When she sings to moses and kisses him one last time, I started to cry. My son turned 3 month old today and I love him so much. I couldn't imagine ever losing him. God bless her for being so faithful.
"My son, I have nothing I can give But this chance that you may live I pray we'll meet again, If he will Deliver us" -- oh my god, her voice is AMAZING. everytime i hear that part, i wanna cry ='[
I love Ofra Haza's music since 1980's I was a young girl then, of 19. Intrigued by her music .......she was a Princess taken away before her time, a songbird who’s memory will live forever! I will always carry you in my heart ❤️
The wailing prayer of Ofra Haza (Yocheved) after her two stanzas of song at the Nile River chills one to the bone. The greatest female singing voice in recorded music history sang everything that she felt and believed. And she sang it better than anyone else. This faithful princess of song, now has a Soprano position in the Heavenly Choir. G-d bless Ofra.
I don't believe there are any words to describe just how meaningful these songs are. It's like they reach to the very core of my being. These are songs that I can listen to all day, and not one get tired of them. I wish this movie got an award or something. Why do the best of things go unnoticed?
One more thing I wanna add---the cuteness of baby Moses. Isn't he absolutely adorable??? You can already tell he's going to be handsome when he's older.
Ofra’s voice is unbelievably beautiful. It haunts me in the best way possible. Imagine if ANYONE else sant this song for the movie? Bye. That wouldn’t have been okay. She is a master of the voice.
I remember watching this when I was little, every time my parents asked me if i wanted to watch a movie, I would always want to watch "Prince of Egypt". I would sing this song every day!! :')
This is one of the few songs ever in any animated film that actually has depth in it. You can seriously feel the sorrow and promise in this song. Ofra Haza did SUCH an amazing job. She is greatly missed...
Every times I see this I can somehow feel on my skin the suffer that my ancestors felt in Egypt, and sometimes I even shad a tear from this scene, awesome movie!!!
if anyone wondered what she's saying in 2:13 in hebrew: ysldi hatov ve'harach, al tira ve'al tif'had. my good and soft son, don't be worried and don't be afraid.
Ofra Haza had an amazing voice and talent... Because of her I'm proud to be a Yemenite Jew!! Her death was so tragic and sad... Rest in peace Ofra, we still remember you and your beautiful work.
The singer Is no longer between us, she past away, but her voice never be forggoten. This song is beautiful. The story is well performed, and I love the movie, because you can use to teach the little ones, one of the big history of the jurney of humanity. Stop critizicing one to another it is insane.
Hearing this song makes me feel like somebody is holding my heart. I might be a hebrew speaker and a musician, but by the comments i see it has nothing to do with it. And i'm an atheist so it has nothing to do with religion aswell. Its simply amazing how good music can deliver feelings, emotions, vibes, energies...
Ofra haza has such a strong voice. I'm brazilian and I'm surprised that she sang this song in so many languages. I only discovered that who sings in portuguese is the same person that sings in english when I read the description of this video, but I always thought that "their voices" are similar. hahaha
Ok seriously this is not the place for religious debate. People on both sides, please just stop hating on each other. A person's religious beliefs or lack there of is THEIR choice. Not all religious people are insane and neither are all non religious people. I'm not denying that there are extremists on both sides, because there are. I myself am Catholic, but my closest friends are Islamic, Jewish, and Atheist, and I have friends from several other religions as well. Yes, religion can both bring

Kira Suzuki Hi. Atheist here. This is a religious story for you, yes. But for me I see it as any other fictional story. I can still very much enjoy and appreciate it, just in a different way. ☺
I used to watch this movie all the time when I was little, and the song that his mom sings always made me cry, and it still does. Such an amazing story this is.

I am a 18 year old male who likes action and shoot em ups maybe more than the next guy, and this part also makes me start to choke up. I watched this movie all the time when i was little. Still a masterpiece of a movie.
God this movie is beautiful. This song. The visuals. The feeling you get from it. You wont be able to see something like anytime soon with 3D animation....

Love this song this has always been my favorite movie even though it is a little different than the actual story it is very close and I've always loved it. The book of Exodus is such an amazing rescue story.
When she sings to moses and kisses him one last time, I started to cry. My son turned 3 month old today and I love him so much. I couldn't imagine ever losing him. God bless her for being so faithful.

I've listened to this song at least a thousand times, and each time, Ofra Haza's voice just sounds more and more beautiful. She's absolutely divine.

Beautifully arranged...this song still gives me chills. Ofra Haza's voice is full of so much emotion, you can really feel the mother's pain.

One of the most AMAZING soundtracks ever done.
Dang... every time I hear this song I get the chills. This is so beautiful
Love this song this has always been my favorite movie even though it is a little different than the actual story it is very close and I've always loved it. The book of Exodus is such an amazing rescue story.
