Thanks, Baby Lock for recognizing the need to sponsor competent and enthusiastic educators as a way to promote and sell your high-quality machines. Not all dealers are lucky enough to have an "Anita" on staff. I have been waiting to take in-person classes (avoiding Covid precaution). Anita is just the answer. I hope you can keep her busy showing us new ideas and how Baby Lock is our best sewing friend. 100% helpful, 100% clear & concise 100% enthusiasm
SECONDED! I have been trying to decide whether to invest in a coverstitch machine. This was so helpful to learn what I could do. Most of the websites just tell you that "you can coverstitch". Well, duh. Thanks for showing how it works on different fabrics and for different applications.
This is literally the BEST instructional video I have ever seen in the sewing category. I love your teaching style! Such a calm demeanor. I'm contemplating buying a coverstitch machine and your teaching has helped me immeasurably. Thank you Anita!
Hi Anita , I just want to tell you , You are the BEST teacher. I watch a lot of sewing tutorials , and you are the best ! You know if we knew how to sew , we would not be watching tutorials .Why do some of these "teachers" rush through , like we are supposed to know these things ? All of your sewing is perfect and right on target. Thanks and keep up the good work and more videos Please. Betty

I know GOD will provide if it is His will that I have this machine . Thanks for sharing this beautiful lesson . Blessings to you and yours .
You will have one ☝️ one day if you really want one just saved up for the juki cover stitch wish I could have one of like this one day but I don’t have the room rate now so I need a sewing room first lol
I really appreciate the part where you keep stopping and smoothing back out the fabric when you're working in the round. No rush, it's all just very relaxed and you get a really nice result.
I purchased my Euphoria about 7-8 months ago and do not regret this purchase. I previously had another cover stitch machine, but as I told my dealer, it’s like driving a Toyota and upgrading to to a Rolls Royce. The first one will get you there, but the luxury edition make the journey so much more enjoyable. What I particularly like is that I can sew off the edge and don’t have to tug at any threads. Pure joy. Great video, thanks for sharing.
Bought this machine over two months ago. Finally took it out of the box last week. Read the manual, still intimidated. Watched all four of your videos today and just finished a sample scrap. I am THRILLED! Thank you!
I watch this over and over, so much easier to understand than my Baby Lock manual. plus she shows a lot of ways to do seams and tricks that are not in the manual.
Hi Anita! This is Doris Mays from Humboldt, Tennessee. Knowledge is key. I love how you go step by step with instructions. No room for guessing. And yes, removing thread is a game changer. Thank you for the tutorials. You are appreciated.
Ooohhh, Melanie, I'm so glad you saw this video. Yes, get that coverstitch out and start playing with it so you can get comfortable with how it functions.
You’re a perfectionist. Just start using it. You should see some of the ugly basic stuff I made with my sewing machine and serger. I’m happy because I give myself time to improve.
@@melaniesingh7208 another great tip. I was just going off feeling the fabric thickness or the print lines. I saw that tip and was like "oh yeah duhhh!"

I have a brother CV3550 and viewing these videos I am determined to get to it. God bless you as you share all your sewing knowledge. Bev
You are such an excellent instructor!! Thank you so much for making these videos on the Euphoria! I bought my machine and had never seen it in action nor did I receive a walkthrough from the sewing machine dealer where I purchased it. You explained everything so patiently and thoroughly! Thanks to you, I am so excited to start using my Coverstitch machine!!
Alice, this makes me so happy. I'm so glad you found my videos and enjoyed the series. Most of all, I'm happy to hear that you're excited to use your machine now. Have fun getting to know your Euphoria.
Thank you - this is has helped me a lot. I love the Euphoria and found hemming in the round very awkward until I saw your tip about cutting the threads at the start ! Genius. Love the explanation of why you should use a chain stitch.
I just bought this amazing machine today, and this instruction video has helped me so much! I cannot wait to put into practice these techniques and learn what all the Euphoria will do. Great video; thank you!
Thanks for the great information and clear introduction to a coverstitch machine! Loved the clear and simple video, we are quite often bombarded by some youtubers talk about their life, kids, husband etc., and all we want is simple information most of the time.
You are such a gifted teacher, Anita. Your tutorials have all the details and answer all questions that go around in my head - even down to the ITY knit which I was considering buying but I will wait until I get the cover machine. Gosh, you are such a delight to learn from.
This guide is absolutely brilliant. It takes thw fear off facing a new machine and is detailed and calming in just the right way. Thank you so much for making this video 😺
Anita, I just want to tell you how much I appreciate these videos! I bought my Vibrant serger almost three years ago because your videos gave me the confidence that I could use it. I just recently bought the Euphoria coverstitch and again, it was because of your excellent instructions on how to use it. Thanks so much 😊
Thank you so much for the comprehensive demonstration. Can you show us how you sew the T-shirt material that curled up on the edge with this machine? Thank you.
😊 Very excited I just purchased this machine today. I have the Baby Lock Acclaim. At first I regretted not getting the Triumph because of the cover stitch. Now I’m glad I have two separate machines that I don’t have to worry about changing the settings. Your videos is what encouraged me to purchase.
Thank you Anita! This instructional video is truly the BEST! I’ve come back to watch several times. You’re amazing and thank you for making educational and helpful sewing content!
Your 4th video was exactly what I needed! I have an Elna 444 with a decent manual but no instruction videos, and no store anywhere near me for support. All of your methods applied to any coverstitch machine, and my project was a success. Very well-filmed and each step explained in full. Thanks!
Thank you Anita! Your tutorials, including this one are so informative and detailed. I recently saw this machine at my local sewing machine store and fell in love with it. It's a bit expensive so for now it'll have to be on my "Want" list.
Buy it when it's on sale near Black Friday or when you are ready to use it. I bought my coverstitch machine in Nov 2020 and used it a couple of times but just started it using alot more now, it's now May 2022. I'm crazy about these overlock stitches. Now that I have my t-shirt template worked out I'm going to make athletic shirts with body mapped serged panels.
Thanks for a really great video. I just got a used coverstitch machine and this was exactly what I was looking for. Clear, to the point, good lighting and camera work.
Hi Ms. Anita!! 👋🏾 👋🏾👋🏾Thanks for the video. I have a coverstitch also. Maybe one day I'll get this beauty.I sat next to my machine and watched this video. Reading the instructions and actually watching a demonstration is totally different. I've watched other videos, and yours is the MOST informative. You're an awesome teacher and I look forward to your videos. Stay blessed❣❣
Dear Anita, I like your teaching. It is sooooo helpful. I came more often back to your videos to see the details. Thank you very much. Have a good time. I am looking forward to seeing more of your sewing videos. Best regards
Hi Anita. You are a born teacher and the work and help that went into this video is not lost on this gal. 🙏🏼 💗I am learning to like my cover stitch more and more with each project. Your tips are wonderful. I really need to try using it on wovens. I do think the learning curve can much more steep than some people are willing to deal with. Payoff for learning is really good though. I think my biggest frustration with knits is ironing up the hem to the exact same measurement all the way around. Easy on wovens. Not as easy on knits. Thank you again for your time, treasure and talent! 😘
Try a little spray starch on your knits to help flatten them before your turn them up to your desired hem width. Knits can be a little curly. I agree with you about Anita, I really want a cover stitch machine after watching her video, so informative and right to the point.
Another tip, and something I do with most of my really thin knits that curl: Apply a strip of knit interfacing along the raw edge of the hem. Just cut a strip the width of your hem allowance. It works so well with pressing up the hem on knits because it gives you that ridge to follow.
I have watched this tutorial before and I still love your basic teaching style for everyone to understand. I will be getting my first covers to check machine on Friday. So I wanted your tutorial as a reference and refresher. I use the other machines and my serger regularly. Thank you.
I have now watched all 4 of your videos using the Baby Lock Euphoria. I was mostly sold on it before I even started watching them, but after watching through the third video, I was already on the phone with my semi-local sew vac store ordering one! :) Thank you for clear, concise and articulate instruction. I now want to watch every video you've ever made. Lol
Thank you, Anita! This whole series is really helpful to me. I am considering getting the new Baby Lock Applaud, but I wanted to understand more about how a basic cover-stitch machine works first. You have a perfect way of explaining how these machines work.

Lady, this video made my week! It adresses exactly the issues I had on my first solo run with my new mashine. It is very well explained and the quality and editing is just on spot. Thank you so much for your work!
Anita i cannot thank you enough for wonderful video! I have learned a lot from it. Thank you!!!! :) A shout out to Baby lock for sponsoring you. I may look into this machine as well.
OMG, game changer indeed! I have the Babylock Triumph and have only used it for serging edges such as for blouses, either woven or knit fabrics. I have a separate cover stitch machine because I find changing over from serging to cover stitch on the Triumph cumbersome. I loved your video and will definitely go back to watch your other videos to see what I have been missing. Thank you SO much!
You are the greatest Anita! If I didn't have the Babylock Triumph, I would get this machine after seeing your video. You could take that specialty thread chain you created and couch it with invisible thread to add dimension to a garment! You could really upscale a seamline by sewing that created chain within the ditch of the seamline. Currently, I use braid in the inside of my jacket's inside seams in this way.
So awesome! Removing the stitches in case of a mistake, blew me away…. And, using the chain stitch in my knit fabrics for the seams…totally awesome. I have tried the Eloflex threads in a standard machine with a stretch stitch…save your money. The Coverstitch machine is worth its weight in gold.
I really loved your video, so informative, especially your trick about how to align your fabric when you want to sew on top for a hem, I think I can even use this on my straight stitch machine. You made me really want to get a cover stitch machine. Thanks and you have a new subscriber!
Anita! I was already a fan and a subscriber! I had just purchased the Euphoria right before you announced that you would be giving these tutorials! What perfect timing! It is such a relief knowing I have you to depend on for easy to follow lessons! Babylock sure knew what they were doing when they chose you to represent their product!
Excellent demonstration. This has inspired me to return to sewing my own clothes again. Such amazing time saving features on this machine. Sewing doesn’t need to be a struggle.
I always learn so much from your videos! After watching this, I now understand more about the workings of the differential feed, and this will be so helpful. Thank you!
Thank you. I had my instructions but couldn’t end the cover stitch when in a circle. You explained it much better! I will be watching again for the chain stitch.
Just received my Euphoria today and I am so excited to sit down and start learning how to use it. I have watched your video on the Euphoria over and over. My plan is to sit down with your video tomorrow and learn this beautiful machine!

Please read this Blog Post from Cashmerette Pattern Company. They cater to the plus size community. This article provides a list of the sizing offered by different pattern companies. I think this will really help you find companies that have more stylish patterns. I wish you well, my sister. I hope this helps. blog.cashmerette.com/2021/05/plus-size-sewing-pattern-sizes-2019.html

Anita you are such a gifted teacher. I have learned such a lot in such a short time. I never knew I could chain off! I have always struggled with ending. Now it will be a breeze. Thank you so much. I have a brother CV3550 and viewing these videos I am determined to get to it. God bless you as you share all your sewing knowledge. Bev
Hi Bev! I'm so glad you found this to be helpful. Have fun using your machine more now.
Anita, you do such a good job demonstrating and your style is calm and methodical. Great job!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you so much!
Thank you so much, Louise. I'm glad you found the tutorial to be helpful.
I just bought this amazing machine today, and this instruction video has helped me so much! I cannot wait to put into practice these techniques and learn what all the Euphoria will do. Great video; thank you!
Awesome! Congratulations and have fun with your new coverstich.
Thanks for the great information and clear introduction to a coverstitch machine! Loved the clear and simple video, we are quite often bombarded by some youtubers talk about their life, kids, husband etc., and all we want is simple information most of the time.
Uh oh! I've done that before. I've talked about my life. Thanks for your honesty. I'm really glad you enjoyed the video.
You are such a gifted teacher, Anita. Your tutorials have all the details and answer all questions that go around in my head - even down to the ITY knit which I was considering buying but I will wait until I get the cover machine. Gosh, you are such a delight to learn from.
Oh, Gloria! Thank you so much for your feedback. I'm very happy to hear that you find my teaching style helpful.
This guide is absolutely brilliant. It takes thw fear off facing a new machine and is detailed and calming in just the right way. Thank you so much for making this video 😺
Oh, thank you so much. I'm glad to hear you enjoyed the video.
Anita, I just want to tell you how much I appreciate these videos! I bought my Vibrant serger almost three years ago because your videos gave me the confidence that I could use it. I just recently bought the Euphoria coverstitch and again, it was because of your excellent instructions on how to use it. Thanks so much 😊
Oh my goodness, Amy! Thank you so much for sharing this with me. Congratulations on your new Euphoria. Oooohhh, you're gonna love it SO MUCH! 🤗💕🤗
Thank you so much for the comprehensive demonstration.
Can you show us how you sew the T-shirt material that curled up on the edge with this machine?
Thank you.
U have made in the round so much easier than I learned! Thank you a million times over.
You are so welcome!
I just won a Baby Lock Victory serger from my local quilt shop in DOYLESTOWN PENNSYLVANIA. I can wait to watch your videos and learn new skills.
Oh my GOSH! Congratulations, Lorraine! You must be so EXCITED! That's an amazing WIN! WooHooo! Have fun learning how to use your new machine.
Love all your videos. You are a great teacher. You explain everything so simply
Thank you so much!
Oh, Yaaayyy! Congratulations on your new Euphoria, Pat! You're gonna LOVE IT!!!
@@AnitabyDesign Looking forward to more videos from you.
I also have the Acclaim and the Lyric sewing machine . Now I feel like this euphoria would complete my set. Why would I need the euphoria ?
Thank you Anita! This instructional video is truly the BEST! I’ve come back to watch several times. You’re amazing and thank you for making educational and helpful sewing content!
Oh my goodness! You're very welcome.
Hi Anita! This is the very best Euphoria video ever! Everything is indeed…step by step! Thank you so much! So helpful. Lynn. I really appreciate it❤️
You are so welcome! I'm very happy you enjoyed the video.
Your 4th video was exactly what I needed! I have an Elna 444 with a decent manual but no instruction videos, and no store anywhere near me for support. All of your methods applied to any coverstitch machine, and my project was a success. Very well-filmed and each step explained in full. Thanks!
Oh, what a joy to hear of your success. Congratulations! I'm so glad the 4th video was helpful.
Thank you Anita! Your tutorials, including this one are so informative and detailed. I recently saw this machine at my local sewing machine store and fell in love with it. It's a bit expensive so for now it'll have to be on my "Want" list.
You are very welcome. Thank you so much for your feedback.
Thank you for a wonderful tutorial. You make me want a coverstitch machine and I'm still learning my regular machine lol. Maybe next year. Stay well.
Debbie! Definitely wait until you have mastered your regular sewing machine. LOL!
wow, I never thought about measuring off from the underside! Great tip!!
Thanks for a really great video. I just got a used coverstitch machine and this was exactly what I was looking for. Clear, to the point, good lighting and camera work.
You are welcome!
You have explained the cover stitch and others so well, I will no longer be afraid to try. Thank you
YES! That makes me happy. Glad to hear that you received confidence watching the tutorial.
Hi Ms.
Thank you so much, Towanda! I'm really glad you found this tutorial to be informative. You stay blessed too, my sister.
Dear Anita, I like your teaching. It is sooooo helpful. I came more often back to your videos to see the details. Thank you very much.
Have a good time.
I am looking forward to seeing more of your sewing videos.
Best regards
You are so welcome!
I absolutely loved this video. Thanks so much for sharing
You are so welcome!
@@evelynwald9132 Thanks Evelyn. I will certainly give this a try. ❤️ @kristimakes 😘
Another tip, and something I do with most of my really thin knits that curl: Apply a strip of knit interfacing along the raw edge of the hem. Just cut a strip the width of your hem allowance. It works so well with pressing up the hem on knits because it gives you that ridge to follow.
@@AnitabyDesign This is very helpful. Thank you. 💗
@@AnitabyDesign Love this!
I have watched this tutorial before and I still love your basic teaching style for everyone to understand. I will be getting my first covers to check machine on Friday. So I wanted your tutorial as a reference and refresher. I use the other machines and my serger regularly. Thank you.
You are so welcome! I'm really glad you found this tutorial to be helpful.
I have now watched all 4 of your videos using the Baby Lock Euphoria. I was mostly sold on it before I even started watching them, but after watching through the third video, I was already on the phone with my semi-local sew vac store ordering one! :)
Thank you for clear, concise and articulate instruction. I now want to watch every video you've ever made. Lol
Yaaaayyy! You're very welcome. I love this machine so much. Congratulations on your purchase. Have fun getting to know your new coverstitch.
Really liked your video... crisp n clear .. gratitude for your effort to deliver your knowledge 👍
My pleasure 😊
Superb instruction (especially for someone like me, who is still figuring out the finer points of the coverstitch).
I'm glad you enjoyed the tutorial, Mary 💕
Thank you, Anita! This whole series is really helpful to me. I am considering getting the new Baby Lock Applaud, but I wanted to understand more about how a basic cover-stitch machine works first. You have a perfect way of explaining how these machines work.
Awesome! I'm so glad you enjoyed the series and that it was helpful. Make sure you use my code: SAVE10-AAM4 to get 10% off your new machine and any accessories. Here's my ambassador page: babylock.com/affiliate/anita-morris
Lady, this video made my week! It adresses exactly the issues I had on my first solo run with my new mashine. It is very well explained and the quality and editing is just on spot. Thank you so much for your work!
You are so welcome!
Anita, Thank you very much! Freiburg, the Home of Madeira loves you!
AWESOME! You're very welcome.
Anita i cannot thank you enough for wonderful video! I have learned a lot from it. Thank you!!!! :) A shout out to Baby lock for sponsoring you. I may look into this machine as well.
You are so welcome! I'm so glad you enjoyed the tutorial.
I like how you teach. I have baby lock machine but I never figure out to use .I see you r video now I like that.thank you.
You are so welcome
A perfect introduction to the machine the best video I have seen, well done Anita, you are the best
a big thank-you 🤩🤩
Thank you, these videos were so helpful. You explain everything so clearly.

You're very welcome, Teresa!
So glad I found your channel! So helpful, and clear! Thank you so much! Can’t wait to watch more.
You are so welcome!
Such clear information I will now use my Coverstitch machine with confidence, thank you.
You are welcome! I'm so glad you found this video helpful.
You are so welcome! Yes, I have the Baby Lock Evolution and I didn't like changing back and forth either. I LOVE my dedicated coverstitch so much.
You are like sunshine , Thank you :)
Oh my goodness, Eve! Thank you so much.
@@AnitabyDesign Thank you, you been very helpful !
26:34 is the beginning of magic! Thank you😊
My goodness this was the BEST demonstration I have seen!! Thank you and I am sharing with my Facebook Euphoria group!!
Yeeesss!!! I'm so glad you enjoyed the tutorial and thank you for sharing with your group. 💕💕💕
Oh, what a great idea to use the thread chains in your inside seams.
I just love your videos. This is the best tutorial on how to use a cover stitch machine . Thanks so much!!
You are so welcome!
Loving the top you are wearing. Very pretty.
Thank you so much!
thank you for doing video on the cover stitch euphoria. I got one and you make it simple.
You are so welcome!
So awesome! Removing the stitches in case of a mistake, blew me away…. And, using the chain stitch in my knit fabrics for the seams…totally awesome. I have tried the Eloflex threads in a standard machine with a stretch stitch…save your money. The Coverstitch machine is worth its weight in gold.
Sharon, I'm so glad you picked up a few tips from the video. 🤗
That is a really great hidden tip in your video. You should clip it out and put it on TikTok or on a UA-cam compilation video
Thank you I have a dusty cover stitch machine because I never could figure out how to get to work to stop, now I can!
You are so welcome!
I really loved your video, so informative, especially your trick about how to align your fabric when you want to sew on top for a hem, I think I can even use this on my straight stitch machine. You made me really want to get a cover stitch machine. Thanks and you have a new subscriber!
Thank you so much. Yes, you can definitely use the same tip to line up your fabric on the regular machine. Thanks for subscribing.
Anita! I was already a fan and a subscriber! I had just purchased the Euphoria right before you announced that you would be giving these tutorials! What perfect timing! It is such a relief knowing I have you to depend on for easy to follow lessons! Babylock sure knew what they were doing when they chose you to represent their product!
Yaaayyy, Betsy! Congratulations on purchasing your new Euphoria! I'm so glad you're happy to have the tutorials.
Totally agree - you have a very good way of explaining things. Would love to take a class with you, but am in UK!
Thank you, Louise. My sewing course in online and is self paced. You can join at any time.

Excellent demonstration. This has inspired me to return to sewing my own clothes again. Such amazing time saving features on this machine. Sewing doesn’t need to be a struggle.
I'm so glad you enjoyed the tutorial.
I always learn so much from your videos! After watching this, I now understand more about the workings of the differential feed, and this will be so helpful. Thank you!
You are very welcome. I'm so glad you enjoyed the video.
Thank you. I had my instructions but couldn’t end the cover stitch when in a circle. You explained it much better! I will be watching again for the chain stitch.
Glad it was helpful!
What an impressive video. So easy to understand. Thanks Anita.
You're very welcome!
Now I might even try to sew me some knit tops!
You are a wonderful teacher!!! Everything is so clear. Thank you so much 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻😀
You are very welcome, Carol. I'm so glad you enjoyed the video.
Just received my Euphoria today and I am so excited to sit down and start learning how to use it. I have watched your video on the Euphoria over and over. My plan is to sit down with your video tomorrow and learn this beautiful machine!
This makes me so happy! Congratulations on your new Euphoria. Have fun learning to use it.
Good morning Anita, I have been looking at this machine, I have a brother 4 thread cover stitch and get frustrated with not being able to do a lot. Thanks so much for demonstrating this one.
You are so welcome!
I have been watching your videos for a long time, and I like what you are doing. I have decided to take your beginner class. This will help me a lot
I'm so glad to hear that you like the videos here on UA-cam. Thank you for joining the sewing course.
you're a very good teacher! Blessings to you!
Thank you so much.
Greetings, this was such a clear and concise video explaining and demonstrating how this wonderful machine works and how it can make sewing so much more easier, professional and fun. Thank you so much, now I feel confident to get this machine and in using it.
You are very welcome. I'm really glad you enjoyed the tutorial. It's a great machine.
Lady Anita your are amazing, I have learned many things from watching your videos. I am a beginner at seeing and I regret it that I waited so long to get into this WONDERFUL craft of sewing, I simply love it ❤️. I'm a little frustrated because I am having the hardest time trying to find patterns in my size. I am a plus size 24 , it's so hard to find modern trendy patterns for me. If possible would you be kind enough to maybe recommend some solutions? Any help would be appreciated. 😷😀
Ooohhh, Vanessa, thank you so much for watching my videos. I'm so glad to have you in this community. My heart just breaks when I hear about my plus size sisters struggling to find patterns in their size.
There are lots of Independent Pattern Designers who offer plus size ranges. Please read this Blog Post from Cashmerette Pattern Company. They cater to the plus size community. This article provides a list of the sizing offered by different pattern companies. I think this will really help you find companies that have more stylish patterns.
I wish you well, my sister. I hope this helps.
