Epic thing but I must admit to wondering when seeing S3 with so many upgrades why not go for the RS3 surely it'd be cost effective bearing in mind what's been spent up to this point 🤔

@@welshmonsterhunter7028 main things are the engine (2.5 5 cylinder 400hp compared to 2.0 4 cylinder 300hp) and the differential on the rear axle. There’s other little bits and pieces but that’s the main differences

Did he say 100% of the power can be sent to the rear wheels, not with the Haldex system you can't?
I'm open to correction but I'm pretty sure its at best a 50 50 split
On the RS3 8v you can so maybe he is correct
@@Michael-yz4mc No, the golf R and Rs3 8Y have the new AWD system that isnt haldex that does that, this S3 still uses old haldex
It's a 50 50 split but on the rs3 8y it's still a 50 50 split but 100% of that can be distributed to either wheel
Its 100% of the 50% on a single back wheel (total 50% of crankshaft output to rear axle)
@@jackhavard2312 I had the Golf 8R. It can only send upto 50% power to the rear wheels and then the rear axle can send Upto 100% of that power to either wheel at the rear. 👍. It's a great system.

I have been hating on the new s3 since it had come out looking like an ugly duckling from the factory but the customs available can really make it stand out .. very impressively done
love what youve done to the car, but dude, wtf is that roof liner, even when they come from factory in a Bentleigh etc. its so tacky.

I think the S3 is a underrated sleeper car. 300hp with 2.0 engine. Easy and cheap to maintenance.

The Steering Wheel is on the wrong side!
Correction, Haldex system sends 50% of the power to the read wheels and locks the differential as one fixed unit.
The new system on the RS3 and Golf R sends 50% to the rear and of that 50 can send 100% to one wheel.
None of the systems, new or old, sends more than 50% to the rear at any time.
Improvements are in reaction time and power distribution.

In all honesty though, if you're gonna invest that much into the car, why not start off with the RS3 over the S3?
I just got an S3 a couple of days back myself and i absolutely love it, but the reason i got an S3 is because the extra money for an RS3 is just too steep, and not really worth it imho.
But you've clearly gone all out with the mods and spent quite a bit of extra cash, so honestly, why not just start off with the RS3, get the 5 cylinder engine, and take it from there?
no way it makes 475bhp without new turbo sorry, even MRC states on his own website that stage 2 makes in best case scenario 450bhp
