You know what I enjoy so much about your channel Wes ? You do stuff, you're a dooer ! You are not a perfectionist , you're all about getting things done and you are apparantly afraid of nothing. Well you might be a little messy but that makes you interesting. I think you inspire a lot of folk on here so just keep doing it your way and please keep the repair stuff coming. I would love to see you working on the older two cylinders too. Oh, and you talk like a real person too ! Best regards to Tim, he's a powerful dude too.

Wes I feel that way about all equipment, new or used. Equipment that is new to me has to prove itself, I don't care if it is brand spanking new, or bought from a farmer who tells me is it good to go. Time will tell, but I have the utmost faith in the job you did repairing that 4960. I've watched almost all of your vids and you sir, are one hell of a wrench. Kudos, my man.

    Wes
I've been what hung your videos for years and I've always enjoyed them, it's even inspired me to modify my own machinery and even rebuild my Massey ferguson 3085 which has been a great success now done 70 hours and counting. Your videos have also taught me a lot and I hope they continue to do so, it is a absolute pleasure to watch your farm grow and become more and more successful. Seeing as I'm only 23 and still have a lot to learn id like to think when I'm your age I shall be able to pull apart pretty much anything confident that it will run again. Many thanks from rainy England

You're getting a thumbs up from a viewer less than 30 miles from you. I've been watching your videos since around 2011, and in all honesty, you are one of the biggest reasons why I got into farming around that time and have just started my own farm business in Nazareth, PA. I'm growing fruits and vegetables since the financial input is very low for a solo operation. But I hope to plant winter wheat this fall on 12 acres of owned land and possibly some rented acreage as well. I don't know if I could have motivated myself to get in to farming if it hadn't been for your videos. Thanks!

I really enjoy what you are doing, I too just lost my father on December 31st this past year. He grew up on a chicken farm in jackson, NJ from the late 40's to the late 60's. I was born in Point Pleasant, NJ and lived in Brick NJ till i was 5 then moved to Missouri because thats where my fathers job took him. For the last 5 years I've been working on a 2300 acre crop farm helping out a good friend of mine running his Spra-Coupe 4660 for him in my free time from my regular job. Keep up the good work

    Another great video Wes !
2 thumbs up on the content, the quality, and the family mentions. You are a good man and I will continue to give your channel a look daily as I have done since I discovered you in 2009, awesome Tim and Dad are working together and you have the time to produce these HD videos.
Keep on doing what you're doing brother and before I leave ya I think UA-cam should classify agriculture as a category, just because it's so entertaining and educational.

I liked growing up on a small hobby farm 10 acres, and horses, sheep, barn cats, the Grand parents had a respectable sheep farm, probably 100 head minimum, on 40 acres. They would grow their own hay/straw.
I want about 10 acres for a home and recreation, but you have brought back the desire to be a farmer, but with modern machines, I would need a lot of fields. For now you're my farming fix. I appreciate your knowledge and experience, and your willingness to share it. I wish I had the startup capital, and guidance of someone like yourself. I also have great respect for your ability to have 3 generations (and levels of experience) all pulling together to make it work.
I suspect if you offered a season apprenticeship for 1 or 2 lucky viewers, you would be overwhelmed by applicants. If I were able to get a farm, I'd appreciate the opportunity to gain access to your farming tricks and secrets, so I can make a good go at it, and hopefully be successful too.
May your fields be bountiful, and the market kind to you.

Wes- I first found your channel back when you were battling the corn thieves. I lost touch until someone linked a 4960 video to Ag Talk. Glad I came back, as I have enjoyed your project and learning about New Jersey Agriculture. We just about have all the crop in here on the prairie of Central Illinois. Be safe and best wishes!

Wes I hope you keep making videos for a long time or for as long as you're able to. I always like all of your videos and I watch every single one of them. I hope to one day have as popular of a channel as you have. I loved the re-build of the 4960 because it taught me a lot if things about tractors and parts that I didn't know. I was telling my dad about every one of the 4960 re-build videos and he said that he was happy that I was able to learn so much from a video that someone put out on UA-cam for people. Most agriculture videos that I watch are just the person doing the farm work and not explaining anything at all.

Wes you don't need to tell me to thumbs up you, I've done that with every video of yours I've ever watched which is most of them (if not all of them). And keep posting them, the longer the better. I really enjoy seeing how things are done outside of my farm community. I also had to look up the field that your in on google maps, and I'm pretty sure I found it since there appears to be bales in the field. It looks a lot different there than our flatland farms here in north central Ohio. Your definitely my favorite channel on the old youtube land.

Wes, Dont worry about the intolerable moments BRO, we are all entitled to bad days even if they are more than normal. We all realize that you have had more than your fair share on your plate. Thanks for all you and your family do for this country. Without farmers, none of us would eat very well. I also wanna say on my behalf and that of others, If you would ever need any kind of help what so ever, just know all you gotta do is ask or tell us, and I am sure we all would be there. Its kinda crazy to say, but I think we all feel like we know ya just by watching your channel. I hope one day I get to meet you. Which brings me to you ever need a place to crash on one of your trips to buy a piece of equipment etc, and your travelling through the heart of Indiana, speak up, cause you got it. I tell my wife and daughter about you and Tim all the time. Anyway take care my friend, keep doing what you do. Thanks, Chris

I think your videos are great I grew up on the farm too the family farm is becoming a dying breed of people it always helps to educate people on how it is in agriculture most people forget that the farmer brings the food to our tables the clothing we wear and it takes dedication and skills to survive as a farmer the videos you share bring that to light . farming ingenuity can solve any problem in real life as well as on the farm I thank you for posting your videos and keep up with your videos

I don't agree with you always, but I am able to respect honest people like yourself and to each their own is what I say. Thumbs down draws the same response as a thumb up as far as googler is concerned. It will promote both. It's the interaction that gets counted-good or bad.

I totally agree about the issue of UA-cam not posting agriculture as a separate topic - this must reduce the number of chance visitors to your channel which is a great shame.
As someone who was involved in training and education for agricultural and related subjects, I am only too aware that our industries are overall poor at promotional matters for and about the industry and channels like your own, I believe, go some way at least to communicate better with particularly with the young and urban population. Thanks and well done.

Love your videos. One of the 1st things I do when I sit down in front of my computer since I discovered your channel is check and see if you've added anything new. I really enjoy your wit and how you "abuse" your kids lol. It's obvious that you've had good family values instilled in you and that you're passing them on to your kids. Sorry to hear about your sister's passing but she'll always be in your heart. Cheers!

I think it's asinine on Google and UA-cam's part that they don't have an agricultural heading. After all, it is what feeds this country and a lot of others regardless of how the country's population thinks. If ALL farmers and livestock producers would go on strike and not raise any crops or supply the various meat products and other products pertaining to for just one year, look at how many people would literally starve to death. Not all produce is supplied by "corporate" types but a great portion is also supplied by the "private small farmers" as well. As I stated in an earlier post, I am also a farm owner but have not grown anything as an income in a few years due to lack of demand. I now more or less use the place as my "personal playground" Although I have all the equipment to start producing again, such as 3 tractors (all Massey Ferguson's) plows, disks, cultivators, hay rake, small hay square baler, bush hogs, scraper blades, hay wagon (small ), hay spear for round bales plus other items not listed to keep this somewhat short. But Yes, I am still interested greatly at how others manage their farming and maintenance of keeping it going on a slim profitable margin. Keep up the videos and to let you know, I'll NEVER post a negative comment nor will I ever give you a thumbs down on any video you upload to your channel.
