- COGNAC FRANCE - Today, I have stopped in the French port of La Rochelle. We visit the pretty little town of Saintes in France for a walking tour. This is a typical little French town but of course I have my eyes on the food. I stop for a French breakfast at a local boulangerie which makes artisan bread. I eat a delicious croissant and try a French baguette. After visiting Saintes we head to Cognac for a a tour at a distillery to learn how the famous French brandy, Cognac is made.

yeah, huge! but strangely when you are on it, it doesn't feel crowded or overbearing. Honestly, I think someone cursed me with rain, it is an inevitability wherever I go.
