The original Zeus and Verus Edge are the same hardware. The scope module can be detached and connected via USB to the base unit if you want to have the monitor in a more protected area. Does the Zeus Plus have a docking station it can sit in to charge and connect to a larger remote monitor, keyboard and mouse etc.
@@Stgeorgetransmission well that would be a fail. I have a verus edge which is the same hardware as the Gen 1 zeus. I have the docking station with 40 in TV hooked via HDMI on the dock plus a keyboard and mouse.
I understand these may need $$$ yearly subscription. If so, can you run without subscription and then keep running up until the last update year or am I mixing things up.
You can use them even without updating them but youll miss out on current model years and updates that they make to the software for older vehicles. The Suretrak and ShopKey features will be disabled as well. But yes, the tool is still operational even when not updated
I understand that. if your snap-on tool is not updated constantly to the most current level that you will no longer be able to access secure gateway module functions on Chrysler, Jeep Dodge, ram vehicles, etc
Showed up in my feed in Dec 2024, still kickin and still good info
Very cool
No update on the new scope ?

The new Zeus charges from a USB-C port on the side, so I don't think that it will get a docking station. I could also be wrong.

I think autel ultra have wireless scope but way to big
You can run the VCI200 for daily use and pull out the vcmi when scoping. But I’m not much of a fan of the autel scope.
Yeah the Autel scope is massive! The only time we have used it is during lab scope training classes.
If you say ummm one more freaking time ….
