Thanks for existe dude, finally someone that actually likes star wars, in the star wars fandom, what a crazy concept lol Keep doing a great job, star wars and us the fans that still likes star wars needs you . ❤
@@clanbrandolorian we need to show that we still exists and Star Wars is more then a Bojack for the shit culture war. Star Wars is a fascinating work of art that create a sandbox for others artist play and create other fascinating works of art, this is the real legacy of George Lucas and his creation, not a platform to radicalize people.
@matheusfernandesdocarmo922 I couldn’t agree more.. some take it waaaaaaay too far, even to a personal scale. It’s entertainment, it means a lot to us because of how we relate to characters, or simply by just loving the story.
You know what they call killing off characters at the start of shows for no reason? dogshit writting. "steel or laser are no threat to them", when one literally died to a small knife. Actually the worst writting in any star wars thing yet to date which is pretty crazy considering how bad the sequels are. This screams that you came away thinking that the shit Holdo pulled with flying the ship into the other one at lightspeed was cool because it was "out of the box", when all it did was completely destroys all the lore ever created in SW.
I don’t think it narrows down to “shitty writing”. I sure couldn’t write a better story. It’s a different time in the timeline. Of course it’s going to be a little different. I don’t think Indara’s demise in the opening scene of The Acolyte has any comparison to Holdo and her sacrifice in The Last Jedi.
@clanbrandolorian then compare it to something like Joel's death in Last of us. He dies, and for some reason we are supposed to care about Abby before knowing anything about her. It is just shitty writing. That's all it is. Having events like people dying caused as a response to something that happened in the past that the viewer doesn't know just comes off as lazy. And that is being lenient with giving the show the benefit of the doubt that there even is a good reason for her to be going around killing jedi.
“steel or laser are no threat to them” was plural. The Sith meant Jedi as a whole… The Sith isn’t referring to the Jedi as a physical threat, which is why steel and lasers won’t affect them…
We can it "showing the audience what's at stake and how trained said person is" It'd only be bad writing is the character was established for more, but was killed off like that. We don't know the character. We have zero emotional stake in them. We just know what they are and how strong they're supposed to be.
I created this channel simply because I love Star Wars! I’m loving what we are getting. Is everything perfect? Not really. But why would I waste my time completely bashing something online? Eh, weird.
This show takes place in the timeline at a point with no consequences. No secret palp bloodlines, no retcons, just the chance to tell an interesting story about broken siblings in a point in time we've never seen on film. I don't get the hate
Technically there is a serious retcon in plain sight. The Palawan who's obese. Jedi are supposed to be mentally and physically trained. There is no way whatsoever that an obese padawan should exist. They're literally regimented. It would be like seeing an obese private in the army.. Surr someone might use what about the Hut Jedi.. well they're a Hut.. giant slug. Basically they don't seem to care about the source material if they make a mistake that noticeable.
Lightsabers have killed plenty of times. Daggers have also not killed plenty of times. However a saber or dagger straight to the heart, is almost always going to kill. Anyhoo, learn to think critically next time
@@Mr-R.R. ok, let's start this off, shall we? First of all, "Lightsabers don't kill" is a take on "Guns don't kill, rappers do" so it's tongue in cheek. I'm guessing from your response, you're perhaps American, so things like subtly just fly over your head. As for being constructive in criticism the show doesn't deserve more than infantile mocking - it's dumb through and through.

Thank you man. I appreciate the kind words. Glad to see another Star Wars fan keeping it civil! 🙌🏽❤️

Interesting opinion. I disagree.

Nice to see someone not just hating for the sake of it or because they have personal reason (ehem) for not liking it.

I couldn’t agree more. I just think it’s weird how it’s heavily hated after only two episodes. Doesn’t make sense.

Nah... Acolyte has terrible writing
How so?
Still waiting on you to tell us all how it has bad writing
episode 1-2 were bad. 3 is on a whole new level of dog shit.
This space Kung fu show sucked ass
Bro you too old to be collecting funkopops 💀
They got an age limit on them? 😂😂
It’s trash
It’s actually pretty good, in my opinion.
@@clanbrandolorian Maybe think about loosening your cap then...you know, get the blood flowing up there again.

Haven’t seen a payment yet!
