Here's the full opening them from the anime Baccano! Enjoy all! ^^ [EDIT] WHOA!! THIS HAS MADE IT TO 1 MILLION VIEWS?! Thanks everyone! You guys are so awesome!!
Baccano is a great example of how to make characters that are insane in some ways yet somehow likeable at the same time. The storytelling is superb and the english dub has to be one of the best I've ever heard
A boy in high school gave me the box set of Baccano! as a gift and I have never been able to erase the sheer enjoyment this anime gave me... Firo, Ladd, Chane, Claire, the Gandor brothers... I love it all! And the OST is incredible. I'll never forget this amazing OP.
One of my favourite anime of all time. Wasn't impressed upon first watch, couldn't even finish Ep1. Now I love it, so much. I would be so happy to see this anime come back, same legendary opening and all. If that happened I would actually cry happy tears.
The only animes that I've watched that have Jazz themes: 1. Lupin III(the theme) 2. Cowboy Bebop(Tank!) 3. Baccano-Guns and Roses And Detective Conan had some nice jazz ost, especially the main theme
+Guy Guino well, drrr is more popular so it only makes sense for it to have more episodes. even though drrr is one of my most faves of all time, baccano is still better, in my opinion.
My favorite opening theme of all time, from any medium. More than anything else, this tune is the reason I return to Baccano for a rewatch every few months. One of the prime examples of: "They don't make 'em like they used to."
IMO this show is better than Durarara. While Durarara has heaps of great, deep characters like Baccono, I can't stop seeing Ryugamine and maybe Celty as the two MAIN characters, whereas in Baccano I felt like there was no clear main character. Plus, Baccano has this crazy unique feel to it that really sets it apart from so many other animes and makes it so refreshing and interesting to watch. Maybe it's the awesome 30s USA setting that does it. Either way, both shows are fantastic and I hope this one gets a second season. I NEED MORE ISAAC AND MIRIA!!!
everyone loves the classic US, starts at roaring 20's up to 50's. This generations is still not outfashioned and outdated to thid day. And I would agree with the uniqueness of Baccano. everyone have equal focus whereas in durrr they focused more on some of the characters. you would see baccano is made up of each character. both great series though.
+littlescruby It's a great show, and I'm genuinely sad that it will never get a second season. It didn't even make it to the end of its original first season due to lower popularity then the studio had expected (the 3 OVAs where to wrap things up).
I can't remember the last time I found a show or story where no matter how hard I tried, I could not pick a favorite character. From Isaac and Miria's hilarious antics, Firo's open nature, and Jacuzzi's selflessness to the sadistic Ladd, the insane Graham, and the badass Rail Tracer, I just can't pick one to like more than the rest. The whole cast of Baccano is incredible!
This piece of amazing art never fails to put a giant goofy grin on my face. Brilliant show, wonderful and memorable characters, excellent music, tremendous animation and a storyline filled with so many clever twists and turns that easily make me happy to revisit them all over again to find something new every time.
finished last week. one of the best storyline ever, with a chaotic building, like a puzzle! awesome characters, awesome music, epic "open" ending. murder on orient express + FMA brotherhood. EXCELLENT!... BACCANO!
I love, *love*, *LOVE* this anime. I love the characters, I love the storylines and, most of all, I love how the story is told and the ending. The writer in me fawns over shows and stories like this, where they keep you from seeing the full picture and all the connections until the end. And that ending, in my eyes, is perfection. I hope to one day write a story told in a similar format; with different interconnecting storylines whose connections aren't apparent until the very end. But not yet; it's a challenge for when I'm a better writer than I am now.
RaroCookie15 I wish i could write a story like baccano with a awesome ending and amazing characters.~( ̄▽ ̄~)~ But I have to get better at writing too lol
This is so classy and smooth. I wish there were more anime with this kind of music. Hell, I wish there were more anime with the kind of classiness Baccano! has.
You know you've got a seriously good intro on your hands when it makes someone who literally knows nothing else about the show want to watch it. Props!
It is midnight right now and I'm listening to this in the dark, alone, in my room, and dancing to this and smiling and remembering how freaking awesome this show was, and how amazing the music was. Baccano is amazing! Love it! XD
Best Anime of all time imo! Awesome sub, awesome dub, banger soundtrack, 3 great stories for the price of one, loveable cast of characters including a bunch of immortals, the mafia, a couple of thieves and a train conductor xD

Sounds like a Mario Kart 8 stage. I really love how this is composed. The saxophone, trumpets, drum beat, and the piano. They come together so well. :D
There's something so amazing about Baccano. It was the first anime I watched so I'm a little biased, but I'm sure it holds a special place in a lot of people's hearts. Plus: that saxophone though!
I just can't believe how long ago Baccano first appeared. It seems like yesterday to me, oh my god i'm getting old and the anime feels still as fresh as if it had just been released this year.
5 years ago I stumbled upon this great anime and even though now I can’t find it anywhere I still enjoy listening to this full version of the song which takes me back to the first time I watched it
Saw Baccano not too long ago and the first thing I missed about the show was this opening. Reliving the opening through the anime was the only reason I decided to watch the specials lol. Baccano is a very fun show and this theme represents that really well. I come back to this every other day

HighspeedGI7 The setting takes place mostly around 1711, 1930, 1931, and 1932, but most of the stories we see take place during the early 30's. There are multiple settings, but the primary setting is the 30's.
Still here with a wishful dream, that this series will ever continue. One could dream that It will get a second season to continue the story, right? Baccano was simply too amazing to have just ended the way it has!
I recently told one of my teachers that I hated all jazz music. But then I watched this anime and heard this song. Guess that makes for one jazz song I like.
God, I really wish that either Brain's Base or Shuka would continue adapting the entire series... The anime itself is incredible but there's so much more from the source that they could work with if they chose to adapt all of Baccano!
+The Dawg Follow the sound of swinging jazz and it will lead you to an insane anime about 1930's mobsters with great characters and HORREDNOUS pacing and jump-cuts :D
I remember hearing this song for the first time. I was driving to my GFs house. She lived 6 hours away and it was the middle of summer break. I was about 5 hours in, sleep deprived, and I was sneezing my shit out because the trees in Akron kept nutting all over me. I had this song on repeat for about 30 minutes to keep me awake.
This anime was great!!! I love this song! Chane Laforet is my favorite!!! :3 I also enjoyed Ladd, Jaccuzi's entire gang and Isaac and Maria were hilarious!!!!

Guns & Roses really outdid themselves with this Baccano song.
The song is called Guns and Roses. It has nothing to do with the band.
Flew right over your head huh

I keep trying to tell people anime and jazz are a match made in heaven. Prove me wrong.

Saekka Not to mention blood. There was a lot of blood in the anime, if I remember correctly.
Eh, there's good blood and bad blood, and there was only some bad blood in this show, as the rest of it was great.
Eclipseslayer98 Well said!
So like cowboy bebop
Kek Jong un, Bebop was a good show but Baccano! is a masterpiece. I've wished for a season 2 for 10 years now.
No matter how depressed you are, this song will instantly cheer you up!
Ah Baccano, the only show where someone can wear a mint-green suit and matching Fedora, yet make it look completely fucking badass

I'd say it's more of an olive than a mint green, but otherwise 100% agree

There has never been a cast of characters as cool as the ones from Baccano in an anime.

Cowboy bebop and trigun. I fully agree
jorayx love trigun

i made mine on lyrics for this op and made a cover of it
BUT. You can't just stick any instrumental on an animation

Oh Durarara gets 2 seasons but Baccano only gets one?! Even though theres still a ton of story thats left over from the light novels?! Come on man!

Also. I wouldn't mind another show like Baccano but with no magic elements set in 30's America.
