As a Venezuelan, this enrages me. You had a chance outside our sh@ hole of a country, and this is what you do??
Thing is, when you let *everyone* in, you let in all the stuff the decent people are running from. They are literally defeating the altruistic angle of immigration by letting it be this sloppy and unchecked.
I feel so bad for how terrible it is for you guys there - I can only hope good will come your way sooner rather than later - especially with access to basic necessities like groceries and sanitary needs
Yup he had a chance to make a difference; screw that up, got deported and the us government let him back in and went downhill from there
I can back this as a Cuban American. It disappoints me immensely how Cuban immigrants come to this country and taint our names with the crimes and atrocities they commit when arriving. Such lack of education and decency and it makes the rest of us look ghetto and uneducated.
We're about to become just like Venezuela
It's stupid the way they try to avoid saying he's residing in the country illegally by saying he's "not a US citizen." That's so insulting to non-citizens residing in the country legally.
Right?
@@jenniferj5324 And now the talking point handed out to the mayor of Athens and other Democratic officials is about how data shows that "immigration" and crime are not related, again conflating immigrants entering and residing in the country legally with those doing so illegally.
@yjk5737 how ridiculous.
And it continues.
People who come to the United States that wish to live here, but maintain their citizenship to original country are welcome to attain a visa, and live here legally without citizenship.
People who intend to become a US citizen are welcome to apply for and in their interest become American citizens.
That's the law as it applies to living in this country, it's not hard to understand that those are the laws.
Part of the purpose of those laws is to protect people - ALL people regardless of origin - from the possibility of people like the suspect doing them harm, or worse.
There's also the premise that non-visa, non citizen are somehow entitled to government aid, and so on.
Why, why would they be entitled - they're not citizens of this country, and haven't dedicated themselves by becoming citizens to the protection and benefit of this country -
They need try that elsewhere
@@Motor-City-Mikethere’s different levels of non-citizens and many of them do deserve protections. My boyfriend is from India here on a visa, he applied for his green card in 2012 and is still waiting because of the backlog and restrictions. He’s in the meantime a diagnostic radiologist at a trauma center, helping save lives and paying taxes and behaving as a citizen in every facet by benefiting this society. He is not a citizen but he deserves protection in this country in my opinion. There’s many people like this.
As a legal immigrant who has spent the effort and money to become a citizen, im disgusted.
Thank you for doing things the proper legal way!! I'm sure it was a very lengthy & bitter process! BUT like I've always said,
"Nothing good in life comes easily! Anything worth a damn is worth fighting for, when done the right way!!"
@emilywood3288 Definitely. I'm an engineer looking to get in legally. I have one bio sibling in the coutry, but gonna take my chances to get in through legal means, no matter how much or how long it might take.
I know I'm only British, but this "Sanctuary State" idea seems to be the definition of suicidal insanity...
@fritzidachl how is your country doing?
@@ricardoarteagar.8750 😂😂😂
You are certainly not wrong in my opinion. When virtue signaling is more important than actual human lives this is what happens. and while there will always be an argument for those whom are really looking for a better life, that is why you come LEGALLY. No matter the wait or time it takes. Insane to me where we are in today's social climate. Not just the U.S. but all across the Western World and beyond. I for one have had enough of the lies and deception. The powerful playing with ALL Our lives is truly beyond disgusting and WRONG.
Like London.
It’s like Germany opening their borders to Syria. Then women getting killed and raped. Same thing. Open borders sound good on paper and empathetic. In reality, people need to be vetted. No one will care until the worst of the wise happens and not even then. Barely anyone is reporting this crime.
If closing the border saves just one American life, isn't it worth it?
Are we going to act as if people born in America don’t murder?
building a wall or closing the border won't solve a damn thing. And for the record, I happen to be an immigrant, is against illegal immigration. Instead of building a wall how about attacking the real cause of illegal immigration everywhere (and not just in the US)...I'm talking about ending the war on drugs and terror
Yes. 100% hands down yes. And if we can't close them then we need to be allowed to exercise our rights to protect and maintain our own safety.
Same rules apply. But Our lives, our American lives trump theirs.
Yes!! 10000% YES!!
I am a Venezuelan living in Venezuela and I am so sorry and very embarrassed by the actions of this individual and my hart goes out to her family. I pray that he gets the maximum sentence. So sorry, close the borders now!
Thanks for your empathy. The borders must be closed, NOW.
Sentencia máxima? Sería mejor que regrese a vivir con Maduro.
@@GR-le1mshe murdered an innocent woman - he deserves the maximum sentence!!!
Thank you. We are letting in the wrong people, the good people that apply just sit on a line and its so unfair.
Wish you the best in Venezuela, hope things get better for you guys too.
@@GR-le1msno he gets the maximum sentence and if you ever gets out of prison he'll get deported then
That poor girl was my age and this scares me beyond belief. Sending prayers to her family
There's absolutely nothing wrong with being scared.
I'd call you a weirdo if you said it didn't.
Fear is a good motivator. It will make you go beyond your own expectations.
You'll be amazed at how quickly practice can turn fear into anger.
Find your way of defending yourself; ask others for advice.
Take control. Get mad. Then get even.
@@master-oppressor If you want to get even, you are no different from evil people. Evil people will pay for their crimes. It is just a matter of time. I hope you are having a great week, and thank you for sharing. Peace be with you.
@HPTFan No. According to your logic prisons wouldn't exist.
Wtf is wrong with you?!?
@@master-oppressor Why are you getting mad? You don’t know me. I don’t know you. If you want to have a conversation, let’s do it respectfully.
@@HPTFan No, princess. People like you are evil.
Go. You're not welcome here.
Heartbreaking for her and her family. So many criminals are crossing our very open borders. This shouldn't be happening.
This is happening all over Europe for the same reason. Most recent 3 women offed in Vienna, Austria by an Afghan. 😏
what the about the criminals born in this country? You act like they are the ones comitting most of the crimes
It's an opinion nothing more. Not meant for offense or anything. There are many issues in this country and abroad and I'm not making one seem lesser than than any other. This poor girl was murked. Her family lost her and her future potential is gone because of one bad human. The fact that he didn't belong here is an issue. Had he not been here she might not have passed. The next problem will become the tax payer dollars that go to house him in prison. There's a ripple effect.
Criminals are criminals no matter where they come from. I hope that's something we can all agree on.
And I'll also go so far as to say that if the border issues weren't an issue he very likely wouldn't have been given the opportunity to come here and commit a crime. Sad to say he would've committed crimes in his country of origin. Doesn't make it better. It's just part of this nation is the premise that we are given the right to safety. And thats not happening right now.
@@gloriathomas3245sorry but you're really not very smart
"Innocent until proven guilty" is important for the murder charges, but our government was fully aware of him illegally entering the country - there's no presumption of innocence there. They knew he was illegal but let him wander around anyways.
💯
And they let him go several times. Once for sexual abuse to a child.
Notice how Van Jones is quiet the entire time Ann Coulter is speaking during her prediction. He knows.
If you watch the rest of the clip you can literally see the wheels turning behind his eyes trying to figure out how to argue her point. In my opinion anyway. He is a perfect example of what is wrong with some people in society. Absolutely despicable and DISGUSTING behavior.
He knows what the game is the MSM plays with the way stories are framed, lying by omission.
You mean besides his smile.
This one hit close to home. I’m from GA and have two sisters who are nurses. I can’t imagine losing one of them when they were in college to an illegal immigrant who was previously arrested. I cannot imagine what her family is going through. I am furious the this current administration has done NOTHING to prevent dangerous illegal immigrants from endangering tax paying US citizens. Absolutely disgusting.
Vote them out.
I'm originally from GA (Dallas, not far). I still have family there, and my mom went down to stay with my aunt for winter. This shit terrifies me for them.
That poor young woman and her loved ones. :( Thank you for your tactful and compassionate commentary. I fear this is only going to escalate. Hopefully, people will wake up before more innocent people are lost.
Another case, In 2018 Mollie Tibbetts was 20 years old when she got abducted and killed by a man who came here illegally from Mexico as teenagers
We need a border 100%
Yes!! I feel like many have forgotten this murder. So sad and so infuriating
“He is mad who trusts in the tameness of a wolf.”
I usually don’t get angry about political issues, but this one just boils my blood.
Wait until you find out it happens all over the collective western countries as if flooding majority white countries with third world uneducated migrants would lead to any other outcome.
its not a unique story
@@scratthesquirrel5242 sadly you’re not wrong. This one just hit me different for some reason.
Every story involving illegal immigrant crimes must be told. This is just one of the few that we know about.
I imagine that her parents are feeling all of our rage put together....
UGA student here. They just made an announcement about improving safety measures. Sad that this had to happen in order for them to do it.
Protect yourself and each other. Safety in numbers.
I am a Venezuelan legal immigrant living in the U.S! This is embarrassing, disturbing and sad. I am so so sorry for her family and friends 💔How disgusting. CLOSE THE BORDER.
I am very mad, upset, irritated, angry and disappointed in my Country, America. We have turned our back on the Citizens in America, and are accepted the ILLEGAL Immigrants, instead of us, the CITIZENS! What happened to this girl is blood on the hands on our lawmakers. We need to send these immigrant home, and follow the laws… My prayers and thoughts gods out to the family to this young lady!
This isn't our country, this is their country, apparently. Thanks, Joe!
Funny that when it comes to leftist crap, like the mayor in Dalton, it's "they voted for it hehe, fukkem!" but when it's something national, suddenly your votes have never caused any problems.... 🤔
Couldn’t agree more. Even though I’m not US citizen yet but I’m 100% legal immigrant. because I love and respect the country so much that’s why I am legal. I respect the rule and law of US. I don’t understand the government. Why they use US citizen tax money that suppose to improve fellow US citizen, to support illegal😔
My condolence to the family. We just lost another bright and young light of the country.
We are not our government. We have the constitutional rights that have drawn good people from around the globe who deserved to live life with decency and purpose. Our FALSE government is doing this, against our will. It's OUR country, our rights, our lives, being shit on. Doing these deliberately destructive actions, with our hard earned tax dollars.. these choices do NOT REPRESENT THE USA
@@fatetastarossa❣️ much love & respect to you for doing things the legal & right way!! Like I always say,
" Nothing in life comes easy! You have to fight for the good things, it's hard & the battles are long, but anything worth a damn in life is always gained by a good fight; because it's won by doing things right!"
If things were just soooo easy in life we'd be in a society that we wouldn't want ❤ God bless & keep up the good fight
Undocumented migrant is in its own way trying to reframe it. Dont use that either. Illegal immigrant is the correct term.
ILLEGAL ALIEN... using the word ''migrant'' does not help neither! if were boomers we just say ''snowback'''
Absolutely! Words have power and the Left certainly uses them to their advantage.
Not only that, but he WAS documented. They knew he was there, they tried to put him in containment but let him go. So anyone calling it undocumented is going out of their way to be dishonest lol
Agreed 💯!! I'm only 34; and as far back as I can remember; we used the term illegal aliens! & I believe that term was still used when Obama was in office, it's NUTS how just in the last few years things have gone completely upside down! It's all about feelings not facts, & it's all about everyone else first & we are dirt last. & How dare anyone question it or speak real truth & reality! 🙄🤦 The evil few, brainwashing & controlling the masses 😢 time to start screaming louder & banning together. Because I guarantee the major majority agrees & we've all just been so conditioned to stay quiet & obey 😢
My mom, also in Georgia, had an attempted purse snatching from an illegal immigrant (the man didn't know who he was messing with). The man has been arrested in two other counties, released, and my mom was told that as of now, there will be no charges.
Illegal Alien
That is crazy!
This is beyond heartbreaking.
Part of the horror of the AP story is they dare invoke the name of Mollie Tibbetts, identifying her as another female runner who was murdered while on a solo run - _without also disclosing she was attacked by an individual who entered this country illegally from Mexico_ - and that kind of audacity is nauseating.
Your tasteful coverage is to be applauded. Im a canuck who wishes mainstream had your conviction, common sense and composure. As always, thank you.
Well said Ámala. Prayers for her family and prayers for the future victims and families. Unfortunately this is only the beginning. Vote wisely people.
If a person breaks the FIRST law of the land - that is entering that land in an ILLEGAL manner - what makes anyone think that person will obey all, or even any, of the other laws of that land????? Why is this question not asked or addressed????? The USA has an immigration law that has worked for many years…just ENFORCE THE LAW! If it needs to be improved, then do it in the way all laws are changed…through due process.
Agreed.
They need to show the photo's of the perpetrators along side with the photos and names of all the politicians who have enabled this.
I hope the family of Laken Sue's the State of New York for failing to prosecute and incarcerate this man instead of giving him a bus ticket to become another states problem.
Thank you for sharing this story. Everyone who has a platform with many viewers should be doing the same because too many Americans don't want to believe these crimes are happening. And people need to know!
I agree with every word you just said...people need to wake up. What's happening to this country right now is literally scary!
May this beautiful young woman rest in peace as well as many others who may have lost their lives in similar ways. God bless her family. I don’t live in the USA but I really hope these citizens get justice. This is NOT okay. What ever happened to humanity.
My heart and my sincerest condolences go out to Laken's family and friends. I completely understand how they feel. Back in Jan 2021, my 79 yr old Aunt was tortured and murdered in her home of 50 yrs. A 19 yr old illegal alien with multiple abuse charges had been released to await a precious trial. While out on bail, he broke into my Aunts house while she was sleeping. It has been 3 yrs since my Aunts death, and we're still waiting for something to happen. The trial has been pushed multiple times due to this person who is illegally in California, claiming mental health issues.
The system is so broken and seems to prefer protecting illegal aliens in the country over their own citizens it's heartbreaking and so wrong.
All this chaos was sooooo totally worth getting rid of those awfully mean tweets.
I know! People are so stupid.
I found the tweets entertaining.
If the media treated him fairly, he would not have needed to tweet so much.
my family in Venezuela struggle for this kind of opportunity - and this is how it is wasted? senseless tragedy. 22 years is just too young… this is sad.
Absolutely correct commentary. from a S.Texas native
Condolences to the family and friends. The best part is Venezuela and China said they are not taking anyone back
Why should they have a choice?
It's nice to know that reasonable, level-headed, people do exist in this country. I was beginning to think that there weren't any until I started watching your videos. You're always, almost always, spot on with issues affecting this country. You're very sharp. Keep up the good fight.
Very well reported and so true. Sad.
So incredibly heartbreaking. Thank you for reporting on this.
So happy you are covering this Amala! I live right next door to her family and it’s such a horrible tragedy 😭
Very well put. I appreciate an independent perspective
Your factual coverage is refreshing.
Thank you Amala! I really enjoy your compassionate yet straightforward journalism. Keep it coming 💜
Very impressed with your content and delivery. I was just trying to get the story about what happened to Laken Riley as I do not watch “the news”. Very professional and informative- well done and thank you.
How horrific for her family. Sending love and many prayers to them. Rest easy sweet girl. You have our hearts💜💜
All I have to say is that this was a conversation that my family talks about.
It's not fair.
Simply put!
Thank you for all your hard work ❤
Wow. Hadn't even heard this news. Thanks for covering this story. Condolences to her loved ones.
What can be done to improve the legal immigration process, so law abiding residents can be allowed register, work, and live here; while holding violent offenders (regardless of immigration/citizenship status) accountable?
Thanks for doing this show
May God bless her soul and bring comfort to her family and friends.
Thank you for covering this story . I never even heard the name laken Riley before your show.
Lots of love, light and prayers for family and friends ❤❤❤
Not only was Laken killed, countless others will probably die because of her death. Laken was a nursing student. Who knows where her career would have taken her? A floor nurse in a children’s hospital? An emergency room nurse? Further to become a physician’s assistant? A nurse in a long term care facility? Red Cross nurse? A medical professional who teaches others to save lives? Maybe ‘Doctors without Borders?
Everyone’s death has an impact on all of us. Laken’s was much too soon and it was avoidable.
I’m Venezuelan too, and you’re Right. In everything that you said… this broken my heart, because I come from a poor and humble family that I seek to make a step to improve my life and the lives of those I love… but all these people... who come from the same country where I come from. It fills me with sadness… They do not have the right to decide who lives or not. I hope that they fulfill their sentence and that God h the full weight of divine power falls on them….
Devastating 💔 and VERY PREVENTABLE.
Amala is great she tells the whole truth thank you Amala
Thank you for being you ! 😎
Im a college student who was planning on transferring to uga because I thought it would've been safer than a school in Atlanta. I had just finished my application the day before she passed after visiting the campus a week earlier. I know you have to be aware at all times, but this just breaks my heart.
Well said Amala 👏👏👏👏
Illegal immigrant: commits multiple crimes
Authorities: Oh no, anyway...
Same illegal immigrant: later kills someone
Authorities: How could that happen?
Beautifully put Amala!!!
I one hundred 💯 percent agree with you.
You got a new sub! Clear, smart and saying it how it is
So sad. Condolences 😔
Condolences for the family
You are actually one of the best journalists thank you so much❤❤❤ I myself have been victimized not about me about her and maybe her gives her family comfort that there is angels like you❤❤ much love keep up the hard work hard work❤❤
I live near where shes from and the whole community hurts for her. I had a mentor struggle through a safety talk for young women yesterday, she spoke to us about how you can do so many things right and there will still be bad people. As a young women about to go to college, i fear being away from home, and my dad, who has always protected me. And i will do everything in my power to protect myself and those that i love from this. But its not always enough. We juat have to love and support regardless. Do your best. Its all you got
It’s absolutely crazy that someone with a profession like being a doctor could be kicked out of this country for a speeding ticket but an illegal immigrant can murder someone or endanger a child and they still don’t plan to kick them out
And georgia blames her for jogging. It is her right!!! It was her right!!!
As a German woman I can say: yes. This will be happening more and more
As a French woman, I agree. It happens way too often here already.
Oh my goodness, we're the same age😦 We are leaving ourselves far too open for an attack. This honestly scares me because I love to go out and walk 😣 seems like we're living the Trojan horse story, but with the fact that we know we are being invaded.
Grief…
Sadness…
🙏🙏🙏
There's a fine line between virtue & stupidity.
Leave your doors open and you'll soon realize it's not just the needy who'll enter.
This is absolutely heartbreaking.
Same here in the UK. There are cases, even when the alleged culprit is on the run, even when there are eye witnesses when they apparently have no distinguishing features which might help the public identify them. It takes days or longer before the police and MSM grudgingly identify who they are looking for.
I've lived most of my life in El Paso, I work in a very ghetto part of the town where the majority of my customers don't speak english, and I have noticed an increase in customers from central and south America. These are people that I see quite a bit so between that and being the grandchild of immigrants I'm very close to the issue.
There are many immigrants that are super hard working, law abiding, grateful, and god fearing people. There are people providing to the community and doing what they can to eventually become citizens. Then there are those who are willing abusing these systems, taking advantage of people's kindness, and actively stealing from the community.
This is an extremely complex issue, a human issue that affects not only legal and illegal migrants, but also American citizens and entire communities. Do I believe that we need an immediate shut down of the border? I'm not sure. However, these people need to be held to a higher standard of the law if they are here illegally. Perhaps we need to dedicate more funding to dentention centers to allow for more deportation. I'm not entirely convinced he shouldn't have been in this country to begin with, but he absolutely should have been deported with his first arrest. That young woman's blood isn't only on his hands.
Well said. 👏🏻
Love your commentary 👏🏼. So true 💯. Mainstream media is wrong
I agree with you completely on this one. Makes me sad and angry.
I appreciate you for covering this epidemic. It's truly disheartining. America, along with every other country, needs to focus on their own people before we can entertain the world in peace as a whole. My heart cries for this young woman and all effected by this wrongdoing. Sadly, you are right in these crimes are preventable, indeed. Prayers of strength and prosperity for all who's lives are altered forever. ❤
Her death is such a tragedy and avoidable, like you said. 💔
You are absolutely correct! This didn't fit their narrative. It It sickening!
Sorry, as a Texas resident, I used to be horrified at the idea of a border wall. But at this point, I'm willing to help build it myself. This situation has gotten massively out-of-hand.
Dear Amala, thank you for covering this. This is a real issue. I believe each member who voted to make Atlanta a sanctuary city needs to be held accountable. They assisted in this murder. They need to be locked up immediately. You have my personal feelings. God's Blessings, Irish
You are right on point.
Not only is this an immigration issue, but also a nys bail reform issue. My state is allowing violent criminals to be released without bail the day they are arrested. A man (in this case, a native citizen) recently attacked and strangled a woman in my community. Luckily, a witness intervened. He was seen committing the crime and arrested almost immediately, yet has been released back into the community. This is not a fluke. I am beyond infuriated by how my state is putting the freedoms of criminals above the lives of taxpaying citizens. Upstate ny is being held hostage to these failed policies by NYC voters.
Great video Amala
Now is more important than ever to remember the buddy system and our right to bear arms.
TRUTH 💯 QUEEN AMALA 🙏🏽🫶🏼
Get Biden out now. The United States will not survive another four years.
If the country can't survive one or two terms of a bad president, then perhaps the country doesn't need to survive.
Meanwhile my conservative 72y old aunt, that has a salary, a house, a family, a life and doesn’t want to live in the US, was denied a visa to go to Disney. Her, her great grand daughter (5y old) and her daughter in law. They didn’t give a motive btw. It’s ridiculous. The other members of the family were authorized, including the 6 y old sister of the little girl. What I understood is that murder and bad people are happily accepted, and people that want to spend their money and moviment your economy are not being accepted. Great country (insert irony)!
Absolutely infuriating.
wonder why CNN not covering it
I live in a dorm right next to where there this tragic murder happened. I am scared to even leave my room without someone else. It is tragic this whole event was avoidable.
My husband is from Venezuela and he is embarrassed and ashamed and heartbroken that this happened it’s just sad. This happens to this young woman in this country, too often by men. Just like that college student that killed three women and two men in their dorm. It’s frightening. Or like that American kid that went to Bermuda and killed and raped a young lady. It’s sad and needs to stop.
The exact same thing is happening in Ireland, I don't recognise my own country anymore, what are world leaders up to?
Wasn’t fairly recently. There was a case where an illegal immigrant stabbed someone to get sent back to their home country.
I think, we all need to protest. Mine is now flying as a flag, at half mast, with Laken's full name on it. I am so sick about what happened to her.
How can you say that these illegal immigrants “didn’t come here to break laws” when they broke the law to get in this country?
Illegal Aliens
UGA is about 45 minutes from me, I attended UGA myself, and for the last few weeks (and for the next few) my teenage daughter has to be on UGA’s campus weekly for a school related thing. My husband and I decided that she’s too new of a driver to navigate Athens, being a college town, safely, so we’ve been taking her. Thank God for that. I know that ppl die, and it happens all around us, but it’s weird to know a young woman was murdered on the campus I know so well. My heart goes out to Laken’s loved ones, I can’t even imagine how they must be feeling right now.
On the UGA campus. Actually on the campus.
