you do realize this is one of the most highly rated currently running shows right? sure it might have the same views as it's origin, but it is very highly rated.
Really like that you support BCS, but it's not really an interesting theory. The show itself leads you in the direction that it's a mental illness and that it isn't real, but the real question is what causes him to act like this, that's the question that the series wants you to think about. At first it looked like Chuck acted this way because of Jimmy's actions as a lawyer, but in this season they revealed that it probably has something to do with Chuck's divorce.
Yeah, the character studies are fantastic. I suspect it's a combination of both his divorce (in his mind he probably sees this as a failing on his part, whereas we saw with the whole fake address situation that mentally he can't accept that he is fallible, so he manifests his failure in a condition that is outside his control and therefore something he can't be blamed for) coupled with his perception of the flawed Jimmy somehow being rewarded, even when his actions don't warrant it.
I only watched season 1 and thought this was pretty obvious with the hospital bed scene. Were people really still arguing about his condition after that?
What people really need to understand, as both an implication from the show and about mental illnesses like this, is that it can really by a big conglomeration of all of these things. Although this is not a scientific explanation, I can say anecdotally that everything really just hits you like a tidal wave. I have a lot of experience with psychosomatic conditions like panic attacks and severe anxiety, and I can tell you that there isn't always a really identifiable cause. Yes, Chuck is probably still stressed and affected by his divorce; Yes, Chuck is probably heavily affected by his rivalry with Jimmy; but, overall I feel the need to point out again that people are diving to deep into the wrong things. It does not really matter what the "cause" is. What matters is that the condition is fake, but Chuck THINKS it's real, and therefore does actually experience the symptoms that he describes, and also how this affects the relations of all the other characters.
I love how you're literally 3 years late and still didn't see the pinned comment from Matpat explaining this. And yes I'm replying to your 1 year old comment of you replying to a 4 year old video.
@@justinrazon7200 the pinned comment doesn't explain anything, there are several points before that episode that it is made clear chuck isn't sensitive around electricity, including a doctor that explains it to jimmy very early on. You dont even need sufficient media comprehension to understand this, the show outright tells the audience.
Personally, I think Chuck maybe developed this "condition" because of his ex-wife, she used to be on the phone most of the time and this caused disgust in Chuck about electronic devices, then it grew up to feel disgust in any kind of electricity. I thought about it when the three were having dinner and his girl started to talk on the phone ignoring him, and maybe this is why he started to hate electricity, because in some way in his perspective, it took away someone that was really close to him. I don't know, it's a possibility in my opinion.
At that point in the show, he actually already had the symptoms, he just didn't want to tell her. Good guess, but I don't think they'll ever explain how it started after what happened at the end of season 3.
Basic high school knowledge? Do you even know how low is the flux denisty of Earth's magnetic field? Negligible compared to any other artifical source.
Ok I didn't know how much it was, but I have a new question then. If it's just the brain making up the allergy. Then if you told them about the earths magnetic field or the brain synapse would they all the sudden start to feel it?
Because this is an actual thing. There are people who believe that they are sensitive to Electromagnetic Radiation and wifi. Experiments indicate that it is due to the Nocebo effect (think the placebo effect but bad). People who know someone who believes they are "allergic to electricity" and see the pain they are in are more likely to be convinced it is a real thing. He covered it because of debate stemming from this.
I feel what Chuck goes through, last year i was struggling with stress and i quickly discovered that I faint when I check my phone. So i stopped using electricity while outside of my house, but luckily i later discovered that having an incident and thinking that you are allergic to something can make you actually feel allergic.
the show really has to go somewhere if it's gonna have another season. compare the first three seasons of breaking bad to the first three seasons of better call saul. so much more character development and important events happen in breaking bad per season.
Why does it have to "go somewhere if it's gonna have another season"? Breaking Bad, while critically acclaimed to hell and back, didn't actually get good ratings until its FINAL season. Why should Better Call Saul be held to any higher of a standard? Better Call Saul is almost as critically loved as its predecessor, and every season (including Season 3) has actually had better ratings than the FIRST THREE SEASONS of Breaking Bad.
+Hessey Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould already said they are interested in exploring post-Breaking Bad Saul and what happens to him and that they think it's very likely we will get at least a full episode of post-BB Saul and possibly even a season. I think at least another 2 seasons are necesarry (season 4, Jimmy completely taking on his Saul persona and creating his office, wardrobe etc. and season 5 exploring his post-Breaking Bad life).
What your saying is very accurate. I had a anxiety disorder which when I was sixteen was so bad I wasn't able to leave my house for 6 months, I was really stressed and I was almost always completely convinced that I would have a heart attack among other diseases and I would constantly have all of the symptoms for heart attacks. Seeing Better Call Saul I could completely relate to how Chuck was feeling.
I had been meaning to watch better call Saul but when you made this video I went straight to it and binged the entire series just so I could watch this video
Hey MatPat, you should do a Film Theory on how Cars....cars reproduce. Are they made in a factory? Can cars have sex or something like that? Are there cars specialized in making other cars? If not, you should definitively try out this. How do cars get more speed? Do they train to get it? Or, are they built/born with speed parts?
relld05 Honestly these shows (Better Call Saul, Breaking Bad) are meant to be binge watched. I loved Breaking Bad but if I had watched it while it was airing I would have lost interest. Same with BCS. Loved the first to seasons but watching 1 ep every week for Season 3 feels more like a chore. Everytime an episode ends I ask myself "Is that it?".
like every single video he has ever made. no idea what some of the things are or really don't care to play it, just want to see how matpat can make it 30x times more awesome.
Maddie Odinson I'm subscribed to MatPat and I usually don't watch his other videos because I haven't seen the Show/Movie/Game at all or to ignore spoilers. But that's interesting how you just watch whatever he posts despite if you have seen it or not. Also YOU NEED TO WATCH BREAKING BAD AND BETTER CALL SAUL NOW! Sometimes I will do that but sometimes I don't when it's a science theory. Also when he practically admits the show is boring and pretentious in the opening.... it's a hard sell.
Mcrey Fonacier yooo same! Breaking bad was great because of how intense it could get but Better call saul really gets into depth on all these characters. It's soo good
Aslonz show writers view piracy numbers so that they know how many people watch their show. It’s all in his head. Chuck legitimately thinks he is allergic to electricity but as the series has proven, it doesn’t effect him if he doesn’t know it’s there. Just my theory.
i know people who have been tested including myself, who can feel those fields. it's not rocket science. not is it a hallucination, it is an invisible field, like nuclear x-ray attacking living organisms. people have no idea. look up 5G wifi or HAARP in alaska
@@OnsideHaddock72 the reality is not like the show. they exaggerate some things in the show, but if chuck was as sensitive as he claimed, he would have felt the battery, i think the writer wrote the twist into the show to switch the plot. EMF aggravates and magnifies other conditions in the body, like nerve pain, or brain tumours. also the affect is cumulative, it is not instant like a taser, it depends in the individual and their resilience to EMF. the conditions are level of EMF, proximity to the signal and duration of exposure. sleeping in a high close field 8 hours a night, would make many ill within 3 months
John Doe believe it or not im at the bleeding edge of magnetic research, can you feel the vibrations or wavelengths? Can you describe any strange sensation in the back of your skull?
I guess people just want the intense action of Breaking Bad... It's a shame though, personally I think Better Call Saul is just as good, if not better. Just a very different show.
Josh Gray It really isn't though, it's a great show, and a few people got disappointed because it isn't breaking bad (which is kind of the point), but the show has gained a ton of awards and has a lot better of fans that really like it.
It is fascinating watching how Jimmy becomes Saul over time. This show is right up there with Breaking Bad, Lie to Me, and Firefly in entertainment value.
You might want to put a spoiler warning infront of your comment dude, glad I didn't watch this vid and didn't read the comments until I watched the whole season 3.
CheatyTycoon 2 because he was right beside the source of the fire, he didn't seem to be in any fit state to quickly move and also he has no fire alarms because he disconnected his electricity... Only logical
Anything involving psychosomatism (to coin a term, apparently) is fascinating. It's just amazing what the brain can do, both when commanded to and of its own accord.
Tyler Troutman I know it seems like kind of half assed theory. They could of done on how Salamanca will have his stroke i mean signs are pointing to the pills but you never know.
I'm about positive that the exact phrase "psychosomatic" was used...so....happy Mat seemed to have fun researching for this video, but it's all info that was specifically spelled out in the show.
Tyler Troutman yeah...it's kind of the most obvious point on the entire series. chuck is crazy because he thinks he is actually physically harmed by electricity even though that is an impossible disorder. that's the whole reason he's sick, ya dingus
You clearly didn't watch the video, and only read the title which was indeed 'answered' by the show. MatPat's theory is that the person has a nocebo effect, not that he's faking it on purpose, nor that he actually has allergic reactions to electricity. Nothing in the show suggests this upfront.
SacredYinZekrom Are you for real? It has been clearly implied when Chuck was in the hospital that his condition is psychological. No one assumes he his lying, only some people wonder if it's really physical I guess, but the doctor proved in a previous season what Jimmy proved with the battery.
Matpat, could you do a Film Theory on how Ridley Scott's xenomorph aliens grow so quickly from embryo to chestburster to full adult? Like is there a real scientific explanation for putting on so much mass or are they like Ant-Man?
between the frying pans being bullet proof to the sparking cloud that forces confrontations(by closing in and restricting where people in a hunger games type of contest can go, not by being a magic rage-inducing thing, though I can see it pissing off players) I'd say there's content to make a theory about, and I don't even play the damn thing.
This show is the ultimate bow on the Christmas present that was breaking bad. I don’t think I’ll ever find another series of shows that made me feel this way.
Like, i'm sorry this was a nice video, but you always get the impression since episode 1 that his disease wasn't real and it was a psychological problem, this isn't like breaking news xd.
Exactly, I'd be more surprised if more than a handful of people watching past the first few episodes actually believed the condition was real, whereas the theory video seems to give out the idea that the majority of people were in any kind of doubt. It's patently clear that even the other characters in the show who are sympathetic to Chuck's condition (Jimmy, Howard, Kim, etc) don't really believe in the condition, they know it's psychosomatic, but they play along because they know that to Chuck it's real and they don't want to exacerbate his suffering. This is evidenced by the hospital scene, in which Jimmy clearly isn't shocked or even mildly surprised when the doctor switches the electric bed on and Chuck doesn't react. The characters in the show know it's not real, the people watching the show know it's not real. All this video seems to do is demonise the mentally ill by suggesting in the title that they are LYING when they exhibit the symptoms of their mental condition, which is pretty harsh (especially since the title seems to be in direct opposition to the video itself, which acknowledges that Chuck does feel real pain when his brain perceives electricity, but a lot of people will just take away that the mentally ill = liars, which sucks).
What? He literally said in the beginning that he could get more ad revenue by doing a different theory. How is this for easy money? He wanted to do it, and even if it's obvious, you probably learned something, right?
I think Chuck just had high anxiety and panic attacks. No one wants to admit they hate their brother but whenever Jimmy’s doing good that’s when Chuck’s allergies start acting up. It almost feels like he’s subconsciously trying to get Jimmy to take care of him so he can have everyone feel sorry for him
GUYS! He said multiple times that he'll do it when the channel gets 5 million subs! So it will come a lot faster if you stop yelling at him and get all your friends to subscribe!
Chuck seems to have an anxiety disorder but it manifests in a strange way. You ever notice that the more stress Chuck is under, the more severe the symptoms he experiences become? That's why the exit sign begins affecting him more after his outburst in the courtroom.
TLDR; No, he cant be allergic to electricity. If he was, hi brain would cause you constant life long symptoms because your brain produces electrical current. He's ALWAYS be in agony. What he has is a psychosomatic illness brought on the technophobia and the nocebo effect (that's a placebo that causes harm).
Man I’m glad I’m not the only one who was jumping out their seat during that episode. I absolutely love this show and I’m glad you recognize the masterpiece. This is truly art!
Here's my theory: MattPatt knew that it was obvious to people that the condition was psychosomatic, and he knew that people are going to point that out in the comments as they are doing, but this video was still made, because MattPatt loves BCS, and is lowkey trying to increase its viewer rating so that we can get a season 4. BUT REMEMBER THAT'S JU.. I'll stop.
Low-key? He specifically says that's what he wants in the beginning of the video.....and then, again, he tells everyone to go watch it at the end. That's like saying 9-11 was low-key terrorism. I'm sick of all these fucking buzz words that people over-use so much that they forget what they actually mean.
In the first couple episodes they make it pretty obvious it's in his head when they show him feel better after Jimmy assures him he wasn't doing anything wrong. It's clearly linked to the stress brought on by Jimmy, plenty of stuff foreshadowing that and outright stating that leading up to this moment. You'd have to be pretty slow to not catch on.
I was told years ago when I reported to a nurse things that were happening to me that someone could develop sensitivity to electricity and require a Faraday cage, but, having only seen the first season of Better Call Saul, my impression was that they were portraying Chuck's problem as symptomatic of a degree of mental illness, or psychosomatic, hypochondriac symptoms anyway, with it possibly having come about by way of stress and anxiety about Jimmy becoming a lawyer.
It’s a mental condition, not a physical one; this has been discussed and hinted at in many episodes from the first 3 seasons and I figured it was kinda obvious. Like when the doctor turns on some machine while Chuck is sitting in the chair and he doesn’t notice, so Jimmy has to decide whether or not to commit him to psychotherapy
So many negative comments on this video. Even if they show covered some of the explanation, I think it's interesting to learn about the different real life tests and experiments done to test this theory. I'm still impressed with FT content and the amount of time they use researching theories.
To quote a comment prior that's been posted in here: 'This video literally has no purpose because if you watched the show, you would know that it is just the nocebo affect. This channel is for 'theories', this isn't a theory cause it's known within the show. I guess this episode is pointless, sorry.'
Zohend Rey Zero Scyrus why research random, unrelated topics on your own, when you can watch research about, be it correct or wrong, by a youtuber that you like watching?
I got this back in season 1. I thought everyone did. I was pretty shocked seeing that people on the internet were freaking out about the battery scene saying it was a mistake. But I love how you did so much research on it.
I feel like if the writers of the show saw this their reaction would "uhh yeah. Jeez did we not make that obvious enough that Film Theory had to come crack the case?"
Did ANYONE not already know this? They are 100% upfront about this in the show. I'm a psychologist, but I would have caught on to this even as a layman.
I am a complete layman but I never for one second thought it was anything but psychological. Or the show tried to portrait it as anything but that. I think they have been as clear about it as you can without having one of the characters directly say: "It's a psychological disorder". And psychologist or not, all the conversations with the doctor about him alone is a pretty big hint.
I really hate how matpat gets so much hate when he clearly loves this show. I mean, he took time out of his day to read 182 pages of something COMPLETLY BORING just so that w viewers can be entertained. For fun. I really like that about Mat. So just take time to appreciate this wonderful person and the wonderful content he produces. You have truly earned not a clap and a half, but 2 CLAPS, for your awesomeness. Thank you
PotatoGames He's not getting hate at all for this video; many people, myself included are merely pitiful towards him and the fact that he wasted time and sleep making a theory about something more or less confirmed, making the theory obsolete. His Until Dawn theory also suffers from the same problem; it's pretty much confirmed, so he wasted his time for nothing.
Monday Green - Hate is not for this video but in others. Like the Undertale videos. He's got a lot of hate from those, so I was saying that it is very sad that he gets that hate because he's such a good person. and also he's making those theories either before it's been confirmed, or that he doesn't know. Like when he used ditto's absence as a critical piece of evidence in his Pokémon video but it was added into the game after he made the video. He really is a good person, he did the best he could to produce a video that everyone enjoyed.
Another theory specifically tying into the psychosomatic part is that Chuck has a conversion disorder, a natural fear of something that can’t be explained by science
This show has now ended and I was shocked to hear it underperformed in it's first few seasons. Because all I have been hearing lately is how it's one of the best shows to ever grace the airwaves.
bruh this isn't a theory, this was literally the whole point of that scene and the whole point of the end of season 3. Confused by how this is a theory
@@Athiax. Even before then, a simple google search of his disorder could have been done within the first five episodes. A google search of "allergy to electricity" results in the wiki page for Electromagnetic Hypersensitivity, and it doesn't take but reading the first two sentences to see that this is a phony disease. This is the reason so many people hate game theory nowadays; He does very, very little research and tries to make garbage theories out of it.
It’s what’s called the “nocebo effect” similar to the placebo but heightened to an insane degree. Chuck thinks he has this disease so his brain makes his body react appropriately to what he thinks will happen to him

Radix I figured it out the first few minutes of the video, that it was all in his head.
Better Call Saul is one of my favorite series I've ever watched.

It really is a good show.
I've never heard of it...

I love how you explained what was already explained in the show. Chuck had a psychosomatic disorder. He believed it is real and it seemed real to him.

@@gavinbarker6602 he already had them during that flashback, but that doesn’t mean it’s not a repeated behaviour from her

Well there's also a giant electro magnetic field that the world emits... so if it was truly a medical condition then he'd always be in pain.
E Miner Man thank you! I was hoping someone else had noticed this in the comments. It's basic high school or even middle school science.
Basic high school knowledge? Do you even know how low is the flux denisty of Earth's magnetic field? Negligible compared to any other artifical source.
Doesn't the human brain generate electric currents to? That's what I kept thinking on this one.
Yes but the current is very low as well: "at a synapse, a "typical" response might only be a few pA"
Ok I didn't know how much it was, but I have a new question then. If it's just the brain making up the allergy. Then if you told them about the earths magnetic field or the brain synapse would they all the sudden start to feel it?
Why even the question? The show never tried to convince us that it were real. The opposite is rather the case.

Wait, so you're telling me there's a big possibility that we might not get a season 4 for Better Call Saul?? WHAT IN THE ACTUAL FUCK!!
the show really has to go somewhere if it's gonna have another season. compare the first three seasons of breaking bad to the first three seasons of better call saul. so much more character development and important events happen in breaking bad per season.
we better get a season 4 are you kidding me? season 3 was the best yet lol people LOVE IT
Why does it have to "go somewhere if it's gonna have another season"? Breaking Bad, while critically acclaimed to hell and back, didn't actually get good ratings until its FINAL season. Why should Better Call Saul be held to any higher of a standard? Better Call Saul is almost as critically loved as its predecessor, and every season (including Season 3) has actually had better ratings than the FIRST THREE SEASONS of Breaking Bad.
Dexter Morgan tonight's the night
+Hessey Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould already said they are interested in exploring post-Breaking Bad Saul and what happens to him and that they think it's very likely we will get at least a full episode of post-BB Saul and possibly even a season. I think at least another 2 seasons are necesarry (season 4, Jimmy completely taking on his Saul persona and creating his office, wardrobe etc. and season 5 exploring his post-Breaking Bad life).
I love better call saul and I think it's extremely underrated
Best show in the world right now.
The GoldenNinja I love it's slower more realistic tone. It really gets you invested in the characters.
I don't know about that, but it's certainly a fantastic show!! Fargo is also incredibly underrated :(

Rafael Fernández tf
Isn't that gonna be a bit covered in cars 3?
Damn, this is one of the best shows on television, had no idea it was slipping in ratings
relld05 slippin jimmy at it again
relld05 Honestly these shows (Better Call Saul, Breaking Bad) are meant to be binge watched. I loved Breaking Bad but if I had watched it while it was airing I would have lost interest. Same with BCS. Loved the first to seasons but watching 1 ep every week for Season 3 feels more like a chore. Everytime an episode ends I ask myself "Is that it?".
relld05 It still has strong ratings
Yea I didn't know either. I watch this show every Monday!

Just your theory? Your an idiot james put a battery in his pocket
"just my theory" it's literally what he says in the video
Better call Saul is awesome! I didn't realise it was so hated?
I guess people just want the intense action of Breaking Bad... It's a shame though, personally I think Better Call Saul is just as good, if not better. Just a very different show.
Josh Gray It really isn't though, it's a great show, and a few people got disappointed because it isn't breaking bad (which is kind of the point), but the show has gained a ton of awards and has a lot better of fans that really like it.
It's not hated, just not as many people watch it.
It is fascinating watching how Jimmy becomes Saul over time. This show is right up there with Breaking Bad, Lie to Me, and Firefly in entertainment value.
Better call saul is only hated by people who never watched breaking bad

Wow ¶:
Chuck, when he realizes the human body, conducts electrical currents: "ÆÆÆÆÆÆÆÆÆÆÆÆÆÆÆÆÆÆÆÆÆÆÆ"
No offense Mat, but we already knew the disorder was phony, they pretty much said it in the show.
Tyler Troutman I know it seems like kind of half assed theory. They could of done on how Salamanca will have his stroke i mean signs are pointing to the pills but you never know.
Tyler Troutman It is not fake it's just a mental disorder not physical wish mattpat made that portion clearer.
I'm about positive that the exact phrase "psychosomatic" was used...so....happy Mat seemed to have fun researching for this video, but it's all info that was specifically spelled out in the show.
Never said it was half assed, it's a good episode whether or not we already knew this. It's also gonna be awesome for those still in Season 1
Tyler Troutman yeah...it's kind of the most obvious point on the entire series. chuck is crazy because he thinks he is actually physically harmed by electricity even though that is an impossible disorder. that's the whole reason he's sick, ya dingus
I think your "conclusion" is something the show blatantly try to tells us, did anyone actually think he was straight up lying? lmao
I understand what you are saying, but I'm confused about your last question. Shouldn't it be a "didn't" there?
RumbaChuck I'm pretty sure he blatantly told us the reason he made this video in the first minute
RumbaChuck I agree like he showed I. The first season we learn that it's fake
Matpat, could you do a Film Theory on how Ridley Scott's xenomorph aliens grow so quickly from embryo to chestburster to full adult? Like is there a real scientific explanation for putting on so much mass or are they like Ant-Man?
Also is there a Game Theory coming out for Player Unknown's Battlegrounds?
What is there even to do about that game? It's no story or anything just a copy of another game without anything of their own really.
between the frying pans being bullet proof to the sparking cloud that forces confrontations(by closing in and restricting where people in a hunger games type of contest can go, not by being a magic rage-inducing thing, though I can see it pissing off players) I'd say there's content to make a theory about, and I don't even play the damn thing.
This show is the ultimate bow on the Christmas present that was breaking bad. I don’t think I’ll ever find another series of shows that made me feel this way.
The show is amazing, so is the acting, shame its not more popular :(
Van-Life Crisis People are expecting Breaking Bad #2. That's the problem.
A Chicago sunroof is when you take a dump through the sunroof of a car
TIL lol
Like, i'm sorry this was a nice video, but you always get the impression since episode 1 that his disease wasn't real and it was a psychological problem, this isn't like breaking news xd.
It's not breaking news because it's Breaking Bad
All this video seems to do is demonise the mentally ill by suggesting in the title that they are LYING when they exhibit the symptoms of their mental condition, which is pretty harsh (especially since the title seems to be in direct opposition to the video itself, which acknowledges that Chuck does feel real pain when his brain perceives electricity, but a lot of people will just take away that the mentally ill = liars, which sucks).
the theory is a shit video for easy money. it's like making a theory that ice cream is cold.
sorry matpat but everyone already knew that...
"breaking (bad) news"
It almost feels like he’s subconsciously trying to get Jimmy to take care of him so he can have everyone feel sorry for him
Matpat should do what's going on in over the graden wall

mroriona2 YES. DO IT NOW MATPAT
Chuck seems to have an anxiety disorder but it manifests in a strange way. You ever notice that the more stress Chuck is under, the more severe the symptoms he experiences become? That's why the exit sign begins affecting him more after his outburst in the courtroom.
Am I the only one who gets really disappointed when matpat isn't the narrator of an episode, and in turn grts over excited when he is
Same for me
TLDR; No, he cant be allergic to electricity.
The intro about Better Call Saul not being popular is incredibly jarring in hindsight
I'll stop.
I agree
Genius!
Low-key? He specifically says that's what he wants in the beginning of the video.....and then, again, he tells everyone to go watch it at the end. That's like saying 9-11 was low-key terrorism.
I'm sick of all these fucking buzz words that people over-use so much that they forget what they actually mean.
A COMMENTER'S THEORY
AAAAAND POST
whoa, okay, you don't need to write an entire essay about why you shouldn't use the term "low-key"
I hate it when my sorry ass is behind in a series so I'll have to add this to my watch later list

Lol yeah it was confirmed in season 1 and reconfirmed in season 3 and hinted at like 20 times in between. Who is this video even for?
Did ANYONE not already know this? They are 100% upfront about this in the show. I'm a psychologist, but I would have caught on to this even as a layman.
I know, right
Talus Tanat How would you know what you could or would've caught with less training and experience?
how do you know that? lol
Logan Smith I have no interest nor experience in psychology, yet as soon as Chuck mentioned his "hypersensitivity", I knew it was a phony disorder.
PotatoGames The theory was explained in the god damn show it's nothing new. He just pretending he did research

Redik if u think that your UA-cam channel is so good get lost u are not needed here
MatPat + Super Carlin Bros = Great vid. + Seamus Gorman = Awesome Vid.
Another theory specifically tying into the psychosomatic part is that Chuck has a conversion disorder, a natural fear of something that can’t be explained by science
3:15 "difficulty breating"
I see it might also cause mild dislexia
Matt Williams Irony
someone that wants to put out quality content does XD I'm sure Mat himself does.
Apparently it spreads dyslexia to Matt Williams too.
Matt Williams dyslexia
Kurenai Satoshi lol
3:14 you put breating instead of breathing
Rusty Infinity hahahahahahaaahahaha
Rusty Infinity I was just waiting for someone to mention it that
ok
Rusty Infinity who cares?
Rusty Infinity I'm glad I'm not the only one that noticed that
I'm happy to see other people recognize that this show is amazing and deserves to be watched.
This show has now ended and I was shocked to hear it underperformed in it's first few seasons. Because all I have been hearing lately is how it's one of the best shows to ever grace the airwaves.
Metal Gear solid theory please
Constantin Becker
what exactly? the high frequency blades? metal gear? nanomachines?
Sorry could you explain that? Im not that deep into metal gear...
+Constantin Becker You're asking from the wrong channel, you impatient dunce
Mister Boot
oh alright but why do you want to know if he is human?
Mister Boot
oh :) alright lol.
YO THEY USED BETTER CALL SAUL THEME BEFORE IT WAS FUNNY
Indeed
"i wonder how dangerous he becomes once he is cured" aaaaand he killed himself
"Who knows how threatening he'll become to our hero Jimmy"
Chuck fucking kills himself
bruh this isn't a theory, this was literally the whole point of that scene and the whole point of the end of season 3. Confused by how this is a theory
smartcow360 you clearly didn't read his pinned comment
No matter how many times I see it, Chucks head hitting the desk when he collapses is sickening. He was a prick but its hard to watch.
He hits his head the same way Howard does
5:28 "this character and where he is heading to next 😏"... Oh no Matty boy :(
I thought the same
Lantern was a fire episode ngl 🔥
It’s what’s called the “nocebo effect” similar to the placebo but heightened to an insane degree. Chuck thinks he has this disease so his brain makes his body react appropriately to what he thinks will happen to him
