All these years later she is missed - no one can ever take her place. Her compassion, her grace, her charm, her smile; what any empty space she left behind - She will be messed for eternity. I followed her every post. I absolutely LOVED her. She was as royal as the queen. I cried the whole day she died. This song says it all.

The Spencer's are more royal than the Windsors so your right there. She was the only one fit for the title of Queen. I actually like Camilla, the woman wasn't deemed good enough then but is now by his side as queen consort, ridiculous imo. And tbh I'd rather see harry and Meghan on the throne than William and Kate, shes a shining example of how to play the long game her.

@@anony7170I met Queen Camilla on September 16th, 2022; she tried comforting me over the Queen’s death but Charles took over; he knew I was Woody.EXE’s Queen and he said “I wish you and Woody.EXE a long and healthy reign” I thanked them before they left and I overheard Charles saying to Camilla “She’s a true Queen and having to give up her life at 20 is just incredible”. I really hope to meet them again

Elton - This song reduced each of us to tears, weeping for the loss of a kind and lovely soul. Thank you for sharing your great talent with us at a time when we were emotionally hurting deeply. It is a beautiful song for a beautiful lady sung by a beautiful voice. I am not sure how you managed to keep it together during the performance because the rest of us lost it. I still cry when I hear it.

Those pictures of princes William and Harry are what I find saddest. It's easy to criticize a royal for not knowing the harsh realities of life but to lose your mother so suddenly as a child and then have the whole world watching as you walk towards her funeral must be deeply painful. Anyone who has lost a loved one in a terrible accident can at least empathize with them.

Deep Heat yes so true, people think mother Teresa was a saint... she was pretty brutal... far from a saint. She certainly should not be compared to Diana who was far a more compassionate person.

No Comparison. Mother Teresa was a force for evil and caused the death of millions. Diana was a true humanitarian and an example of love.

Mother Teresa and Princess Diana were NOTHING ALIKE. There was cult of suffering in homes run by Teresa’s organization, the Missionaries of Charity, with children tied to beds and little to comfort dying patients but aspirin. If Diana had seen the way that Teresa took adherence to frugality and simplicity in her work to such extremes, she would have been appalled.

Elton John: Goodbye England's Rose. May you ever grow in our hearts? You were the grace that placed itself where lives were torn apart. You called out to our country. And you whispered to those in pain. Now you belong to heaven. And the stars spell out your name. And it seems to me, you lived your life like a candle in the wind. Never fading with the sunset, when the rain set in. And your footsteps will always fall here along England's greenest hills. Your candle's burned out long before your legend ever will. Loveliness we've lost, those empty days without your smile. This torch we'll always carry for our nation's golden child. And even though we try, the truth brings us to tears. All our words cannot express the joy you brought us through the years. And it seems to me, you lived your life like a candle in the wind. Never fading with the sunset, when the rain set in. And your footsteps will always fall here along England's greenest hills. Your candle's burned out long before your legend ever will. Goodbye England's Rose. May you ever grow in our hearts? You were the grace that placed itself where lives were torn apart. Goodbye England's Rose, from the country lost without your soul, who'll miss the wings of your compassion. More than you'll ever know. And it seems to me, you lived your life like a candle in the wind. Never fading with the sunset, when the rain set in. And your footsteps will always fall here along England's greenest hills. Your candle's burned out long before your legend ever will. Your footsteps will always fall here along England's greenest hills. Your candle's burned out long before your legend ever will.

Great Beauty , but unfortunately tragic end at a young age. This tear-jerking song tells it all how it feels when such tragedy occurs.

That was the power of her personality that royals were forced to give her honour who stripped her from the title of hrh. But she is still alive in the hearts of the people, still remembered as the queen which she truly was.

I went to lay flowers for Diana, I have never seen so many people laying flowers. She was worth every petal. She would have made a fantastic Queen. Charles was an idiot he had Diamonds at home and he went to screw brass. RIP Diana.

Absolutely love your comment. My goodness, how true. Sad thing is neither one of them are ashamed of what they did to Diana. No shame. Diana was royalty in her own right and way to good for either one of them. I wouldn't show my face if I was her. But she has no shame. She is so ugly and those rotten teeth. Shes disscusting. Putting on a pretty dress does nothing to help her.
What's done is done. I don't understand where the shame is. After listening to the tapes and reading the letters n notes between them, I would say, this isn't love, just sexual lust. Look what he had at home. Sad thing is she really loved him.
He's no prize to look at either. What Diana saw in him is beyond me. Wonder how the boys really feel about her.
Diana will always be the peoples princess.

I was only 5 when she died, but I can still remember how big of a deal it was and watching the thousands of people mourn on TV with my parents. Diana truly must have been an inspiration to many. She was taken way too soon.
