Thanks for joining us on this journey.
Our aim is to document our travels around Australia driving our Ford Ranger while towing the Essentials caravan.
We will review places we have stayed and items we use as well as show you any changes we make to our car and caravan.
You will find we are true and authentic people and our videos are not going to be perfect, you just get plain old Jon and Tracie

Hi there Tracie and Jon, I think the most important thing about any caravan park is that the communal facilities are tidy and clean. I was extremely impressed with the kitchen, bathroom and laundry facilities. I can imagine that you take advantage of any laundry that you come across to catch up with all your washing especially towels and sheets. For what you get at this caravan site with use of all facilities and power and water connected to your caravan I think the $40 fee is extremely reasonable. Can you imagine their costs in maintaining this site and including their electricity and water bills. It appears that there are some that want everything for nothing! These people need to earn an income as they are noy a charity!!! Well done to both of you for promoting this caravan park, and I hope that many more people travel there after seeing your video.
This is for Tracie only, and while Tracie reads this, Jon you can go out and check the weather... LOL! 🤣
Yesterday I thought I would try the chocolate green vegies in hot water... I added a little milk as I would if I were having tea or coffee, and it tasted just like a hot chocolate. The only thing I didn't like was that it was way too sweet for my liking. I do not add any sugar to tea or coffee, and I am not a fan of anything that is sickly sweet. When I place my next order which will be in the next week or two, I will not include the choc green vegies. Reason being that I love eating real fruit and vegies, and I would rather get the nutrients from them than this chocolate powder. Again, it is way too sweet, and I am also thinking that the chocolate shakes are getting a little too sweet for me also. In my next order I am just going to purchase the coffee shakes and the Lady bars.
You will be happy to know that I am still walking every morning around 6am for about one hour, and then around 9am I walk into town, and then home again. Also, after lunch (real food!!!) I do the 15 minute walking exercise which I really enjoy doing. My weight is slowly going down again to my delight and have currently lost 6.3kg in 35 days.
Tracie, when you resume your weight loss journey on your other channel after your travels, I will be there giving you support and cheering you on.
Take care both of you, and happy travelling. Blessings and love. Gloria ❤
Hi Gloria, We are very lucky to have a washing machine in our caravan. It is a 3kg machine so I can even put our Queen bed sheets in for a wash. Jon rigs up a washing line under our awning for me to hang the washing.
Gloria, I could only tolerate the choc veges mixed with the shake. Happy to hear you are doing that one hour walk, well done. My feet are not liking this trip so long walks for me are still out.
Glad you are also enjoying these videos
Take Care
BTW Jon is still checking out the weather but not succeeding much with his "predictions" lol
What a lovely park what more do you want thanks for showing us❤ take care
It was so perfect, no needs for all the bells and whistles. Just a great non-cooperate park
Great little park. Thats all you need for a night or two or three.
It truly was a great park. Recommend it . Thanks for watching
We totally agree. We really enjoyed our recent stay there, facilities were spotless! Safe travels.
Thanks for watching 👀
Thanks for the info, we had thought of a trip out west, and you guys are covering a lot of the places we were thinking about. Good to get the info so we have an idea.
Thats great that you are getting something from our videos. Just be prepared for alot of red dust and flies lol. Safe travels
WOW great park. Considering where you are and the facilities $40 for power and water is very acceptable. The place is a credit to the caretakers the way they keep it spotless
It really was a nice place. Thanks for watching 👀
Thats a very nice clean looking park with amenities beautiful a credit to the owners but $40 a night with no power gee the gensets will be going all night 4 some , luckily theres plenty off room in the park and put them all together in a corner , genset camping only 😅😊
It was $40 with power and water. Not sure what unpowered sites were. Thanks for watching 👀
Saw my first Major Mitchells in that park a few years back.
Watching you two travelling in the summer so I don't have to.
That is awesome! Haha enjoy NOT sweating lol. Thanks for watching
Damb straight
Thanks for watching
Lol Only Spring not summer But hot
Yep it was getting mighty hot there. Thanks for watching
We would rather stay at a park like that than those Big4 ones that cater for the kids with the huge water park’s. We don’t use those facilities and I did let one park know that when the price was quoted. Oh but there is tennis courts and saunas, don’t use that either. We were payed back I believe as they put us on the worst site in the park. Needless to say we won’t go back, the families with kids can have it.
We have recently stayed at a Discovery Park and they are doing upgrades "making it bigger and better for all" ... it wasn't bad but it was a splurge for the waterfront site.
Back to free camping now lol
@@onlyleavingfootprints it’s crazy the prices they charge, should be separate prices for those that want all those facilities. We don’t. Will be making more of an effort to get into low cost and free on our next trip.
You tell me where you can stay for $40 a night….nowhere. Usually these businesses are run by bread and butter families. I would support these businesses before the big parks.
Absolutely 💯
Rubbish
Good to know, thanks for watching
