I love your reaction so fucking much, I can't even explain how much LOL It's like I'm watching all my thoughts be externalized when I wasn't brave enough to say all of them out loud LOL
I love coming into the Nicholas Galitzine Club! I watched this yesterday as soon as I had 2hrs to spare. I was kinda worried because I had heard about the ending of the book, which I haven't read, but I decided to give it a chance anyway because Nick was there and I love Anne Hathaway. I'm so happy I watched it because I really enjoyed it! I agree their chemistry is awesome. Anne said in an interview that Nicholas Galitzine could have chemistry with a lamp. I also read that she said to him that while they were researching the people who would audition, the one word that kept coming up about him was 'chemistry'. It obviously shows here and in the latest we've seen of Nick and how incredibly busy he's been in the last few years. Thanks for this reaction!!
Yeah I had heard a couple of things about the book but am so happy how the movie turned out. And god is he talented, she is right, he could have chemistry with anyone which is crazy amazing, I cant wait to see him in more and more things.
I couldn't agree more about Nick's amazing chemistry! I have watched almost all of the films/TV shows he has been in, and he has chemistry with ALL of his scene partners, lovers & otherwise. He is madly gifted, and it shows from his very first film, "The Beat Beneath My Feet." Actors/singers like him don't come along very often.👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
"Solené would have soooo married Hayes if he would have bought her a new fridge!"🤗🥰 Hayes is lucky Solené didn't pawn that watch for a new fridge!" - My 43yr old movie reaction
Thank you for your great reaction. I have read the book and it is a great adaptation of the book. There are slight differences which doesn't take away from the book and the movie stands very well on its own. It is always a treat to watch with you 😊
I'm starting to get a feel for the mannerisms and looks etc. that are purely "Nicholas" that come out in all his roles and I totally live for those! Aso getting to see him showcase his musical talents: the vocals, the dancing, the guitar, the piano- its a Nicholas Galentine box of chocolates. Oh...and the movie was nice too lol. Is it for sure hes straight? Cuz, his privats life is not out there at ALL. In my mind I see him as bisexual, cuz he could have ANYONE, nobody is saying no to that!
@@donnapoli2039 yes, always been obviously straight from his very first interviews aged 19. Like any upper class British boy, he doesn't make an issue of it, and always had the maturity to keep relationships and private life private. So simple and discreet an approach a lot of people just don't get it, especially Americans.
They are friends but even in the book Oliver was still a little bit of a prick, but then again Hayes also hooked up with Oliver’s sister and never told Oliver about it until his sister told him a few months prior so in a way it’s kinda like he’s seeing how far he can push him
Why I am I the only one that gets so much Julia Roberts Pretty Woman out of her performance? Esp the scene with the clamshell shut of of the laptop lol - also I gotta watch it again
You moght actually enjoy reading the book... The themes that they kind of just barely touch on in the movie about older women and their sexuality... they go into more depth in the book... Also they pretty much didn't adapt a SINGLE sex scene from the book which is really surprising I assumed that they would have adapted one or two of the scenes but they just...they didnt adapt ANY of them... And some of them were really good! Like they were scenes that I genuinely enjoyed reading... And I honestly can't say that for every straight romance I've ever read. The main character does focus on Hayes age pretty significantly which is kind of weird how FREQUENTLY it gets brought up in her inner monologue but... Other than that I did genuinely enjoy the spicier scenes in the book. Its like my only disappointment about this adaptation..none of the charater development sex scenes happened... I absolutely love that they changed the ending tho! The book does end differently and I fucking HATED it with a passion.
try Vik White for gorgeous. Had never heard of him til he appeared on a vid for this silly movie as one of the boys of the band. He's tiktok famous as a fantastic dancer.
Funny thing...I recognized him and couldnt figure out from where. When watching Anne and Nick interviews they said they formed the band with professional dancers. I looked up their names and as soon as I saw Viktor White I knew exactly who he was bc I follow him on TikTok. I remembered the spelling of Viktor. He usualy dances with partners on his own channel. He has UA-cam channel also.
I really enjoyed this film too. Sure, the two main leads would pass as mother and son rather than lovers, but it's still a good film. The ending, however, left me frustrated as it just ended with Hayes meeting Solène again after 5 years and they smiled at each other and then the screen went blank 😢.
I love the movie, but a few things I would change add up here🤔. The daughter has the emotional maturity of 12 years old not 16 actually and they should fight for their relationship. The break should be 3 years not 5 as Izzy would be in college already anyway. Also would be nice if they keeping touch during these years and added some drama during these years apart, showing their relationships during that time 🙂Also someone should put that ex-husband pr..ck into his place!! How dare he come to her home and lecture her on their relationship with the younger man! What a hypocrite, and use that awful words to her like screwing! WTF?!!
Hey Ethan are you in the UK or Australia? You are delightful - as an older single woman - the hypocrisy of older men and their "baby " girls and women who do the same - I can relate to this film. You are a funny guy - keep it up love.
Did you catch what Izzy told her mom about the 1 guy in that boy band she was crushing on? She thought they were starting a "thing" then he says - tell your mom I turn 18 today. You have to wonder ( if that had been a "real story ") - would he secretly have checked her out ? Alot can happed to a middle aged woman in 5 years. Grey brittle hair, wrinkles, dark age spots. weight gain- edema .cellulitis, varicose veins ... skin tags. Would she still be hot ?
Might be the most relatable reaction to Nick 😭😭😭😭😩😂😂😂
I'm not mad either
So glad you enjoyed :)

Loved the Movie!!. He is Amazing playing Straight or Gay.. the Chemistry with his partners is the exact same!!! You have to review PURPLE HEARTS 💜
Every gay guy and every straight female are in love with N.G. Plus some straight guys and gay women too!

Loved your reaction so much. I just subscribed.
Yay! Thank you!
The Intern is a good Anne Hathaway film too :)
one of my favorite movies
Nicholas Galitzine is the PAUL NEWMAN of our era.
So Agree with you..He's Amazing!! 😂❤
Loved the movie. Loved watching it again w you. ❤
Glad you enjoyed it!

Great movie. I watched it yesterday. I LOVE Nick Galitzine. Not fair that he's straight. BTW, Ethan, I'm loving your longer hair. Handsome and sexy! 🙂

Yeah lets me honesty he and Anne where why I was watching haha, but I am l glad I did cause the movie was super fun too
It's so odd how Eva wants to be besties with Solene. Like no honey. You do not get to steal my husband then except me to be friends.
that felt like it came out of nowhere, i was like what ?
It has nothing to do with sticking it out at mum's. At her dad's she doesn't have to deal with the paparazzi after an already shitty day. 34:36
Oh yeah i completely get it, I was just thinking if it were me, after hearing how he talked to her that morning, I wouldn't be happy with him

It’s worse in the books 😢 she gets death threats, and lots of artists stopped working with her bc of her relationship
I don't remember the death threat, need to go re visit the book again
