Thank you, you took the words out of my mouth. MSNBC are arguing both points, many applaud his testimony here but then they turn against him. Nobody likes being called a liar. One thing the pundits ignore is Cohen got upset the prosecution went after his wife. If Blanch is anywhere near a good lawyer he will bring up Cohens wife and his kids. That could get deep under his skin, but I suspect the prosecution and judge would object. We will see.

I disagree with Barbara. For Cohen to say "That sounds like something I would say" rather than saying "yes" isn't being evasive. At one point he even says that he isn't sure if he said those exact words but that the intent is correct. Other networks I use and trust - The MeidasTouch Network, Bryan Tyler Cohen, and Justice Matters with Glenn Kirshner - all opine that Cohen is doing well.

Michael Cohen did a great job. The defense council didn't do their homework and tried to connect him to a merchandise web that wasn't his! Everything Cohen testified to is backed up with receipts.

The fact that the Defense told Judge Merchan that they are considering calling as a witness on Monday an Election Law Expert tells us that Trump's Defense Team fully understands that Election Interference is something that they might need to address. We'll see...

To be fair, the prosecution put Cohen on the stand. So the defense should have their chance to question him. Cohen just has to deal with all of it. The only way out of all this is straight through it.

As a Democrat I feel like I can answer this. It's because Trump won the election he wasn't supposed to win in 3016. We were able to mail in enough votes in 2020 to defeat him but we're doing this as a measure of interference because we're not so sure we can get enough mail in votes next time, or in case they start requiring ID to vote or voting in person.

In a system where a witness must be coached to the point of choosing certain words over others is not a system where truth is valued very much. Cohen has been coached for many hours and still criticism of his choice of words? Like if he says, "YES, i said these exact words" VS. "Sounds like something I would say" should get a defendant convicted or not. IS JUST TOO MUCH RIDING ON MANERISMS & WORDS if this is the way our system really works. Facts should speak for themselves.

For a juror to throw out all of Cohen's testimony because he did not answer in a yes or no but instead said " Sounds like something I would say" would be insane.
