The stock exhaust sounds so bad I just assumed this engine was incapable of making good sounds. Happy to be proven wrong.

For some odd reason, the b9 RS5 made me love and appreciate V6s, I would get it before an M4 or a C63

Matt P yes, but it doesn’t sound too much like a V6 to me. This sounds sorta like a smoother Japanese V6 and despite being quiet, I love the tone and the upshifts

I'm looking to purchase one of these for my car, 2019 Audi rs5 sportback. Will it trigger my engine light? Or do I have to get it tuned, in order to avoid that?
Will not trigger a CEL, nor is software needed to install the exhaust.

I really wish you guys would make a SwitchPath version. I'd toss my Milltek in the trash and order one on the spot if you did. I really need the ability to gas it without getting slapped with a vehicle inspection here and preserving the already existing valve system is great for just that.

That sounds awesome, but I wish you guys would make a switchpath version for the Sportback. That's definitely loud in several different situations: the early morning, being in front of law enforcement, living in hilly areas.

The programming of the ECU from the factory in the B9 S/RS has some burble in S Mode.
You guys do amazing work but I can't help but hate the new engines in performance cars. I'm sure every new car is a challenge for you guys and you pretty much nail it everytime. I really wanted to sell my B8.5 S4 and get something meaner sounding and looking but unfortunately I may need to leave Audi. You guys can perfect the sound but the appearance of the overall models is questionable.
Thanks for the kind words. Not a fan of the RS 5's aesthetic, eh? I am now a huge fan, it has grown on me immensely.
@@awetuning sadly the nose on the RS5 looks like a mistake to me. I can deal with the rear and accept the side profile but I can't get past the front end. The ABT RS5s have a little extra going on up front and that helps to distract the eyes a little. I'll probably play it safe and go for a 911 or something a little more sporty looking.

We decided against producing a SwitchPath™ configuration. We did not find the need for valves.
Awww really?? I was planning on ordering that to keep the stock valve system intact. So essentially it will always be "Loud"? Have your switchapath on the B9 S4 and its wonderful.

Why are the flaps ticking back and forth after startup?
There are no flaps. That is the sound of the valve motors working as if the stock exhaust was still in place. We deploy our MVS bracket to essentially simulate the valves and the ECU remains happy. The B9 valve behavior is quite wonky.

@@MrSackinator Negative as it sounds the same as Touring Edition given the straight-through designs. The only difference is the refinement within the cabin. Touring has our 180 Technology, and the Track Edition does not.
