Sir I have the SX ivt variant. It's not giving me that much mileage in moderate stop and go traffic..I am getting 10-12 in city. Sometimes it's touches 15-16 as per the dashboard. Its a clear promotional video of Verna. How can you say Verna is safer than Virtus. For Verna the foot well area and body-shell were both assessed as unstable, with the body-shell lacking the capability to withstand additional loads when assessed by GNCAP. So body-shell integrity of Verna is unstable. You clearly forgot to mention this critical point . Also mileage is better in Virtus 1.0L than Verna. I expected transparency from you @askcarguru

Thanks for this comparison Amit Ji. Aapke videos really insightful hote hain. Mene lagbhag 5K chalaya hai Verna S Model ko and as you said .. special scenarios mein 30 ka mileage nikala hai. Inside comfort is really great. Drive itna smooth hota hai ki 11 hour drive bhi draining nahi hai.

New Verna's interior looks very basic in comparison to any other car even from one segment below.
Verna looks like a tublight running on road. No doubt it has more features but Virtus has practical features. ADAS is not successful in India so its a waste, recently there was honda city crash due to ADAS. Ac of Virtus seems to be a hassle in the beginning but it is friendly and you get used to it. Germans are machines and koreans are toys. One who buys hyundai can only stick to hyundai and maruti. You should have compared 1.5 GT to have apple to apple comparision, being 1.0 TC AT still virtus performs well with the engine
