Awesome cars. I owned one for 8 years! It was a type11987 but OEM on Alpina rims. Becoming very expensive now in Europe. A mint OEM one, on 100t miles, is about $20.000 now!!!! Dutch regards, Nico.

Yeah I was trying to say they were all modular to an extent lol. Got sidetracked talking about all the different cross-compatibility and fuddled it up cuz I’m bad at presenting on camera lol.

Clean vert. Only thing I'd do is throw that ASC throttle body in the trash. Usually the ASC cars have an open diff as well. Throwing an LSD in there is mandatory if you haven't already. Never liked the vert third brake light, and it looks so much cleaner without it. Digging the center caps on the wheels as well. Creative 😎
Yeah it has a 3.73 lsd from an e28 535. I don’t actually run the asc so it’s just open. It doesn’t have much restriction lol
If you aren't using the ASC tb, get rid of it. It will free up some horses + a little bit better throttle response. I think it was 60mm compared to 64mm(manifold tb) so it's unneeded restriction :)

And what temperature sensor did you use for your electronic fan?
Need help for my E30 M52 swap because it gets a bit too hot on sunny days...
205/40/16 all around ? Did you need spacers in the front on stuck caliper did you have any problems wheels touching the front shocks ?
good eye - yes, there were spacers up front, 20mm to clear everything. in the rear it was no spacer and they sat basically flush with the qp arch

Will a 2.5l M20 oil pan from 525i work or does it have to be m50?
No they have to be an m50 front sump pan. Used to find em in junkyards like all the time, now you pretty much have to scour eBay and hope to find one for like 300$. You’ll need the dipstick tube as well and will have to modify the return breather on it
@@craigdaugherty7690 Thanks, basically if I am looking for the m50 motor, its ideal to look for one that comes with everything from an e34 m50b25(91-92)? I understand its a long shot. second best case scenario is scavenging an e34 m50 oilpan through junkyards

@@SilverZepp ive had several sets of bbs and a set of RH toplines on this car. long story short, i bent two toplines like the day after i finished redoing a bunch of stuff on the car and i was pissed so i just bought a set of reps we had in stock to throw on there temporarily and theyve just stayed on lol. kinda focused on my 84 R100RT build right now and getting a bunch done to my WRX so this isnt really getting attention at the moment
