About This Game (from steam)
Welcome to Ultimate Epic Battle Simulator 2, the most ridiculous and insane battle simulator in existence! Create eye watering battles with hundreds of thousands, and even millions of characters on screen! Sandbox mode will return, with infinite army sizes and far greater flexibility than ever. Command your armies in RTS mode with full drag select army control, or get the job done yourself and play as any one of the units in 3rd or 1st person. In coming updates for early access, jump into multiple story and player driven campaigns or make your own and share them with your friends! FPS invasion will also be returning soon, where you play through the eyes of a soldier fighting off hordes of zombies in first person.
Lets not ignore the elephant in the room! UEBS2 features revolutionary new crowd rendering and AI technology which uses pure GPU POWER to bring nation size battles to life! Witness the first game to fully utilize full GPU acceleration for every AI individual and all the technology behind the crowd tech. UEBS2 handles 100 times more characters on screen than its predecessor, and in far greater detail and quality. Details were not ignored, every individual has highly advanced decision making and animation, all while working together for a greater goal. We are also working on our own 'mass' GPU physics engine. Our hope is to bring physics to a scale never before seen, which may allow thousands of ragdolls, and millions of physics based objects. Keep in mind, our physics engine is in very early development so we can't make any guarantees.

When the Ultramarines and Mortifactors reached Tarsis Ultra they found it to be a busy hive of activity as the Astra Militarum, along with the Space Marines of the Ordo Xenos' Chamber Militant, the Deathwatch, were preparing the defences for the Tyranid assault.
The forces on hand included two Imperial Guard regiments, the 933rd Death Korps of Krieg led by Colonel Trymon Stagler, and the 10th Logres Regiment led by Colonel Octavius Rabelaq. Also included were the Tarsan Planetary Defence Forces headed by Major Aries Satria.
Upon landing at Tarsis Ultra, Uriel Ventris, Astador, the commanders of the Imperial Guard regiments and the Tarsan Planetary Governor met up with the infamous Inquisitor Lord Kryptman, the man who had single-handedly discovered the Tyranid threat to the Imperium and had led the crusade to stop the Great Devourer.
Next time lead with the nuke, that would be more realistic and bring airsupport......

The animations for the nids don’t fit at all, but even so this was awesome 👍
Kriegers: So you’re telling me we get to fight an enemy that is more than willing to engage us in bayonet range? Truly the God Emperor has blessed us this day.

Imagine if the Death Korps units here ever learned how to fire while walking backwards
Heresy, the krieg don't flee from the enemy
@@shiggermetimbers in fact, they'd have charged
Why didn't the commissar told them that another hostile just brazenly soiled God Emperor's land behind them? That should work... i hope...
Krieg soldiers answer: "Where is backwards?"
@@shiggermetimbersThey fled multiple times during Vraks
As a longtime Nid player, I love seeing an entire countryside covered in them. Also they are the only army that might behave this way. Doesn't matter if you cut down one gaunt, or a hundred, or a thousand. They don't care. All you did was make a bridge. They'll just re-consume all that biomass anyway.
This! It's just a waste of time😅
Yeah, but they get depreciating returns.
Which…kinda makes for some questions about their feeding seeing as they tyranid-fy the planet before eating it so…
good thing i'm a necron main so i just erases you and your biomass entirely from existence lmao (except flayed ones i think)
Yeah unless the Ultramarines come in and god stomp u back into oblivion
Nothing a good Waaagh can't fix.
There's just something about the Warhammer units that really up the carnage compared to any other units I've seen.
Probably because these numbers are lore accurate
Tyranids really do swarm in such numbers of hormagaunts alone
So what were seeing is what the imperial guard would see
@@ragnarianThat really does put it into perspective
Seeing the Carnifexes (my favorite unit on the table) doing that goofy ass run is absolutely sending me 😂
LMAOOO imagine seeing that shit running at you like that in the Warhammer Universe, like "DAMN, BROTHER THAT TRYRANID IS *HUNGRY* HUNGRY" hit the Usain Bolt on us just to get a chomp!
I'm half expecting one to show up on a baseball field as a mascot.
I'm not the only one!!! 😂😂😂
Cut the carnifex some slack it's literally their first day (being alive in general)
@@gasalpha879 and it's ready to CHOMP
The Death Korps of Krieg: It's now about whether you die (you will); it's how many of the enemy you can take with you.
In the latest Siege of Terra books, those types called themselves "life sellers". As in, how many lives would it cost an enemy to kill them. Some Space Marines had a count in the dozens.
@@L0stEngineer That better be dozens of other Astartes, for regular humans that number better be 4 digit minimum.
@@majormajorasic I think you overestimate the SM… take Horus rising, you have many space marines dying without taking down *any* enemies, it’s just luck. For a space marine to take down thousands of men would be an incredible feat
Cadian soldier: we are safe here, they will not be able to cross this canyon
Tyranids: *fill the canyon with bodies to cross*
That's fr some shit the Tyranids would do in the lore too
Sounds like real 'nid thing to do though.
I recall they did that during the Devastation of Ball
also why not more canyons??? more the better
Fill the canyon/trench with mines and put troops with flamethrowers and grenade launchers on your side. Should ruin the Tyranid's day.
In life war, in death peace, in life shame, in death atonement. The life of Death korp of Krieg is really sad.
Theyh are the most finatical regiment for sure!
do not pity them, it mocks their dedication and sacrifice.
This really does put into perspective how big some in universe battles are in Warhammer 40k
Considering that there where battles in ww1 and ww2 with higher casualties it puts history somewhat into perspective as well
@@l.h.9747yeah but those were over hundreds of kilometers of battle lines in different continents over the years.
Bringing 1 million "soldiers" to fight over a kilometer long battleline would be fucking insane to witness 😂
Wow this is really impressive. From the unit numbers to the blood decals , to the physics of blood itself creating literal moving rivers of blood. If this is built on constantly over the next decade or two I could see it completely changing the gaming industry
Tyranids in this mod: *Menacing horde of millions that consumes everything in their path*
Also Tyranids in this mod: *Kung fu kicks and slap attacks*
Surprisingly efficient against crackhead with shovels
Now THIS, is a lore accurate battle
Holy crap it’s amazing how many A.I. you can put on the map without lag! The gun batteries puncturing holes in the Tyrannid line only to have it fill up with more is just awesome
Just have to imagine the sky full of gargoyles, harpies and winged tyrants being chased and shot by Thunderhawks, Vendettas and Valkyries
The Death Korp were probably estatic to see them. Happy Gas Mask noises, For the Emperor!!
Yes, That warrants an exterminatus. Deprive those nids of dinner! That was awesome
The absolute carnage that the dead bodies mound up til they block line of sight allowing horde armies to keep advancing
they came a lot closer than it looks. i would love to see the kill count here vs what would happen if you put those charging ones on the line. the thing that broke them was that the tyranid line was so much wider than the imperium one and they would probably have done so much more damage that way.
Don’t forget machine gun nests, if it was prepared effectively maybe it could have held even more
I think the charging units actually helped a lot, it slowed the Tyranid lines down a lot as they honestly didn't die as fast as you would think. That said a second trench line would of helped a lot, and some better protection on the flanks. The trench didn't curve around and really offer any protection on the side. Plus the Imperial troops didn't really move, not even to reinforce area's that had fallen.
That final exterminatus...*chef's kiss*
Funny thing is if the Krieg troops had a second trench they likely could of held this it was pretty close. I think the Tyrnaids only had about 100k troops left and most their Carnafexes were dead.
That, and the fact that a lot of the troops didn't have line of sight before the enemy got over the trench.
It's funny how the numbers in this battle would be actually kind of a small skirmish in 40k terms. Lol
I see it as the first wave that suddenly appeared planetside. The guard mustered what they could in such a short time (or is part of G Man's offensive thus no proper defenses)
If the guard won they would then need to fight the next million nids... that would use more complicated tactics.
What says a Kriegsmann to 23000 soldiers?
A good first wave
I think that was "light reconnaissance" detachment...
vs a scouting party of bugs
I love how, at the end, the planet gets Exterminatus. Well done, Lore friendly!
This does an amazing job putting into perspective the difference in power scale between mortal men and the custodes, considering that 3 custodes managed to kill 6 million tyranids
the trench isnt to slow the tyranids assault, its to stop their corpses piling up so high they block more targets lol. theyre just rolling in. you have to hand it to the battle simulator that you can make literal rivers of blood.
You know the Kriegsman say.
Glory for the First Man to Die!!
It’s heretical to see imperial guards without a tank for every 5 men😂
This is absolutely horrific. Because this is exactly how an assault of Tyranids would go about in 40K. And the worst part? This is "just" the first wave, prodding the defenses, testing out to see what their opposition is like.
The next wave would bring twice as many, and with more specialized units, like flyers, heavy carapace and artillery-units.
I know this is a year old but what is equally as terrifying is there is probably another trench line of kriegsman just over the hill
As long as the Desth Corps have a shovel, all is well.
Smallest Tyranid battle in lore:
And yet simultaneously some of the largest we have ever seen in a game before :p
@@ChaoticPinky you did justice withing your means! great job!
This was really cool. The sheer scale of this battle. Rivers of blood and bodies. Truly something akin to the actual stories.
4:23 reminds me of predator water i think it was maybe carnivorous but either way it tore through them like butter back when they invaded the blood angels home world that was a literal massacre
The tyranids pretty much did the same thing in that book as they did here. Filled up sections of the moat with their dead to make bridges. They even developed special bulldozer carnifexes to push biomass into the moat.
Given how much blood is being spilled, I hope khorne dont send his daemon princess to the party
Nids would prevent that with their shadow ability.
This is just 23k defenders basically wiping out over 900k space bugs!
Xenomorphs: We’re the scariest alien race.
The Flood: You’re adorable.
Tyrannids: Children, please.
This is the first 40k video that I’ve ever seen to actually capture the sheer scale of 40k.
Given the system and mods at play, there is So Much More Logistical Hell to display!
Drop pods into the horde
Genestealers flanking the line
Russes battering the line as gargoyles and flying tyrants rain hell down
As to quote a certain orphan: Please, sir. May I have some More?
Cadians 🤝 Kriegers
where the HELL is our artillery
Oh yes I remember reading this book this was a really good one. Too bad there's no capitol imperialis. Also Tarsis Ultra is a dead world now.
There is an easter egg in the first few seconds during the planet screen :)
@@ChaoticPinky Noice
One of my favorite battle simulator videos I have ever seen. It captures the horror of the 'nids so well. They just keep coming no matter how many you kill. RIP to all who died fighting for humanity.
Given the numbers I think Death Korps did pretty damn good.
Love the Carnifex's pumping their arms as they run. This is just a light jog for them.
That last Kriegsman must have been buried underneath all those nid bodies in the trench.
6:33 “Enough ‘nids have died to fill in the blood lakes!”
Khorne: 😍
Brave sacrifice to salley out and give the artillery time to rain down
A proud imperial army stands and keep fighting. The Tyranids think so: Oh dinner, yummy! Nom, nom, nom ^^.
An this dinner doesnt even atempt to run away, in fact quite the opposite :P
23k guardsmen for 500k nids ? Yeah the Empirium aproves of this ratio.
Looking at this I have one thought: BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD.
SKULLZ FOR THE SKULL THRONE!
11:30 this is extremely surprising were they buffed recently
“May the Mountains of our corpses earn a scrap of his forgiveness” - Stringstorm in their song ‘Krieg’

This is the BEST UEBS video, I've ever seen. Commented like a good old boxing match. You get my 'like', sir.
Awesome! Thank you!
"I wouldn't want to be them." Kreig: This is amazing!
This is just an Idea:
In a further UEBS2 video it would be cool if you possessed one of the shooter units so you can also shoot the enemy (tyranids)
06:57 : I wouldn't like to be in this situation...
Unless you are a true krieger.
Watching video: realizes i have low quality video on
Changes it: ooooh my god
I rewatched the video
Kriegsmen don't hold the line. T H E Y A R E T H E L I N E !
I love how, after reading the Core Book that came with Leviathan; this is pretty much exactly how battles across that entire sector are happening: repeated huge swarms of 'nids that get relentlessly gunned down by the defenders until they inevitably run out of ammo or other supplies - or the Hivemind focuses on them and evolves some bigger bioforms...
I try to keep it as lore accurate as possible given the massive restrainst of lack of units or maps :)
this concept is fantastic, i'd watch hours of episodes of massive battles. just battle after battles highlighting 40k cannon
Seeing the charging units really solidifies the purpose of the Cult of Sacrifice.
You will not survive long, and how long you do survive, you will suffer. But your comrades will live a minute longer for each second you can stall the enemy. Do not fear the horde, for you are the dam to the wide river.
Someone has to write a story about that one dude's survival of this harrowing day. Some Space Marines drop in to finish off the nids and find him under a pile of the dead, bayonet thrust through the open mouth of a carnifex...
Just seeing how many tyranids were still alive, my God, they truly are an endless swarm.
Either this game is very well optimized or your PC must be smoking like a camp fire because HOLY CRAP that is a lot of bodies on screen. The scale and slaughter being displayed is almost horrifying for both sides (I mean so many tyranids died that their corpses started forming bridges for the trenches).
"Nnnnraaaaghhh!!! We are the Tyranids! We have crossed the void between galaxies to feed on you! We canot be...is that a trench?!?! ? FUUCK!"
maaaaaan if the nids started climbing over each other like they would "IRL" this woulda been over by 2 minutes - Krieg becoming submerged under a wave of nids.
5:55 well thats gonna be timmy's new biomass pool soon
This give a nice little picture of how horrifying the tyranids would be to fight.
That part where the tyranids filled out the trench gave me some devastation of baal flashbacks
Strikingly accurate - it closely repeats one of scenes from one Krieg's books!
Does this mod have other typical Death Korps' units - like Death Riders, Bombards, Grenadiers? - those would be great to see assaulting fortified positions of heretics alongside waves of Korpsmen!!
Unfortunatly not - they are single unit mods so litraly have 1 or 2 units from a few select factions - hopefully over time more get released :D
That one guard man alive setting the nuke off 28,000 killed nearly 500,000
Someone call the Red Cross. High donations today.
Imagine if you used Nid Trygons and Raveners, Gargoyles and Hive Crones, Exocrines and Tyrannofexes, heck even Bio-Titans
There are no mods for them units sadly :(
Tyrions are lucky that the imperium is basically like Russia's style of fighting send as many as they can to die until you win or until the enemy gives up😂
That carnifex running made me laught so hard
Those Carnifexes must’ve been a special breed that were mixed with Dimachaerons
A good solution used in lore when nids fill trench traps and the bases of walls is to ignite the bodies or spray acid on them. The Tyranids will keep coming and dying and the bodies will be destroyed and unrecoverable. Also impedes Rippers from slipping into your lines.
Burning makes more sense, acid would just flow away instead of stay
Can work if you survive the initial attack, it would be hard to get close enough to do that while nids still pouring in
The cool thing is that the Death Korp is immune to the morale devastation from seeing the massive horde of Nids. They will fight 100% even when they're out numbered 10 to 1
They are not immune, there's plenty of moments in lore where even the Death Korp retreated/fled, Vraks being one of them
Them 'nids are chittering a lot of shit for a xenos that's in shovel range.
Many Kriegers died with a smile on their face this day.
that one Kriegs probably overslept that day.
And judging from the composition of the tyranid swarm here, this is just the first wave that they send at you to waste all your ammo, softening you up for the *real* attack
In "Korps" the 'p' is silent. Pronounced like saying "Core". "Corpsman" is a similar case.
Good video though
Thouse damn french...
Now, if these nidz consume the death korps and somehow mutate.... a nid with shovel is the least of the empire's problems...

The tyrannids move fast. Would be scary. Being a mere human and facing these monstrosities
I think that Guard could have won the battle if you bothered to use it properly. First of all, give them flamers, bunkers, heavy bolters and at least some tanks. Your positioning of blocks of infantry is stuck in ancient time. Guard has a mobility to fall back and fire on the move. Las cannon batteries would kill the Carnifexes, leaving rest of the troops to deal with gaunts. Where are the Marauder bombers???? Despite all, great show :)
well. if you want to be THAT pedantic, I do feel like the nids could be also used "properly" as in your description, instead of just rush head-on like zombies and not using other organisms that would be more effective in this.
you mention Marauder bombers, I mention harpies, hive crones and harridans. two can play that game! where are the gargolyes? the trygons? the mawlocks? the hive tyrants? the zoanthropes, venomthropes and maleceptors? where are the ravaners?!
yeah!
I feel like, for what it was, this was a decent representation.
