How to Build a Modern Truss Dining Table & Bench

This week I built an ash Dining Table & Bench for our new house. It was my first project with hardwoods, which was definitely a learning experience (sometimes more of a learning experience than I was hoping for), but I'm so happy with how it turned out! I milled all the lumber down to standard 2x4 and 2x8 sizes so you can still build it with off-the-shelf lumber if you're not quite ready to tackle hardwoods.
