Hi, watching YT to prepare our next trip and wow… what a small world… 11:43 this is us 🎉😊 or much more our rental RV. We were there between Nov 21st and 23rd. Was a great time and Broome is an amazing place! But unfortunately we haven‘t met. Maybe next time in October 2026 😊. Happy day, safe trip and sorry for taken your site 😉, Karen and Andy from Germany
I'm English by birth but came here as a child. I agree with you. It has always been an amenities block. Having said that in the UK they call them ablutions blocks. I'm guessing the owners of that park come from the UK.
Its not just at this caravan park, we came across this numerous times during our travels plus there are other You Tubers that we have heard say ablutions block. Must be something trickling into Australia lol. Thanks for watching
Hi there, thanks for the compliment. Yes, you are right some of the videos have been done in a friends house along the way. We are a few months behind, there is so much to show I cant put it all in one video. Thanks for watching
Think you will find that Derby has biggest tides.. (The port town of Derby lies near the mouth of the Fitzroy River on the eastern shore of King Sound. King Sound has the highest tides in Australia, and amongst the highest in the world)
When I was in the Air Force Reserve waaay back in the early 1970’s we called them Ablutions Blocks even though in caravan parks we called them Amenities as you say. I just thought that the military had their traditions different from mainstream. So the term is not foreign to us regular Aussies but you are on the money that ‘we’ haven’t used the term ‘ablutions’ in general life. In my limited opinion, that is.
Wow, that is highway robbery. Talk about taking advantage of travellers. Makes us appreciate traveling through the low season (except for the heat lol). Thanks for watching

Oh wow! It is a small world, would have been lovely to have met you. Glad you enjoyed Broome, but boy it was so hot then. Happy travels
I dont understand either, it's amenities to me as well.
Thanks for the walk through
Thank you. I am so glad I am not the only one lol. Appreciate your support

Nice video 👍
Much appreciated
ablusion's block should be for showers and toilets. amenities block camp kitchen.
Thanks for your thoughts :)
It’s not always cheaper booking via the G’day Parks app. We’ve got better rates going direct to the park. Nice vid though. We loved Broome.
Good to know! Maybe cheaper this way in the low season, but it does pay to check. Thanks for your comment and support
I still call them amenities blocks, or toilets, never heard them called ablutions block.
Me too, or as someone said above just call it the dunny lol
Great video, just wondering what month you were there?
Hi there. We were there end of November
Thanks for watching 👀
Hi, loving all the videos you put up. Your videos about products seem to be in a house? How far behind are you in your travel videos?

Thank you for sharing, we are heading there the end of July!
Hope you enjoy it! We thought it was a nice place, just hot when we were there. Be sure to check out Cable Beach at sunset
Interesting, I’ve only ever known them as ablutions. Maybe it’s a WA thing 🤷🏼♀️
Nah, we have heard is alot through our travels. Very strange. Thanks for watching

Thats interesting information Thank you. I read that about Broome in a brochure so I assumed it was correct. Thanks for the clarification :)

We started hearing it more and more on other You Tube vlogs but then whilst traveling around its becoming more common. Cant say I like the word lol
off session it's June ??
Correct and this is because our videos are not on "real time". Thanks for watching
I’m guessing maybe it’s a local use of the word. Here in Vic it’s definitely an Amenity’s Block 👍🏽
We have been hearing it alot on our travels but also with other You Tubers videos. Very weird
Always amanise block never ever herd off the other saying 🤔 ask them why they call it that
We have heard it in many places along our travels. Very strange
In OZ.....Showers & Dunny. So I know what your meaning with your thought is..........Modern Immigration I guess.
Well I was trying to be a lady by saying Amenties lol (cough cough) But we have been hearing ablutions more and more, very weird
No idea sounds American to me
No idea either but we are hearing this everywhere along the way
I did a bit of research (google) lol its a French and English word
Its about cleaning washing face hands ect
Not number 2
Now im even more confused
