The existence of Soulframe only means that more of the senior developers of Warframe moved to work on Soulframe.
Soulframe is just a new IP and it is confirmed that Steve is working on it. Steve isn't leaving DE, just moved to a new project and leaves Warframe in Rebecca's care.
There is also that game they mentioned collaborating with another studio. DE are just expending both as a developer studio and as a publisher studio.

Apparently as well they mentioned that Rebecca has been the director for the past 6 months already and the transition is essentially already completed. With this tennocon acting as a last hurrah for the old developers and directors who are moving over
Could be a good or bad thing. These past 6 months have been characterized as a pretty downward spiral in balance for the game. Tbf, it was more so caused by them continually doubling down on the AoE meta
However, content wise the game hasn't really seen a hit. I would assume Duviri is Rebeccas brain child more so than Steve's at this point. He layed the foundation years ago but we didn't really have any gameplay or real info till now. Hence why it is such a drastic direction change for the game
What I understand that no one is leaving DE
It's just the people with more experience will work on the new IP soulframe

Where Warframe is the tenno using transference to use multiple Bodies that are the frames
Soulframe is the Envoy that can use multiple souls
In the end you can see that he has the wolf eyes/soul
When he used the bird I think he had the bird eyes/soul
Paying attention to the lines, the drifter is the king.
Next will be Monsterframe. You catch frames in mechanical cubes and train them to battle for you…

Wait a second, you just helped me realize something too: if the Duviri and the Void are basically "what if" aspect of Warframe, then there's a pretty big chance that he (or a version of him from timeline where he wasn't glassed, to be precise) is somewhere in there and we might see him in the future! And when we consider that the characters can wander from one dimension to another...

Except they have difference voices, act differently, and Ordan Karris was never a Dax, but instead an assassin with two bone-plug karambit blades imbedded in the base of his skull which he used to try to kill several Orokin executors prior to being forced to consume kuva and being turned into a cephalon by a process similar to Nihil’s, having been stripped of many of his memories.

From what I heard from a dev, they had a DDOS attack from Russia, that's why you had trouble connecting.
Felt like a usual overload on the server. It happens all the time during Tennocon.

This tennocon was probably the weakest I've seen. Sorry to say I'm disappointed.

@@marquisepixley684 it's an opinion. But I they talked for half of the con about stuff that isn't Warframe.
They showed a Prime that was well known which it was.
They showed a skin for the free frame they gave away.
They announced an odd "partnership" that doesn't involve Warframe.
They showed the rogue like mode they teased back in 2018.
The most interesting thing was veil breaker.
And they showed an entirely new game.
How is any of that, better or even close to, Plains, Vallis, Railjack, New War, Second dream?

@@erikenn I mean in terms of announcements and scale of everything shown, it seems pretty on par. And for some people, announcing a new game is probably more exciting than any open world or new system added to Warframe could ever be. It varies from person to person, so you can't really objectively measure how good it was.
@@lilfuzzballa it's my opinion buddy. I don't think half of the meat of your biggest show should be one announcement of a partnership with no details.... And an entirely different game.
Take the partnership of nothing out. Put in something ANYTHING else.
A different game is awesome and I've already signed up. But there isn't near the same hype as there was following previous Tennocons. You can think whatever you want, but just going off my own vibe, and the coverage of Warframe creators, yeah it's pretty limp.
I would actually partially agree but I think it makes sense. The studio has obviously been in transition for the past few months with many developers moving over to Soulframe and then Duviri seems to be literally an entirely new game built alongside the normal Warframe gameplay. With a large focus on the Drifter timeline introduced in New War
They could have definitely hyped it up more but I think it was the right decision. They hyped up fortuna and Railjack that one Tennocon and I think it inevitably made people disappointed since the hype got to ridiculous levels. Reeling it back a bit while still giving out the same amount of content was the right decision. Temper expectations and gives people something to look forward to and anticipate seeing for themselves.
