When she sings to moses and kisses him one last time, I started to cry. My son turned 3 month old today and I love him so much. I couldn't imagine ever losing him. God bless her for being so faithful.

The wailing prayer of Ofra Haza (Yocheved) after her two stanzas of song at the Nile River chills one to the bone. The greatest female singing voice in recorded music history sang everything that she felt and believed. And she sang it better than anyone else. This faithful princess of song, now has a Soprano position in the Heavenly Choir. G-d bless Ofra.

I don't believe there are any words to describe just how meaningful these songs are. It's like they reach to the very core of my being.
These are songs that I can listen to all day, and not one get tired of them.
I wish this movie got an award or something. Why do the best of things go unnoticed?

I might be a hebrew speaker and a musician, but by the comments i see it has nothing to do with it. And i'm an atheist so it has nothing to do with religion aswell.

Ok seriously this is not the place for religious debate. People on both sides, please just stop hating on each other. A person's religious beliefs or lack there of is THEIR choice. Not all religious people are insane and neither are all non religious people. I'm not denying that there are extremists on both sides, because there are. I myself am Catholic, but my closest friends are Islamic, Jewish, and Atheist, and I have friends from several other religions as well. Yes, religion can both bring

You assume that Satan exists, sir, and that God exists.
And that is your right, but I do not believe in that, and so cannot take your explanation as valid.
What's more, I could not excuse such a God even if I did believe one existed. You say Satan rules this world? Well, then who is supreme overall--God, or Satan?
If it is God, as you seem to believe, then he must have power over Satan and, thus, by your own logic, his refusing to intervene to stop him makes him malevolent and culpable.

Oh, when Ofra Haza (Yocheved) begins to wail drawing on so much pain in her own life and in Jewish history, one just crumbles in one's chair. Her ancestors' dhimmitude in Yemen may not have been nearly as painful as it was in Ashkenazic Europe, but it was no picnic either.

God this movie is beautiful. This song. The visuals. The feeling you get from it.
You wont be able to see something like anytime soon with 3D animation....

This is one of the most beautiful songs I've heard! It's amazing how one woman did her voice to all the languages.. People should stop worrying about the religion.. Believe what you believe, embrace it!! I'm atheist if anyone cares :D

Even as a kid this was my favorite (kids) movie song. Even then I thought the voice was the most amazing thing.

Love this song this has always been my favorite movie even though it is a little different than the actual story it is very close and I've always loved it. The book of Exodus is such an amazing rescue story.
