My girls rav 4 was running perfectly then just dropped a cylinder. Hope it's a spark plug and not a fuel problem. Thanks for the tutorial in the removal. Fingers crossed.
Hello, thank you very much for the training. What *Spark Plug Socket* do I need to have please for this Toyota Rav4 2010? ( I found 2 in the store so I don't know what is the one to use)
Hey ! I’m a novice diyer when it comes to car mechanics and one thing I’ve learned is that the torque specs are very common in car Maintenance and the times you’ll need one always occur. So my advice would be to invest in one or all 3 wrench sizes. They come in 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2 with 1/4, 3/8, being more common
Never on the threads! Small amount of antisieze on the threads and die electric grease on contacts where it touches the top electrode of the spark plug.
I saw that you put new coils in, too...should I do both the sparks and coils at the same time then? I did this myself years ago on my Jeep and had to replace the wires at the same time that I did my sparks - that doesn't look to be something that I need to do on my RAV then? Thx!
Do you which side is the #4 cylinder? I’m getting a code that the #4 cylinder is misfiring. I’ll go ahead and change all the plugs, but just curious which is which
Its the part where I dont want to buy tools and connectors to have and keep for just such an occasion which is what makes me not want to do it myself…I need a neighbor with a well stocked garage 😅

Thanks for your video, it really help me to fix my vehicle. Wishing you a whole lot of blessings, and success.
3:34 ... 18ft lbs! Is that newer models? I read it should be 11-15 depending on year. How do I know the torque? I have 2010 ra4 4cyl.
Out of curiosity how important is it to torque the plug correctly and what could result if not? thanks

Is it necessary to torque them after you put them in or can you just tighten them?
Would you recommend dielectric grease on the plug's threads? Some say yes, some say no. NGK says no. I am unsure at this point.
You mean On the white part ??? If so it is yes , it keep the moister out of the electric

You are not smarter than NGK. Follow their recommendation.

Used ngk plugs with delphi coils. Why not use the ngk coils? Are the delphi better coils?
WHAT SIZE SOCKET? 16mm for the 2009?
What's the torque pound for the spark plugs
How about a video explaining spark plug replacement on the Rav4 with 3.5l V6?

Do you need to put anti seize on the threads???
None for the RAV4 V6?

you dont vacuum the area first
Don't buy their parts. They are cheap crap, axels didn't even last 6 thousand miles literally.
