About This Game (from steam)
Welcome to Ultimate Epic Battle Simulator 2, the most ridiculous and insane battle simulator in existence! Create eye watering battles with hundreds of thousands, and even millions of characters on screen! Sandbox mode will return, with infinite army sizes and far greater flexibility than ever. Command your armies in RTS mode with full drag select army control, or get the job done yourself and play as any one of the units in 3rd or 1st person. In coming updates for early access, jump into multiple story and player driven campaigns or make your own and share them with your friends! FPS invasion will also be returning soon, where you play through the eyes of a soldier fighting off hordes of zombies in first person.

Details were not ignored, every individual has highly advanced decision making and animation, all while working together for a greater goal. We are also working on our own 'mass' GPU physics engine. Our hope is to bring physics to a scale never before seen, which may allow thousands of ragdolls, and millions of physics based objects. Keep in mind, our physics engine is in very early development so we can't make any guarantees.

At about 21 seconds into the fight the nids had lost 30,000 Troops o.O
The first imperial guard casualty was from drowning in the blood of enemies seconds into the fight only. INSANE !!!!
The pathing gave the IG a bit of a handicap. Thought they would have fallen at around the half way point. This was by far the closest of battles you have put up. Much more enjoyable watch.
The techno tank was something else 🤣 i imagined some Vostroyan were sitting in there playing "cheeki breeki" on full volume :P
Lore dump, cinematic start, then florid sports commentary and little Timmy even got to play in his floaty. Perfection, sir :)
Having bought this game thanks to this channel I have to give you massive credit for how entertaining you make these, both in setting up some context for the battle, and just making them well setup and entertaining to watch. It's certainly not as easy as you make it look
Thank you for that, honestly made my day with that comment. It does take a bit of effort to bring this all together with the limitations of maps and mods and available lore that fits into it, but some how; on some level it works, and this comment makes it all worth the time and effort, thanks my dude.

And yeah, tyranids swarming in 100.000 of thousands looks amazing.
This might have been the closest battle, I actually thought the imperials were going to win, but then so many angles were opened up for the tyranids to attack from. I think this is the best map for the tyranids to win at, uneven terrain, obstacles everywhere and the imperials having nowhere to go but into the lake. Kind of like a Dunkirk situation, no where for the imperials to run but into the sea or jump off a cliff rather than being literally cut down into little bite size pieces.
This game really does give an interesting perspective to the absolute mind breaking terror that it would be to fight something like the Tyranids that just. Will. Not. Stop.
And this one really was close. Poor Imperial Guard, Emperor bless their khaki colored blobs...
First episode of cavils Netflix series should open with that panoramic glide over a bid swarm over a hill into complete and utter fucking hell

Fun Fact - 7 out of 8 times in testing this the IG won; the time they lost, was when I started recording, this should have been an IG win, but when it came to recording suddenly they lost - make of that what you will xD

The nature of the Nids works really well with ai machanics. The rushing swarm. You should maybe try doing historical battles like the battle for Macragge or the devastation of Baal
I really thought the Imperium would carve our a Phyrric victory from this. If they had brought some artillery they may have done it.

It would likely utterly tank the frames of the game but the Unit I want the most is Flamers or Heavy Flamers. But I don't believe the game has that damage type in it sadly.
You can kinda do it using the cleopatra attack i belive. Just set it to a very high rate, small AoE and short range, then low damage per attack so it doesn't end up being bassically immortal.
Love ur videos it's been how I've been falling asleep since I found ur channel. If u had another series playing first person that would be nice or maby a segment of first person would be nice no one really does any first person I searched earlier and couldn't find anything. Just wanted to say I like the content and wanna see ur channel boom

I wonder if the time lapses screw things in favor of the attacker as the computer don't get the same time to process and seems to crunch numbers. There was only 250000 Tyranids left and the guard numbers had almost stopped dropping at 6000+. When you time lapsed they collapsed. Would have been interesting to see the same battle twice with and without time lapse used, to see how it impacts the game. I wonder if the guard would have won without the time lapse.
I recorded it at normal speed and sped it up in editing lol :P

Just a suggestion, but wouldn't it be better to have you be the cameraman while a 2nd player helps control the defending troops? alot of battles could have went better with just some simple consolidation tactics. instead troops are dying where they don't have to. like how many guys died from drowning in the blood pool.
there is no co-op/ multiplayer - RTS control is as far as move a blob of units a bit not much to it :(

Sorry bout that. i dont have any plans to put them up on steam at this point in time. Still learning how to make them properly so they have a few kinks to work out. Useable for pinkys vids however so just sit back and enjoy the content. Cheers
