I think I've only commented on maybe 10 videos in my entire life :P but I hope you keep doing raid guides... Other's aren't well put together, get too wordy and talk too much, don't show things clear enough, and so forth. I thoroughly enjoyed the content and hope to see you continue come dawn!
Solid guide, had been looking forward to it! Already cleared a few times but good to see some of the thing I didnt know that you showed. One thing we saw doing a lot of runs today was that it seemed to be a lot easier dropping the blackhole right on the NE/NW corner and having the party start a bit south. Made dodging it super comfy.
Good spot of there being four different patterns for the first Flare mechanic. Did notice that while raiding, but couldn't pick out what the difference was initially or how to read where would be safe. This video helped me to get that down, so thanks for your work.
helpful and out fast, just one potential improvement, the visceral whirl diagrams could use markers showing the 3 points in relation to the safe zones as im having a little trouble relating them to the patterns
@@user-ul8ns7xv9p The initial X aoes were showing in the toolbox editor, but yeah, I can see the missing initial spots being a misleading. Will see about getting a fix for this, but in the video itself there's a few patterns of it being resolved if that helps. If you've questions on a specific pattern let me know!
Helpful guide and thank you for time stamps. Only thing is I couldn't really understand how to do the pink lines after Vicereal Whirl. I was also confused cause the mechanic was yellow instead of pink of the screen 😂 Thanks for the guide though!
Because they arent baitable. If they were, the safe spots wouldn't be so consistently the same i dont think. I also perform the same movemt there everytime and have gotten different patterns all the time.
When I was doing this fight, I eventually got into the habit of positioning myself in the tower closest to the middle of the arena and running straight there after soaking since more often than not the safe spot was in that general area. It worked and nine times out of ten I was perfectly safe. If the lines really were baitable, I'd be hitting the middle with a line every time. My guess is that RNG heavily gaslit you - you theorized they were baitable and every pull after testing it out made it look like you were baiting them.

We'll be doing every encounter in Dawntrail!

Yeah, my editor threw that in the toolbox as a very viable alternative strat!
Thanks for the feedback by the way.

I wonder why no one realizes that you can bait the direction of the fires from flare. Where are these patterns coming from?

RNG might have gotten me that way. It's nuts. Thanks to both of you.
Yeah I remember during prog I thought the same! There will be 4 specific patterns though. 3 safe spots are around mid
