you seem like a wise dude and you genuinely give a shit about sharing your knowledge and helping other people. that's why i keep coming back every single time you upload. you a real one man keep killin it
yo idk if you knew this but with clearing A MIXER track state, you actually only have to click and hold "save as new track state" then drag to what ever channel you want to clear
Broooo I read your comment before but when I reached that point I was like dammmmn he was right he felt relaxing coz bro bro was spitting none stop 🤣🤣👌🏾 but content is good I like his feedback from his experience it seems honest
one thing thats helped me a ton is just playing the midi keyboard. practice with a regular piano practice with a cool lead preset. ill use serum or nexus and just play an album i really like in the background and find some similar presets and just teach urself to find the key and then just start playing w those keys to the song ur listening to. Ive only been on fl for a little over a year but that has helped so much
12:56 If you remove the release in the stems it sounds terrible with stuff like pads, just overlap the release thats literally what vsts do also what if a sound has a lot of reverb, it would just cut off and sound bad
@@park3r61 If using splice samples or loops from packs, almost all of them will have the key they are in. If you make your own chords then throw a melody on top, just go by the root note of your chords. Or just go into "helpers" in the piano roll and set it to which scale you want to play in and it'll highlight the notes, then tryst your ears. FL also has "Wave Candy". Open that up on your sample if it doesn't give you the key and it'll show you which notes are being played/which are the most present and program your 808 and other stuff around those notes.
this random producers have more respect for than populares.. the good shit of making beats is u never forget who u watch when u are learning make beats or procuding.. thanks for the advices much respect bro god bless
the consistency tip is big facts, i been ass for so long but lately I've been getting so much better and it's all because i make a beat every single day
trust, if you make something shit, admit it, and create a new project and start over. do this like up to 5 times and it might be frustrating but before you hit that 5th project you'll likely finally make something you like
This is a beautiful fail safe video , because everything you named are KEY POINTS OF SUCCESS . They’re definitely common sense rules/tricks but still many (including me) miss these steps time from time . Beautiful job …you just earned another proud and supportive subscriber . 💪🏾😎
yo fam. feels like I'm making hot garbage these days. so critical of myself. anyways. thanks for the wise knowledge n giving out your best everytime. needed this
Bro tip #1 is str8 💯 facts of being a producer. I was dumb cuz football started so I stopped making beats, now I’m back and I’m not as good as I was before. Was on fire now struggling. Never take a break or you’ll lose the mojo. No joke. Lesson learned. 💯
Yes you want to be consistent. But there is absolutely nothing wrong with taking breaks and stepping away from creating music! You said that if you do take breaks, you'll be taking a step back and forgetting things you were learning when you decided to step away.. but if anything, it can actually do the opposite and be greatly beneficial! Usually when I take a break for a month or so and then come back to making music, it helps freshen things up and helps me get back to having fun with making music again instead of it feeling like a chore or a job! Obviously the more we apply ourselves the faster we'll get better and improve at producing or our craft.. but BURNOUT is very real and can easily be the end of your career if you're not careful!
Do you have a video about proper collab etiquette? If not could you make one in this style? Like a "I wish I knew this about collabs from day 1." Because this video was very helpful, you're the goat
3:00 If the artist you're working with is serious about it, they might not accept mp3 files. If someone sends me an mp3 file of some stems, I wouldn't even bother. Send me high quality WAV's and if that creates a couple extra steps, oh well, I'm serious about my craft and I won't accept 2nd rate stuff when the fix is literally clicking "wav" instead of mp3. If you insist on doing it, there's two easy shortcuts to use. CTRL+R will render everything in a .wav file CTRL+SHIFT+R will render everything in a .mp3 file
Do you have any tips for backing up your projects. I gotta virus on my laptop a few months ago and lost alotta stuff and I really wanna avoid that happening again.
Do you know what is the difference between the fruity version and the producer version, or like what’s better for a beginner if they are trying to learn how to make beats?
@@Rainxv i believe the producer version has all the perks you’ll ever need.. and fl studio is the best in my opinion.. maybe someone else thinks different.. go with what feels most comfortable with you.. good luck my friend 🖤🦅⚡️🪄
honestly most of the tips are for people who don’t have artist to work with. as long as you know what you are doing when it come to music and have experience with artist this stuff should be no problem. but honestly if none of what I say helps just keep focusing on your craft and make it better than everyone else’s
As an engineer/artist I'd rather have the key of the beat than the (vibe). If someone sends me a beat without the key and bpm I prolly won't listen to it. Dope video tho man

you dont have to rename the mixer state to reset you can just click default..dope video!!!
The circular panning law pretty much boosts the volume when you pan a sound to compensate for the loss that panning causes
12:56 If you remove the release in the stems it sounds terrible with stuff like pads, just overlap the release thats literally what vsts do

yo this litterally changes everything for me and other producers! ly so much for this, keep it up homie
Good call on goosebumps that’s one that’s definitely about the beat.
extra tip for the names of the files: save the key with it too :)
Smart
how do i know the key of a beat on fl studio?

This video is a gem
Mp3s are compressed like way more though like wave files are uncompressed and 10x bigger but I get it for previews.
Actually when uploading to beatstars it requires atleast 320 kbs so that’s really annoying I have to go back and export it just to upload
Yeah that’s true, but the lower quality versions are more for sending directly to artists
great video homie ! thank you for your time
goated as always homie, appreciate you 💯
Babe wake up, Finna uploaded
LOVE THE INFO BRO LOOKING FORWARD TO MORE !!!!
in newer versions of fl there is a reset mixer track setting built in

Dope one
damn okay
7:00 ig thats the butterfly effect
in Fl 20 the two options are circular and triangular, should it be selected to triangular?
No that's bs.
He doesn't know what that's doing keep it at circular it's how the sound volume changes when you pan stuff around
Also he is using like FL10, cmon 99% of the "bugs" he is mentioning are fixed in later versions and can't be taken seriously
I had to stop watching the video after he said to turn circular panning off. Keep it on.
WHEN EXPORTING TRIM END FROM MIXER
Must of watched like 10 times
