, family-oriented people in the US, and plenty of depressed people in India. The latter have to hide their depression due to social stigma. I saw no 'deep peace' when I was there only totally stressed out chaos, filthy streets, aggressive people and terrible poverty. They send rockets to the moon spending millions to do this and yet care little that people literally die of hunger on the streets. I saw this with my own eyes in Calcutta near the main train station. Three days of convulsive pain and fever. I was desperate. The hygienic condition of India is so extreme you have no guarantee of being alive after a trip. I do not recommend this country to anyone, except for Kashmir and the south. The core of India should be avoided. It has its beauty but civilization there is several levels below normalcy.

Maybe its true what you say but its just a huge whataboutism that you pulled here. What does it have to do with poor hygiene and huge pollution? College educated people also can have poor hygiene btw. But just watch the videos on youtube especially about indian streetfood. Where i live 90% of these sellers would instantly get a police report and the health department would close them all down.
And please dont get me wrong, i dont hate india, indians or their country in general. But i want to show you a huge countrywide problem. And yeah, western companies produce in india their products and dont really give a fu*k about the enviroment. Especially big pharma. But you guys also have to do something about it. I want that you open your eyes for this problem. This is the exact problem with indians. They dont open their eyes for this problem and just ignore it, which is the cause for not getting better.
Pls dont get mad and feel attacked, i just stated facts and the beautiful thing about this is that you as a person can change that. All indians say their country is so great. So pls do everything to make it great, cause bad hygiene and pollution arent one of the things that help.

The trick is to only eat from well known stalls and family restaurants where the food is hot and being made continuously without letting it sit for long..India has a very big economic disparity so most of the working class men eat from the local stalls and are used to handling the food and it’s ways which is not the same for just foreigners but also other Indians not used to the same..Hence the ‘family restaurant and stalls’ part where food is usually a little more expensive and hygienic confirmed by food inspection standards(I would t even call it expensive according to American restaurant charges and the conversion rate) but compared to the former. Also you’ll notice the more south u go,the cleaner it gets you’ll see yourself if u ever do visit..But north or south,it’s chaotic all the same and the peace within the chaos is something special to India..hope u do get to see the place and experience it yourself..and come out with your gut intact with visiting the right places! Lol

@@WhenWhere-h2c Do not make broad statements like this. It's more harmful than you realize. Every place has bad people and dangerous spots. And in a country like India where the law is extremely slow to act, it's a little worse than most other countries of this size.
Will you be fine? Probably. But definitely not 100%, I'd say between 70 and 85; Anything above that is just wishful thinking.

@@HostileAtHeart breh india was objectively the worst country I've visited so far... and I traveled to many poor countryside of countries in south east asia like vietnam, cambodia, myanmar, malaysia, and indonesia. What I learned from there is that even if you're poor being dirty is a choice and indians for some reason seemed to not mind being dirty in general. I hope this changes in due time.

Your experience here is EXACTLY what I think so many people expect if they were to go to India. BTW, anyone tell you that you look like the actor Edgar Ramirez?

So no, only 1 person in 1000 decide to go to the west, that too for education only. because healthcare is still better in india.

I'm not willing to go outside my nation if I can earn all those via my job in tech from India. USA has done a lot better for everyone who wanted to earn money politely. But we need to know how USA used the WWII and equited gold with dollar... unless China, India and Russia along with other supporting nations on de-dollarization will support uptil then the USA has to entertain immigrants for work, since the whole wold gave US the authority to regulate world currency. USA in terms of everything, exceeds India by miles but Indians have to work unitedly and fastly to cope with new manufacturing needs required by potential manufacturers in India.
That's a reason I respect USA's stand on capitalism but it's extreme and corruption is crippling down the giant power once it was back then. USA requires India and so do we require manufacturers to build their product in India ;)
