I've only regretted passing upon opportunities. I promise this is probably the last "reasonable" time you'll be able to buy into an NSX. Smart car guys should be shopping and driving NSXs sooner rather than later.

you and matt to me, are the wise wizards of buying cars that “you won’t lose money on”
You don’t need to listen to them, I know more and can beat them on car knowledge and speculation anytime any day.
Today, Mr. Spaghetti tells us that the tastiest meatballs are only available for a limited time.
these jokes suck
Na they are awesome
its been years but i still see this style of joke its kinda great. like seeing an old friend
😂
I love it. But what’s the back story to the spaghetti ?
Here for the NSX love ♥. Definitely a "maintenance > mileage" situation when shopping especially if you plan to drive it. A well-documented 150k mile car is effectively just broken in. the 300k mile club isn't even all that exclusive in the NSX community and there are a couple out there pushing towards a half mil. We finally had an issue with ours at 315,000 miles....but to be fair 10k of the last 100k miles were track miles.
Thats insane. This was my dream car growing up.
Well done. I don’t regret selling mine but it was a driver, not collector, and it was my only fun car. One day it would be nice to get one as just a nice date night / cars & coffee car.
Waiting for Rob to tell us how fun, reliable, and valuable a RSX Type-S is 🤑
My dad has a 2002 NSX in absolutely mint condition with a Comptech supercharger, headers, and the engine bay brace on it he's looking to sell. It's QUICK. It's so nice that he doesn't want to drive it, he wants to sell it to get something to take to an occasional track day.
What’s his asking
Yeah! What is he asking?

I love the fact that you appreciate the NSX. More special coming from someone that drives nearly everything and puts a lot of miles on everything as well due to your business (More global perspective). I'm on my second after regretting selling the first and I feel like it delivers for me. It's certainly not fast and I wish it had like 350hp but I wouldn't bother with FI for a number of reasons. Personally I'm a fan of 350 to 400hp because I because I can run through the gear without a track (Although admittedly I did love my former 526hp GT350 which I also regret selling). Another benefit to the NSX is that they are nearly all 20 years old now so limited property taxes (value at $500 in CT anyways although state specific I guess). Next step for me (or addition) is probably a new Emira due to that sweet spot of 400ish HP and Toyota Engine (but that's me). Good Luck with her. PS: Only Lambo I ever drove was a Gotham parking lot track event years back...
why'd you sell gt350, emira are cool, but id have to go c8 even tho they everywhere, do u think emira holds value
Your NSX is a stunning spec, I totally agree with you there under valued, I'm on my 3rd & I've done the supercharger upgrade & it's great, but still an easy car to drive regularly, Rj in Oz
Reporting this video so that people don’t inflate the value of this car because it’s my dream car and I don’t want to spend that much!
Nice…we didnt get unnecesary zoom in/out with this one. Good job Mr Editor. 😁
I have an FD rx7 and a Mk4 Supra, and all my friends ask when im getting an NSX. To be completely honest I want one but I dont see paying that money for them. People that dont own 90s jdm cars fail to realize the maintenance, and parts availability. It sucks for these cars.
This car maintenance is pretty easy and simple. Plenty of tech who makes videos etc and plenty of people in forum. This car is 30 years old so it’s not that hard and plenty of knowledge out there to be shared if you own one. Unlike a supra or rx7, not many people gets to be in that factor instead building Honda engines.
What do you do for work and how much do you make to be able to comfortably afford an FX-7 FD and Supra MK4?
@leslie7872 Im not sure about comfortable. I run my own business selling car parts. Some months are fine and I can afford to do what I want to them other months sales are low and I can only afford operating expenses and living expenses. Its a fine balance but I make it work while trying to stay debt free.
other cars can be faster, more comfy, better daily but the NSX is for DRIVING. They draw my attention more than any ferrari and hope to drive one some day.
Rob ages like fine wine I might need this cbd for my knees 😉
Great photo of Tiara in the NSX Rob. Can't believe she's gone.
Was going to say something similar. Heart strings were definitely tugged on.
I’ve owned mine since new in 1997. 62k miles. Fully stock. Love it.
RIP tiara briana
My dream car been saving and I’m halfway there.
I have a 91 in black and it's next 2 my 3 R34s. Still my favorite
I knew this video was coming after Farah bought one 😅😂
This was actually filmed before I went to Italy, so before Matt bought the NSX. He knows his cars, his purchase totally supports my advice.
Rob doesn’t do anything based on what that weirdo does
@@superspeeders no I actually found it cool that you both finally have the same car again. Been following you guys since ‘08
If you look at the original MSRP during the cars life cycle(60-90k)Robs prediction in appreciation doesn’t seem crazy. Many classics are worth 20 times it’s original value today. Rob is only predicting 3-4 times. Lol. I think a great license frame for a NSX is “If I wanted a fast car, I could have bought two”. My advise is to only buy a classic if that is your dream car and don’t care if it goes up or down in value. I’m confident this car will keep rising in value due to the attention from 18-25 year olds. They love the car and in 10 years will have better jobs to buy them. I drive my Red 98 every weekend since I purchased it 4 years ago. I dreamed of this car since the release over 30 years ago……
4:12 RIP lady
Rob, can you give us an update on the super screener business? Thanks!
Great video Rob! Always love your raw and authentic nature no matter how it's delivered.
Rob: Don’t wait for the market to correct
Me: Don’t worry I’m just waiting for my bank account to correct before I can get one 😂
Is there a second part to this? Update please!
In a sense, it’s reminds me of the same experience as the Miata culture. It’s all about having the most fun really well. Not really fast. LoL.
what are your thoughts on the 2nd generation NSX - hybrid
What’s up with the cheap paint touch up on the upper right bumper
Cornelius Would Be Proud.🙌🏻
I remember when Hoovie sold his ( 6 years ago ?) for about $37,000 if I remember well. It's still a head turner. I thought the GTR was kinda unobtainium for a while ( it had to be imported ? ), hence the higher price ? Note : I know nothing.
Cmahhhhhn dude I’m literally shopping for one right now. Can’t have this attention!! Haha
Whatever happened the suitcases?
MATT FARAH NSX
I bought mine 12 years ago. It’s doubled in value and still won’t sell it. I sold my S2k which was a mistake. They also are a fantastic car that will continue to increase in value
😅 poster man 🤣🤣🤣 there’s the confidence I need top man 👍
I really hope this isn't true, I want to buy one sometime in the future when I can afford one, if that's the case I never will be able to
The thing is the was so so good in many ways but and a big but not enough power … every other department 💯
Nobody should buy a 20 year old $100k-$180k honda lol. And yes, those are actual west coast prices.
This is the best looking car ever made in my opinion it puts Ferrari and Lamborghini to shame, I think the only car that can give it a run for it’s money look wise is the
Ferrari F40
Still better returns to made in a brokerage account just investing in low cost index funds. Certainly buy the car if you want it and will get some use out of it, but don’t buy expecting to be rich in 20 years living like a retired Jeff Bezos
It’s a good idea, but that is major expense. If you have the money to blow and not have to worry, excellent idea.
I'm forced to think about Rob every time I use my manscaped ball shaver. I got 20% off!
Manual twin turbo stock supra is around 80K $ and GTR R34 around 100K $
You list 93'-05 but the Acura market was 1991-2005 with 8949 total units.
👍 Well said. Curious if you would say the same if you try s2000 once more? 🤔
As I recall, he _really_ hated the S2K...
S2000 is all about right road or track nothing under 6500 rpm you gotta drive it like you hate it
Rob over here sounding like Miata owners. It’s not fast but will tell you how fun it is to drive 200 times 😂 the problem with the NSX here in Japan is they cost as much as a gated manual 360 Modena and it’s hard to justify a very slow Honda for that kind of money.
I can't remember the last time I saw one of those generstion NSX's on the road. Oh wait... yes I do, when I saw Rob driving his NSX at the Supercar Show in Philly a few years back. 😉
Was nice to see Tiara again. She lives on in all of us.
Would love to get a Pop up Headlights NSX-T so a 95-00 model year. But here in the US they are badged as ACURA. I would then rebadge it as a HONDA NSX cause The rest of the world calls it a HONDA NSX, I call it a HONDA NSX. So I will replace the airbag cover in steering wheel, the front and rear badge, the wheel caps. Even the little Tape player cover on the Radio with HONDA.
Many have done that and it’s easy to do. I did as well. I didn’t replace the radio cassette cover though as I put an aftermarket LCD screen radio instead, but everything else now says Honda.
I bought a very low mileage 2005 in early 09 for 78k from an old man that bought it for his granddaughter. I was 20 at the time and still have the car to this day. One of the smartest purchases I’ve done.
The Testarossa is the most undervalued car in the world right now. A Tesrarossa cost 5x what a 911 turbo cost new. And almost double the price of a countach in 1985..
With all the money you put into your NSX made me realized I can’t afford one unfortunately.
2034: “I shoulda listened to Rob”
Glad I bought mine in 2012 when the market had already tanked before all these crazy prices we have now
I can't believe people still come here to make silly, "Mr Spaghetti" comments.
Anyhooo... I've always loved these cars and that blue on tan is my favorite spec for this model.
Today Mr. Spaghetti tries to pump his investment of a car
Can’t do it simply to slow. Great alternative fellas just buy the F430 or Gallardo.
Rob trying to bump up the value of his assets lol....
The parts market always follows something so limited production, no surprises there.
:D Yes, buy when the price has peaked.
Boosted Bois and PFI speed have fast NSX’s
In Australia the cheapest is 180k
Hell yeah. And its been through a flood!
today mr meatball tells me why I need to buy a v6 rwd accord
classic nsx are amazing daily drivers. anyone can drive them.
I never will forget the nice summer day in 2007 when I pulled into the parking lot at Honda R&D and saw like, 10 NSXs in executive parking area. 😳
I think that was the first and only time I've ever seen one, in person, just being used as a car.
But acura doesn't really produce parts for replacements. A/C controls usually go bad on those cars every now and then its an easy thousand dollars to just fix. replacement Parts aren't as common as they are with the R34 or the supra.
My car is 190k and ac works like new only a few broken vents. But works great
AC controls is usually a pretty easy fix. Replace some bad caps and you’re good to go. At least most of the time.
Climate control repair is $300
Do I look like I got nsx money
ROB DELETE THIS IMMEDIATELY. I have wanted one of these my entire life and I don't need the price going up before I even have the money to buy it while it's under-priced😂😂😂
I want an NSX so bad
yo Rob, if you see this, would it be worth trading my 78 bronco for one? ive had a few offers in the 60-80k range, and I see a few NSXs in that ballpark. I think the bronco is a similarly sound investment but idk
NSX all day every day
💙💙💙
Sure we should all run out and buy a 20 year old car instead of something more newer... AHHH NO
Why no supercharger on it?
It’ll make it unreliable. You’re paying 100k for it not cuz it’s fast if you wanna go fast buy a faster car essentially
The fuel pump usually doesn’t flow like it did new causing the cars to lean out. The fuel management from CT/Comptech is ancient and doesn’t adjust well to variables from an aging platform. N/A they’ll go forever.
I’m not a big JdM person so I won’t buy one, granted I do have an s2000 I paid close to nothing for and drive and beat on for fun. But I did buy a different car I know will be sought after once they all go electric
Sure just give me $70k player 😂
*warning* watching this video will make you realized that you got older while watching rob get older 🤯
Changing a timing belt on a nsx looks like a headake
You should look into S2000 CR's. Just don't buy a Berlina Black.
JDM space
Dont wait for the market to be corrected. Be the guy who buys on the top because it went up the last 3-4 years so it must go forever. Come on now. Just buy a Ferrari bobble boy.
Was never into Japanese cars I think of muscle cars Firebirds Z28 chevelle not these I agree it’s rare but not for me
Next video: why im selling my NSX
Let me guess, Rob is selling his 91-05 NSX.
With what is happening in the environment, this type of hobby is not something I entertain anymore. And there are much better, less costly things to do.
Not kidding, the price will raise, but will also go down. The only people who care are those who knew about them. I didn't know about it, it is meh to me. I now know about it but it is still meh.
I was half expecting to see a photoshopped garage with 20-30 NSX with for sale stickers and CA/AZ plates.
Well played. Yeah these things are going to be sought after for decades to come. I think that is a safe bet
Bought my 91 with 69k miles during the pandemic for 44k. Almost overnight it seemed the prices went up for comparable cars to like 65-75k. I don't regret a damn thing. Glad I bought when I did.
Was that Tiara in one of the pictures? If so RIP
The affordable Carrera GT
Nah that would be the 987 Spyder
Is anyone else's youtube really slow at loading ?
It was way underpowered, I'd pass on this car he's trying to inflate the market on.
Rob just get on TRT like the rest of us
Peter MD
JDM Gearing…
Ahh aged meatballs...
Trying to upsell your own car? lol
These Japanese cars are all overpriced for what you actually get, let's be honest.
Your cars isn't a JDM car. Its USDM
I would much rather have the modern NSX
