love the comment "you need to lose your fear of making mistakes in front of people" Ain't that the truth!

That particular "fear" is extremely restricting...both physically & mentally...and has no place in music...or our lives.
My prayers to you, your family and friends...and thank you for your comment;)
      Sincerely I am...Dan ;)

Great video Brother Dan! I couldn’t agree more about being free. You just never know what might learn when you’re freelancing. You have the knack my friend. I enjoyed it.

Thank you for watching Brother Rodney;) The "Musical Freedom" that I enjoy because of "Looping" has instilled a whole new interest & exploration into this instrument that I have played for now over 50 years;)
I truly "feel" like I just have started to "learn" this instrument with a much "better understanding" as playing a "looped song" to your own "arrangement"...but a song you are "familiar" with but can't play it "exactly like the record" due to the fact that the creation of the "loop" more than likely doesn't "allow it" (in order to be a fluid "live" performance/usable & recognizable "tool" for me to use on the ears of the "Listeners") has made it "Musically Mandatory" that consider "additional and/or other musical options" within a melody that I am "familiar" with;)
"Looping" has proven to be...for me...the "best" Teacher and Band Mate I could ever know at this "stage of my Musical Life"...and this combined with the fact that I have had the extreme privilege & blessing to sit & spend valuable "Musical Time" with some of the most legendary musicians who helped "Shape & Create" the music I love dearly (Don Helms, Jerry Rivers, Chet Atkins, Owen Bradley, Jerry Reed, Rufus Thibodeaux, Buddy Harmon, Leon Rhodes, Weldon Myrick, Kayton Roberts, Hank Snow, Hank Thompson, Kitty Wells, Billy Linnemann, John Hughey, David Hungate, Tom T. Hall, Dean Hall, Leroy Van Dyke, Riders In The Sky, Patty Page and so many, many more) I now "feel" I have finally grabbed a hold of the "Musical Door Knob" and just barely "cracked" that door open...truly & unbelievably exciting to "understand" that this "Journey of Learning thru the Blessing of Music" is actually a "Lifetime"...and beyond;)
Very exciting times for this Cowboy;)
My prayers to you, your beautiful bride and family...and thank you for spending your precious time with me my Brother;)
      Sincerely I am...Dan;)

Thank you for this great video, I never thought about using two loopers what a brain storm. Good job buddy.

      Thank you Brother James;)
When I first started looping, it just made "sense" to me to get the "beat/groove" on one pedal quickly and then engage a 2nd pedal for as long as I wanted to perform a "rhythm" pattern while that 2nd pedal "captured" both the "groove" from the 1st pedal & my "rhythm" performance at the "same time" for as long as I wanted to play that "rhythm".
I had never seen anyone "loop" before...until I started "trying" to do it...and everyone I saw that was "multi-tracking" was doing it with loopers that offered additional "tracks" to record on.
These pedals had their "limitations" for my needs "Live"...in addition to the "style" of music I knew I would be performing. I just needed something "simple" but sonically "effective".
The 2 Boss RC-1's...are perfect for my needs;)
My prayers to you, your family and friends...Sincerely I am...Dan;)

I think these looping lessons should be titled lessons by Dan the One Man Band!! I love all the texture and tones you get using two loopers. Adding that wah to the loop really caught me off guard, cool! Thanks for the lesson, always up for some Tom Petty. Have a great weekend!!😀

Thank you Brother Mojo;) The "wah" adds a lil' "swampy" feel to a loop when necessary...and "sticks out" when not "over used"...just like any effect;) My prayers to you, your family and friends...Sincerely I am...Dan;)

Awesome brother! You’re a master of the loopers! But it’s one thing to master the loopers but it’s also how great you play into them. You’re a master at what and how you play too.
Your channel will build pretty quickly with the content you provide because you offer so much at a pro level. We will catch up later this week! Cheers buddy!

My old band used to play it at practices, I always enjoyed bending those notes in the solo. We were primarily a Grateful Dead cover band, do you get a lot of requests for that in the Keys?

Brother John...the Grateful Dead definitely "lives on" here in the Florida Keys.
Ironically, I had the pleasure of performing yesterday (Father's Day) for a 60th birthday party and there was a beautiful gal in attendance...the former girlfriend of a gentleman who use to perform down here (until his untimely passing in 2019) known as "Grateful Ted"...who performed many Grateful Dead songs.
She asked for a "Dead" tune...and I performed one of my favorites, "Dark Hollow"...and told the story of how a young Jerry Garcia first heard this song in California while attending a Bill Monroe concert...who had just hired a young rhythm guitarist named Del McCoury.
Bill would "feature" each of his band members...allowing them to "perform" whatever they may like to "show" the audience their particular "skill set"...the fiddle player would play a "fiddle tune"...the banjo player would pick a "banjo tune"...etc...,
On this night in 1963, one of the very 1st shows that Del was a member of Bill's "Bluegrass Boys", Del was "featured" and decided to sing the song, "Dark Hollow" for his "feature".
The song was heard by a young Jerry Garcia...who would, years later, add it to the Grateful Deads wide repetoire...and if you are like me...became a "favorite" of many;)
This story was told to me by Mr. Del McCoury himself...while we were sitting next to each other attending the funeral services for Mr. Bill Monroe at the Ryman Auditorium...which was open to the "Public" for everyone to share in the event.
I'll pick it for you sometime...a great tune;)
My prayers to you, your family and friends...Sincerely I am...Dan;)
