I made this last night. I made a single half gallon jar and six pint jars. There was a little bit leftover so I helped myself and poured it over ice. And holy cow did I get all somehow. It is some potent and delicious stuff :-)
This is a cocktail and sounds tasty . I ran the numbers on the everclear and the juice and peaches and it is diluted to about 25 proof. Just about right for a mixed drink (cocktail).
I'm so glad you enjoyed it! I do have an ebook with 15 flavored moonshine recipes plus 35 cocktails you can make with the flavored moonshine. You can check it out here: www.itisakeeper.com/how-to-make-flavored-moonshine/
New subscriber here. I’m making this recipe today. Incredible aroma in my house right now. Hoping I I have enough liquid left after sampling the concoction to add my NC legal 151 Everclear and peach schnapps lol. Can’t wait to see how this turns out. Thanks for posting. A bit of constructive criticism ditto on the background music. A lower volume would make your future videos more enjoyable.
Yes . In college we would take cheap vodka and raspberries strawberries and blueberries what was cheap at farmers market grocery store.put fruit in Mason gars.let set for a week or two.it was great. remember never mix grape and grain equals headache.
Yes. The grain alcohol needs time to settle down. If you need it quickly, I would recommend using the 150 proof version of Everclear but it will be VERY strong right after you make it.
So if it's sitting in the pantry it would be shelf stable. How long do you process the jars for in order to make everything you added to the alcohol now shelf stable?
You could most certainly give it a try. The flavor will most likely be different but it should be good. And, if it's less than 190 proof, you won't have to wait the full 8 weeks to let it settle down.
I made this about 5 months ago using home canned Pennsylvania peaches and it was a hit. I made 2 more batches this weekend. Bought the ebook too and making all of them 😊
@@jasonetueni6630 no not yet. Did make apple pie moon shine with raw home made spirit. Still working on flavour profiles. Spiced rum is working well. Cheers
It is fruity but does have an alcohol taste as it is moonshine. I guess it would depend upon your preference. You can always use it in a drink to make it less strong. It should be good for 6 months.

Oh my, It’s been canned now for about 2 hours. I had some left over that wouldn’t fit into the 6 qt jars I filled I can’t start drinking it. It’s so good. Maybe the difference is my NC legal 151 Everclear but this stuff is so good. Yeah this ain’t gonna make it to age out for months.
I took a look at your video just to remind me how to make it .I found that you didn't specify how much sugar or grape peach juice to use also I tried some leftover moonshine 5 days later and it tasted very good so waiting 2 months is all bullshit..
The full printable recipe is linked in the video description. You can find all of the ingredients, measurements and process there. The length of time you have to let it sit depends on the proof of the grain alcohol. If you use 190 proof grain, you should probably let it sit for 8 weeks. If you use a lesser proof (EX 150), it won't need to sit as long.
The recipe is in the show notes under the video. Please always refer to the printable recipe when making something to make sure that the outcome is successful.
This is not moonshine in any way !! This is just peach flavored store bought alcohol. You have to ferment and distill in order to make moonshine. The ingredients you put in the pot before the alcohol could be made into moonshine once fermented and distilled.

The musics too loud but I’m subscribing to see what else you put out. Looks delicious
by letting it sit the flavor comes out and it gets stronger...

Thanks for the math
Which is better for taste, vodka or everclear? If I don't want it too strong, I can cut back on the everclear by 25%?
The vodka would not be as strong. You can always use mixers to make the cocktail less potent.
Glad I found this site
Thanks!
Wow. Wish I had a glass!

awesome video! simple and right to the point. Cant wait to make this

Can you use a sugar substitute?
I have never tried it but I believe it is worth a shot with a one for one substitute.
Could I add all this to clear moonshine and have same end product
Yes . In college we would take cheap vodka and raspberries strawberries and blueberries what was cheap at farmers market grocery store.put fruit in Mason gars.let set for a week or two.it was great. remember never mix grape and grain equals headache.
You can swap the Everclear for clear moonshine if you prefer. As I've never made it that way, I can't attest that the taste would be the same.
You absolutely can I've made this recipe twice with homemade shine
Can you tell me how many fresh peaches to use? I want to use the fresh peaches instead of the canned ones. Thanks!
Please see the website about answering all the moonshine questions.
Yes looks good. Will make very soon!

This has to sit for months? I need it yesterday
Yes. The grain alcohol needs time to settle down. If you need it quickly, I would recommend using the 150 proof version of Everclear but it will be VERY strong right after you make it.
What can i sub peach snops with? Im useing some homemade and i dint want to dalute with other alcohol
You can leave the schnapps out if you'd like. I've found it doesn't really dilute the moonshine but it does add extra peach flavor.
What quantity was the grape juice bottles?
The full recipe is in the link in the description.
Thanks a million, can’t wait to make it. One more question…. Does the sweetness change overtime?
So if it's sitting in the pantry it would be shelf stable. How long do you process the jars for in order to make everything you added to the alcohol now shelf stable?
You do not need to process the jars.
Can you make this with out all that sugar
I have only made it via the recipe in the recipe card. However, you can make it how you would enjoy it.
Does it have to be in a fridge if it has fruit in it .. or can I just keep it in the basement on a shelve
No the alcohol keeps it. Check out my ultimate moonshine guide.
No the alcohol keeps the fruit fine. Check out my ultimate guide.
Does it have a strong cinnamon taste?
Not really but you can adjust it.
Not strong at all just a hint of cinnamon flavor
Christine ❤️ could you use VO. Or Maker's Mark ❓❓ A soother whiskey.

I did. 🤮 I didn't let it sit for any length of time.
Nasty 🤨🤢🤮
So .. your saying to let it fermat 👍🏻
How long will this keep in the fridge?
You can keep it for months in the pantry. It doesn't need to be refrigerated due to the very high alcohol content.
@@ItIsaKeeper thank you
Hi can I use simply peach juice
You can give it a try - I don't see why it wouldn't work if the proportions are the same.
Yes it came out delicious
Hello Young Lady, with using canned or fresh fruit, instead of dried, do you store in the fridge?
I do not. If you use the 190 proof grain alcohol, the high alcohol content will preserve the fruit if stored at room temp.
@@ItIsaKeeper What about with 120 proof, that's the highest where I live.

How long exactly is it suppose to sit? 1 month? 3months?
It will last for months as long as it's tightly sealed.
how much sugar did you add into this moonshine?
2.5 cups. The ingredient list and link to the printable recipe are in the video description.
Do I need to add in the cinnamon sticks?
If you don't like them, you don't have to add them. It just adds another layer of flavor.
