Yeah looks sick. I still have the polaroid pictures of when my brother bought his Iroc Z brand new back in the day. His car was white on tan with the gold wheels. Totally sick car back then not much looked as good imo. Especially when I was a kid it looked so cool.
Yea I widh I could time travel back to then with some money, and buy a new iroc and throw it in a storage unit somewhere and then time travel back to now and get it lol
No doubt brother. Remember the black Iroc that was in that shipping container since new?. They managed to get the paint to come back pretty good but I always wondered about moisture. I had a 89 GTA that was pretty rotten on the floors and quarters as most of them are. Also wish people knew how to jack up F-bodies. They almost always have pinch weld damage from improper jacking.
Yea there is a story just like that you should watch the video on, it's an old classic car a town bought and then buried in a time capsule like thing, and then dug it up like 40 years later and didn't realize that when it rained, water was filling up the time capsule, so it was one huge like melted pile of rust
Yup I remember that one, it actually shows up in my preview usually on the sidebar. That was a shame it would have been really cool to see it. That old paint can be brought back to life no problem but when even the paint is rust you know you got problems lol.
Hawks said they are gonna get 9in+ widths this year.

Sick car man. The wheels give it and aggressive look diving the route you're going with it. I own a 1992 rs convertible Camaro and I'm building with a 1999 350 vortec engine posi 700r4 and c4 vette wheels. Keep up the videos coming on your Camaro. 👌👍
That's looks fuckin badass, you're making me miss my IROC. That sounds like a great deal for the rims and tires.
Love how the installer just cranked them on with the impact. You should loosen those and properly torque them, otherwise could lead to warped rotors and such.
I'm glad he used a torque bar on that impact so he didn't over torque the lug nuts

Solid choice on the IROC reps. I was never a fan of the change Chevy made to the 5 spoke rims for the 90-92 models. Especially the color coordinated rims. I'm interested to see how those tires perform. That car needs a set of Goodyear Eagle Gatorbacks, or at least some Eagle GT's or ST's. I ran the white letter Eagle ST's on my '74 Camaro back in the 80's. I loved the look of those tires.
Yea I tried to find some white letter tires, but none that I could find came in 18's

I'm taking a look at a 92 rs camaro hopefully this weekend. It;s so hard finding them in australia as they are a rare imported car. I'll keep you update and keep up the vids I'm loving them!

I can still find wrinkle wall tires for my factory 16" on my 90, How can you match that on a launch? I was a GM mechanic so I built it to look oem as much as possible, Damn you Sub-frames!
Personally I'd go for a size, maybe two sizes smaller, I feel these make the car look too much like a "dinkytoy" from the side due to the sidewall of the tires just being too slim
But, if you're happy with it, that's most important ^^

Where the wheels direct fit or needed spacers? That’s the reason why I haven’t purchased the 18in off hawks because they need spacers and I think that’s stupid that they didn’t bother making them correctly

Those are the Rims I got for my Black 86 Camaro Z28, but I doing 255/40R18 rear and 225/45R18 front...
Do these wheels fit the car stock? Any information that I find says you need spacers, but it doesn't look like you used any.
I didn't use any spacers at all. You should not need spacers for these. They are designed to fit the car's offset
Question I have now the stock 16 inch rims on my 85 tpi camaro and on the rear wheels you can see clearly rear.
Is there really a difference between front and rear? And what is the difference?

yessir, they would fit just fine
as long as you picked some lower profile tires like I did. The factory tires would not fit with these

They look very nice, I'm more of a stock guy. It's nice to see you went with the same styling of a Camaro IROC mag wheel just bigger, instead of going with a gay set of American Racing wheels or something way too modern. Nice car, please keep the cassette player for God's sake!
Yea I want to keep it authentic looking. The craziest mods are going to be the wheels and the sound system. I kept the cassette player, it's in my garage

I had a 92 Camaro like yours mine was white, never thought about it when I had the car. But watching the car back out of the repair shop, the 3rd gen Camaro is a super long car lol wow.

First thing I would have done is Take Those Louvers OFF!!! They destroy the Lines of the car. Otherwise, that's a beautiful car.

thank you i have a 91 rs green like your well it was green haha . it was my uncles who was a firefighter and would drive to fires when he was off and a few times it got to close so the paint is messed up. i like the fact the you post links man youre the only one i know who dose this. oh yeah i also follow beard tube keep this up man you have help a lot of people and you continue to do so thank you
