I’d forgotten how confusing and wonderful this episode is. A lot of people think the series went off the rail this season, and there’s truth to that, but these actors and characters and cinematography can carry just about anything.
One of my most favorite episodes. The acting, editing, writing I just LOVE it! Benedict Cumberbatch was truly phenomenal. Sherlock is rude and ruthless in many ways when it comes to doing what needs to be done but he’s endearing and quite selfless in the grand scheme of things. I just love him and Benedict Cumberbatch was a perfect cast. My favorite Sherlock.
A lot of people are hating on season 4 but this episode is one of my favorites in the whole show! The last episode is great too imo, I'm looking forward to your reaction to it!
I like the season, but dislike the last episode. It's so much more over the top than the rest of the series. The theory is nice, it's just so far outside of the scope of reality that it gets annoying (Sherlock's sister has unrealistic power and might). It felt like a long shot trying to overshadow Moriarty which was an epic yet more realistic villain.
I loved how you had the same reaction to the ending as I did. The only thing is that I had to wait a week for the next episode to find out what the hell was going to happen next.
What you're going to do? You're going to yell at Steven Moffat, Mark Gatiss, Benedict Cucumbercabbagepatch and Matin Freeman to get around to make more Sherlock!!! Many have tried, but it hasn't worked yet.
The last one is the best one! What do you do after it's over? You try to hurry up and forget it and start counting the days until you think you can rewatch it and maybe be surprised by something you managed to forget. When you inevitably hurry it, and rewatch it too soon, and it just doesn't quite hit the same, you go to UA-cam and find someone who is watching it for the first time, and posting their reactions, and you enjoy it vicariously through them. Looking forward to the last episode!
Heyy Ellie There are only 2 movies of Robert Downey Jr's Sherlock Holmes. Sherlock Holmes 2009 Sherlock Homes : A Game of Shadows 2011 So this is the order you should watch it in.
@EllieroseReacts The other notable ones in the last decade: 1. Elementary (Show) 2012 with Jonny Lee Miller 2. Enola Holmes (2 Movies) with Millie Bobby Brown 3. Mr. Holmes (Movie) with Ian McKellen The other movies and shows are REALLLYY old. You could check those out if you want. Again, none of these are connected with each other, so the order doesn't really matter. Of course, the Robert Downey Jr. and Millie Bobby Brown movies have to be watched in their respective order.
@@ivaanroy1787 none of these is good enough to watch. Movies with RJD are much better. I would suggest Soviet Union Sherlock Holmes tv series, but it can be difficult to watch with subtitles.
this show is one of the best to rewatch, i remember i kept watching the last episode for months after the show ended, you need to watch the last episode like right away
If you want the real period Sherlock stories, the 1984-1994 series with Jeremy Brett is top. The films with Robert Downey Jr. & Jude Law are entertaining, directed by Guy Ritchie. 2009 one just called "Sherlock Holmes" and the follow up "Game of Shadows" 2012.
You should watch the blacklist trust me im just watching you reacting to lucifer now and if you like the cop aspect to lucifer you will love the blacklist its really good
If you’re ever interested in watching other Sherlock (kind of) related movies, there are the Enola Holmes movies! Also very great. ALSO SHERLOCK IS ONE OF MY FAVOURITE SERIES; basically re watching and recommending it to multiple people too. I love watching people’s first reactions to shows or movies so it’s just one more reason for me to re watch Sherlock as well
My facial recognition is really good, so the second I saw "Faith", I turned to my mum and said "she looks like the therapist and the woman on the bus"🤐
The Granada series of Sherlock holmes are true to the books and Jeremy Brett is an amazing portrayal they are a little dated and all available on itv x
This is one of the best ever episodes, made better by the performances of Sian Brooke. Really enjoyed your reaction... going to watch the full episode again now.
Speaking of "really good shows", Firefly would make a great reaction for you. It really doesn't seem like it would be your sort of thing, but you'd love it anyway I think, it's just that good?
the movies with robert downey jr are actually better than the series on the anlysis of his character do the 2009 version first, one of my favourite movies ever then a game of shadows which is just as good
@@mikedignum1868 What will you do when it breaks down? Are there still repairers willing to source the parts & fix it? Because I don't think there are shops selling new DVD players anymore.
@@EllieroseReacts yeah you cant be wearing white or off white colours cause then its like seeing a floating head did you not notice that when editing everything was ok with the plants around you it was just the colour of your top
I like how you’re enjoying these episodes instead of finding and focusing on [very few] faults

As you've enjoyed Sherlock this much I'd recommend a show called "Person Of Interest" :)
I love how she says the therapist that lives there wouldn't want blood on the carpet, while they're standing on a blood red carpet.

If you want another Sherlock rabbit hole to jump down, Elementary is a good depiction of a modern day Sherlock too!

Amen to all of that!❤
Heyy Ellie

So this is the order you should watch it in.
I shouldn’t do the others?

@hint1k I suggested the RDJ movies first
I also mentioned there are a bunch of old movies and shows, but it's easier to watch the recent ones first.
this show is one of the best to rewatch, i remember i kept watching the last episode for months after the show ended, you need to watch the last episode like right away
It's not a Sherlock-related work, but I wonder if you'd be interested in reacting to the Alex Rider series, based on the young adult spy books?
The OG books didn't have a sister but it was a nice adaptation they did here especially since the sister is batshit crazy
it is intresting the joy someone can feel when watching someone react to a series you love, cant wait for the finale!
I love Not Going Out!
Lee Mack is awesome. Sally Britton is wonderful.
goosebumps every time the reveal
what r we donna do with us self when its all done??? still asking myself that.
Like many others have commented, I love this episode and it stands out amongst the whole lot. Thanks for your reactions!
if you want to watch an old Sherlock Holmes movie, you can try The Hound of the Baskervilles with Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee
This was wild Ellie, great ending.
Eurus easily became my most favorite character. She's awesome.

You need to look at bleeders by blackveilbrides, production is off the scales, same with ronald from falling in reverse
This is one of the best episodes
this season is chef's kiss. I don't mind the haters of Moffat because they're all nitpicking twats.
The fact that John cheated on Mary was always the most ridiculous and stupid thing ever.
This is one of the best ever episodes, made better by the performances of Sian Brooke. Really enjoyed your reaction... going to watch the full episode again now.

Love your shocked facial expressions:)
Try ELEMENTARY for some alt-Sherlock Action. John Lee Miller as Holmes & Lucy Liu as Watson … better than I thought it would be. 😊
I want too but I cant find anywhere to screen record it
@@EllieroseReacts Amazon has the first season DVD box set for $11 … you could always resell it afterwards. 😉
@@StephenRansom47 can’t screen record it though
@@EllieroseReacts 😢 … you should watch it, though.
Sad that this is where Reaction Channels are heading - blocked.
This is the best episode of series 3 and 4.
This bad guys reminds me of Jimmy Savile.
Next, Bring Me The Horizon - Doomed live Royal Albert Hall

Another great Sherlock retelling is the tv show Elementary
