Thank you David for doing this channel. Can i ask ppl here who got you to realise the no self. For me it was Eckhart Tolle and a meditation he explained to do in his book The Power Of Now.
@@zzgeneralsearch1070 No bother 🙂 Eckhart was one of the first speakers/authors I came across, I got a lot out of "awakening to reality" website. I've found nothing else which goes into such in depth descriptions of this 🙂
@@difficult_to_describe thank you for the reply. I'm hoping we build a little community on here because I've been very alone in my journey into non duality.
Thanks for the video. I get the sense that it’s like looking into the night sky and seeing The vast mystery without the “safety “ of overlaying it with A false map of Constellations 🌌
@@MaryaJohn-x5n Sounds like a good description. With the vastness, there is also the feeling of closeness with the stars being "here" or "inside" as well as being infinitely distant and "out there". I heard Angelo talk about this, going into the physics behind it, how photons don't exist in time or space, which lines up with my experience closely :)
Something just popped into my head, basically me trying to imagine how it must feel once this lands.. This is something that you don't have to support by remembering the initial insight that "I'm not 'really' this" or whatever the insight is, correct? So that if you don't stop actively referencing that in thought and say, be the character, among others, for weeks and months on end, with emotional engagement etc. - this will still be self-evident and not like some old thought that one needs to recall, pick up from the old reservoir of insights and re-impersonate, correct?
I'm not getting the train of thought here. Please don't think I'm needing the ' there is no you" bit (with respect lol). I do get the no you part. What hasn't happened here is the merging with the reality when my eyes are open.
@@zzgeneralsearch1070 Yeah, it's a different kind of thought that makes the world look separate. I would say, true no self realisation is when the Nondual nature of the senses are clear and there is no longer a real position or point of view left within reality, but it's a very difficult thing to describe. Check out the videos I did pointing to it and see if you can feel into it 🙂
Thank you David. ❤
