@@TheAundreaNichole So easy to just concentrate on that top tank. "Oooh all filled to the brim. Close hood. We be good..." If one doesn't look a little deeper into the engine compartment - the mostly empty larger bottom tank is ignored. Not something they mention to the average customer at the dealership, although Chevy does cover it in the Owners Manual. Justin, thank you so much bro! You helped me tremendously, I did exactly what you said and I was up and rolling with A/C blowing snow! Thanks again bro
This was definitely helpful my spouse was worried about there car making some kind of noise. We checked seen no coolant in reservoir at ALL kind of weird 😕 but no leaks. Will add to see what happens. Thanks 👍
What kind of noise was it making.? Mine is making a weird noise every 2-3 minutes and my reservoir is pretty low right now so I’m curious If that’s what it is.
Got a gut feeling to check mine yesterday, I’ve driven close to 1k miles the past week and appears both were empty, I have no idea how it didn’t overheat 😬
I know this is for the '16-'20 Camaro. I have a 2010 & the coolant tank is totally different. My problem is I've gone through two tanks now that have both cracked. The one I only had about a month or less. Any idea what could cause this? Coolant is in the normal range so I'm perplexed! Thank you for any help from anyone!
And then there’s my car. I’ve probably pulled several syringes of coolant out of the top tank because it’s beyond full every time I go out. I come back, it’s gained more fluid and maxed out again. I don’t get it.
Please question: Dex-cool with the number (GM 12346290) isn’t for chevy Volt?? I think the compatible Dex-cool for your car is: GM 12378390. Make your search.
My car started leaking some coolent today so I need to get it checked it just started and only a drop or two when I turn it off smh wish me luck hope y’all have cheap quick fixes as well shouldn’t be a big deal
Hey I have a question I did it the exact same way and driving all good but I check now that in driving for about 15m and I see the first one got really full but I did both to their exact measurements would I have to take out or it’s ok ? It looks just like yours all the way up now that it’s hot all the way
Let the car cool down then check the levels again. If it’s a little over the line in the bottom tank that will be okay. The top tank should be completely full.
@@JustinFrascona it’s just like that thank you so much. You should keep making more content like this a lot of people didn’t know about the one in the bottom including myself I thought it would just go down on its own.

I believe it will be your thermostat sensor tho So if u have warranty definitely take it in but if u dont dont even bother and do it urself the part wont cost u close to what they charge u nd thats not including labor
hey do you twist the cap until you cant turn it anymore? because the caution sign on the cap ends up pointing towards my intake manifold and not towards my cabin.
The OEM GM coolant starts off orange but after running in the engine may start to appear pink. As long as the coolant is DEXCOOl GM Approved there should be no issues.
That was my problem originally, started doing it last week. Thought it was my temperature sensor going out and didn’t really think it needed immediate attention as it would come back on intermittently and temp was normal when it did. Looked under the hood today when my check engine light came on and checked my coolant levels and they are seriously LOW, virtually empty. I was stunned. I thought some kind of warning light would come on to warn me that my coolant levels were low but nope. Need to get some coolant ASAP tomorrow and I’m not driving it until then.
