I remade this beat last year. It wasn’t that difficult but I have to be honest.. to find the sample the way the original beat maker did, you have to sit through a large portion of the song. I heard it immediately when it came on. Then you have to pitch it up a lot. I forget how many semitones it was. Same goes for the saxophone samples.
Every time I hear this song, I remember watching the Souls of Mischief perform it in Downtown LA around 2001 and a fight breaking out during the song. Everyone in the crowd, except me, got scared and left the dancefloor. I threw up 2 ✌️ signs and stayed on the dancefloor vibing. Souls kept performing 93 til, they saw me standing alone in the center of the dancefloor, throwing up peace signs and head bobbing while 2 dudes was fighting next to me. The beat kept going, Souls stopped rapping at the same time. They all threw up peace signs with one hand while holding mics in the other... Then they started saying something like, "We ain't here for that. We here in peace." They kept repeating that message while throwing up peace signs, and the crowd came back to the dancefloor, stopped the fight, and the party kept going like nothing ever happened! I ALWAYS remember that memory when I hear this song.

yes, its an entire chunk of "Heather" sped up, barely even chopped. the pitched sax comes from the higher speed. not a huge mystery

サンプリングで音を売り出す場合、サイト名はわからないのですが、ネタを買うネタ屋さんみたいなサイトがあるらしいです。
大量の古い音源があるらしく、1秒いくらとか？で買えるらしいです。
そこで買ったネタはそれを使って自分の楽曲として売っても大丈夫だって話ですが、自分はやったことないです。ひょっとすると今は英語サイトのみかもしれません。
将来いつかのために、自分にも買い方を教えてほしいですね笑

Jazzなどの生楽器バンドの音源は手打ちなのでどうしても0コンマ何秒かリズムがズレていまいますので、チョップして無理矢理はめ込んでいるパターンが多いです^ ^
