- This combo is insane. i found brutal voxel doom where the complicated folders and files needed to play voxel doom is compressed into one pk3 file, not to mention some brutal doom aspects partnered with it.
so i pared it with Eday vanilla mod. and its a good fit.
So in this vid, i play through the first 2 levels. highly suggest playing

As the mod developer, go for headshots to take out enemies faster.

Exactly. Its a big reason why i rarely get new games anymore.... they are mostly money pits or geard for pay2win.
voxel is amazing
I've been playing brutal voxel doom for the lasts 6 months. Twice a week, about 40 to 60 minutes, till I get dizziness and headaches. This week I test the last Brutal Doom v22. I feel like I can´t go back to the old 2d sprites monsters. The Future of classic Doom is Brutal Doom. And the future of Brutal Doom is with voxels
I see where your coming from. But i have to disagree. There are many many good mods of different types. Brutal voxel doom is one of the ones that needed to be made. But there are other contenders to brutal doom or project brutality.
One of my favs that ive made more then one video on is DN3Doom. It is an awesome recreation of Duke 3D in gzdoom. Plays alot like brutal doom but with other advantages. Such as having either doom enemies, duke enemies, or combo of the both. Varying the percentage. Making insane enemy combinations. One of the best vids that i made was Legacy of Rust and DN3Doom together on GZDoom. Added a relighting mod that my old GPU can handle and you got an awesome gameplay experience.
the voxel sprites are alright but good enough to make anything else obsolete in my opinion.
@@graberassadventures3539 I dont think you understand my point. If you are used to play with voxels graphics for months, then is hard to get back to the old 2d sprite. Gzdoom has the ability to play with mouselook. 2d sprites looks awful with mouselook
@@pedro3115 There's monsters only version. Can be combined with new brutal doom or just brutal doom weapons
@@pedro3115 again. Like i stated. I understand your point and see where your coming from. I wasnt trying to say your wrong. I like the voxel look. And i can see how once you use it so much it can be hard to go back.
However. Sayong that you cant go back to 2d sprites will make it hars for you to discover othet hidden gem mods that in itself can be put on the same type of pedistal.
I myself never stick with just one type of mod. It limits the experience.
If you dont mind. I want to present a friendly challenge 😁
If you can. Find the mowing grass mod and myhouse wad. It will become the most ridiculous thing you have played, but will also be insanly fun.
As a bonus. You maybe able to add a vanilla monster voxel mod aswell. But regardless. Try those two as a combo

Voxel brutal doom could be insane. The models should have gore on the inside of the voxels and it can really become insane
