@@TheAundreaNichole So easy to just concentrate on that top tank. "Oooh all filled to the brim. Close hood. We be good..." If one doesn't look a little deeper into the engine compartment - the mostly empty larger bottom tank is ignored. Not something they mention to the average customer at the dealership, although Chevy does cover it in the Owners Manual. But I would not have checked out the bottom tank (or turned to relevant pages of manual) *without* Justin's vid!👩‍🔧

@@Alex8dirty14 My coolant fan stays even after turning off the car as well. I noticed my bottom coolant reservoir was a little low. I haven’t filled it up yet. But after reading some forums, the cooling fan staying on happens when the thermostat goes bad which is covered by the powertrain warranty. So I’ll take it to the dealership if it doesn’t fix itself after refilling

But the thing is I didn’t drive it i had it sitting till i had my appt to the dealership
And as soon as i got to the dealership the car went back to normal😂 so i say first drive it for a bit once u add the coolant to see if it fixes on its own
I still took it in and they said it was something with the thermostat sensor so im waiting on that part to arrive to the dealership but ive been driving it for about 4 days nd its been good
They will charge u about $600 if it is the sensor so hopefully u have warranty to cover it

That was my problem originally, started doing it last week. Thought it was my temperature sensor going out and didn’t really think it needed immediate attention as it would come back on intermittently and temp was normal when it did. Looked under the hood today when my check engine light came on and checked my coolant levels and they are seriously LOW, virtually empty. I was stunned. I thought some kind of warning light would come on to warn me that my coolant levels were low but nope. Need to get some coolant ASAP tomorrow and I’m not driving it until then.
