Just watched this, thank you so much this is by far the best video I have ever seen on Cognac. I have a great passion for Cognac and Martell Cordon Bleu and XO are two of my favourite Cognac's that I drink at home. I am planning a trip to Cognac in April 2020 would it be possible to arrange a tasting at Martell and if you are there it would be fantastic to meet you even for a few minutes.

I aspire to apply my chemical engineering degree and produce my own brandy one day on the side of my dream job working in biopharmaceutical manufacturing. I'd also likely dabble in ale also. Thank you for the insightful video!
That is amazing to year. I wish you the best in your project. Do let me know once you create it. You can also follow my cognac/brandy account on Instagram @SimplyCognac
@@TonightsPoison Thank you very much sir for the well wishes and encouragement. I'm embarking on my year in industry placement so I'll have the time to produce my own ale and use my skills to continually improve the process. That should help me fortify strong foundations and basics in home brewing through understanding setting up a process practically as opposed to theoretically. Then after my masters year upon graduating I shall embark on this project and upgrade my equipment. So hopefully in two years time I'll remember to inform you on how I've got on. I shall certainly delve into your fantastic videos and gain as much knowledge as possible. That's quite incredible as I've already been following your account for some time now 😁 I was unaware that you had a UA-cam channel also 😊👍 Thank you I wish you all the best.
@@TonightsPoison Hi thanks for checking in on how things are going I really appreciate it. I wasn't able to start any brewing or distilling as I'm still renting and the landlords have forbidden it. However, life is progressing well. I'm still very much enjoying whisky and cognac and enjoying my career as an engineer. Perhaps in the next few years when I have my own place I can get cracking :) all the best and hope all is well with you.
Reggie Jackson hi buddy, I believe the house is not open to general public and is only open to people Affiliated in the alcohol industry like wholesalers and sales. However I know their facility in cognac itself where the original Dysteria it was built is open to public and anyone can go in and get a tour. It was actually the most informative place that I went to.
