Its not what you eat it's what you absorb. I've been on wheat belly for 11 weeks now, lost 57 lbs! But it's not just about the weight it's about feeling better. This is not a diet, it's a lifestyle.
@@OneTruth95 If he's indian then you should know that indians eat whole wheat chapatis or tortillas with some veggy/curry. so he's talking about that wheat. in US, i think everything is either refined wheat burgers, cookies, crackers, bread etc. so you have to remove anything that is bread. eat that is green and organic meat
Week three starts Monday....everything means something, it was all because i had a bagel in America and a day later i was in agony!! Put me of wheat for life! They have that for breakfast every day!
So true, I can relate to confusion and food obsession. Wheat is not properly digested in my body. I'm always bloated and want to eat ore to "get rid" of it. I know it was so easy for me to eat and I didnt have obsession eating mainly raw foods plus some protein, and what happened was after few days, grains were not appealing at all. Just fresh stuff and protein, go figure, that's what body needs!
The Elimination Diet in the JUICING FOR LIFE book in the '80s helped me identify food intolerances -- lost 50 lbs so easily. So I kept going and tried to change what I put in and on me. Last year I lost over 70 lbs, am near ideal weight, & after a lifetime of quite serious health problems, I'm pretty ok & take practically no meds, ever. I'm gluten intolerant, & have found that toiletries & harsh cleaners also cause problems. I like the Kniepp Method -- cold water. Boosts the immune system.
After years of trying to lose weight, I finally cut out all meat and dairy, and eat mainly the things he says raise your blood sugar and make you fat (non-GMO wheat, rice, and other whole grains), and vegetables (no meat, dairy, or oil). My blood sugar is now LOWER. After I saw I was losing weight, I had my wife take a picture of my belly from the side. In a few months, I'll have her take another. Above the two, I'll place "Meat Belly -- Wheat Belly" A high protein, high-fat diet is TOXIC.
Dear sir, I am from and I would wish to know whether the wheat produced in our country is as dangerous as the wheat grown in US which is genetically modified as u said, and sir i am from southern part of India and we are primarily based on rice diet so pls tell me should I avoid rice too since it's grain based food too.
I do the ketogenic thing. I'm vegan. There's nothing inherently unhealthy about fats- there's tons that's inherently unhealthy about animal-based ones. :)
You just have to change your meal types to include more vegtables, Fruits, Eggs, Meats, Fish. For example eat fruit for Breakfasts, At lunch have a salad and at dinner have roast vegetable with pork. And in between this you can eat fruit, nuts and Health bars that you make up out of nuts and seed. If you do not all of this you will have no space for the likes of wheat and eat as much as you like of this food do not feel guilty. I have meat in the fridge for stacks along with nuts and fruits. At first you may find your self eating lots of these foods but over time you will start to reduce the amount as the fiber begins to full you up. You just need to make a lifestyle choice or you will just continue with the Wheat.
@@RobertWadlow292 Much less than wheat. He says the starches in some processed foods have been replaced with rice starch. The best diet he says is to replace wheat products in your diet with natural foods, not processed foods.
Just like I would never take financial advice from someone who is broke, I would never take diet advice from someone who is out of shape. Durianrider on the other hand...
Slimmer than the average American, also skinny people could technically have a lot of triglycerides in their blood. He probably doesn’t. Triglycerides are mainly caused by HRCs.

+JAY Richards I so agree everything effects on your diet and our lifestyles.
Rice allowed ?
Yes it is but about the size of your fist
Everyone is on A diet.
He deserves a medal for this speech, he absolutely smashed it. I guess Wheat is not fogging this man's brain that's for sure.
God bless this man! I stopped eating flour for Passover a few days ago, and I’m already down a few lbs! Just wow! 🎉🎉🎉

This guy is a genius!! So right. He changed my life 8 yrs ago when i saw his program on pbs!! Bless his soul!!
This is real, I cut off wheat and I went for 75kg obesity to 55kg and optimal health. Wheat is one of the biggest killers

Dr Davis is a genius! Should be a viral video.
That was good and concise, love this man! God Bless Dr. Davis in the name of Jesus!
I love this mans humility. Such an important book.

The glycemic index of Wheat is horrific, dangerous. Joint pain is gone for me and arthritis is a done deal.
Watched this for 2 minutes and I like the guy
NO MORE WHEAT OR GRAINS FOR ME
Awesome book!

Oh hey! Dr. Davis is in town?! Love to get him to sign my book!
I went wheat-free in 2014. Much better 12% of prior body weight weight loss.

This is real; lose the IBS; lose the diabetes; lose the tooth decay....and lose the weight
If you say it, it must be so, especially if you say it in all caps. That's certainly better than all the science and real-life observations.

Thank you, I like how at least one person has the common sense to see that unprocessed carbs are the greatest health food
100%%%% TRUE!!
Thankyou for this video... I eat wheat bread everyday and cant get rid of this belly fat.
I run 3 miles every other day.
Did you "lose the wheat" and lose the weight?

Rice is much more healthy than wheat. Asian people mainly eat rice, and theyare a lot slimmer and healthier than wheat-eating americans.
00:50 Thats probably because table sugar is half fructose which stimulates no insulin. So, not really a good comparison.
What about belly bloating? Help!!!
no he said that your bloodsugar gets higher by two slices of bread than by 16 tb of sugar.
Long live Paleo!!!

How do you guys give up on pasta :( and no corn pasta etc doesnt work

Many people report that their carb cravings vanish after being on this diet for a while
2 slices of bread = 16 table spoons of sugar? :O Will cut wheat out for 2-weeks stating today and see what happens
Rice allowed ?
Not generally because he says it apparently has hazards of its own
@@RobertWadlow292 Much less than wheat. He says the starches in some processed foods have been replaced with rice starch. The best diet he says is to replace wheat products in your diet with natural foods, not processed foods.
Rice is seeds of grass and spikes your blood sugar. It’s cheap slave/chicken food.

He is not fat.
He is not super lean like you hero Durianrider but so what. Not everybody wants this look.
2 slices of bread does not have 16 tbsps of sugar, more like.. 3.
he didn't say nothing of that. He said that 2 slices of bread HAS A GLYCEMIC INDEX HIGHER than sugar.
Hmm ... another guy with a double chin telling us not to eat carbs. What should I make of this pattern?
LOL. I hear you. He's the exception to the rule though.
Because he himself eat carbs😅
steel cut oats ok?
Not for his diet, no
Better than instant, but will spike your blood sugar and cause insulin resistance.
he said 6...not 16
How come William Davis has problems with his weight? He must eat too much wheat!
He’s not fat at all! :(
He looks like he could use losing 30 pounds himself.
Slimmer than the average American, also skinny people could technically have a lot of triglycerides in their blood. He probably doesn’t.
Triglycerides are mainly caused by HRCs.
