6 million per second? My Picoscope 4425 is 400million. It's still a good basic scope, it'll do enough for most things aside from ignition waveforms and in cylinder waveforms. I'm still a big fan of my Zeus and it's my default scanner AND default scope. Nice to see ethernet compatibility.

I want one! I have a D10 and love it. It needs module Topology badly.

Can you tell me why the only wireless scanner Snap On offers is the Zeus? Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't think the Tritons, Apollos, or Soluses are wireless. It's kind of big deal to have the freedom to walk around the car with an untethered scan tool.

The biggest two reasons I’ve heard is the latency in Bluetooth, (if the module takes .5 second to send the info to the scanner, it may lead you in the wrong direction for a sensor not working properly)
And with that being said, the price of a high end Bluetooth module costs a lot more than the cable!
Although being untethered is great, and I love selling the Zeus, having information from the scan tool as soon as it’s available from the vehicle is our number one priority. To do that with the Zeus costs almost as much as some competitors tools. Some customers don’t value that as much, which is why we have mostly corded tools!!
Did you know most other branded scan tools, have a cordless module because they don’t want to pay research and development to modify another vendors tablets to equip a cord? Almost every competitor out there uses an already sold tablet and convert it into a scan tool while hours is proprietary and built in San Jose, California.!

@@SnaponToolsJosephHullI don't think Bluetooth is an issue since the scan functionality is very fast on the Zeus+.
The problems I had was more often than not like copying the configuration from the old ABS module to the used one, I had to use the Launch. Zeus+ failed to do this on multiple occasions.
Second issue compared to Samsung or the iPad, the Zeus+ is a very low-end tablet for the cost. It cannot actually replace the iPad or tablet. Zeus+ will freeze just watching a few UA-cam videos.
The deal breaker is that $100 per month subscription for all functionality to work on top of the cost of the scan tool. It's not worth it and service info is a totally separate subscription. I will say if they included a year free service info, I may have kept it, but more often than not the Launch scanners actually do more than the Zeus+ for way less money.
      1. Does not do as much as Autel or Launch
      2. Hardware is ok but very low-end specs.
      3. The iPad is an one hell of a tool.
      4. The Zeus can't even keep up with a $500 laptop.
      5. For less than half the price you could get the other scan tools ultimate version with everything including J2534! Even with the Zeus even though it's Windows operating system, you cannot flash program with such a low-end device. Either way you still gone need a modern Windows laptop.
Even my old Launch $700 Diagun beats the Zeus+ and has way more capabilities, even though the Launch hardware is pure crap, it worked!

    $12,000 and no topology.

When’s the last time you bought anything at full price? I understand we all want extra features, but unless your government, I doubt anyone pays regular price for most of their tools!

@@SnaponToolsJosephHull Well I still paid about $8000 for mine. But it’s really falling behind already 2 years later sadly.
For the $120 a month I spend keeping it up to date, it’s becoming unreasonable how many times I have to grab the shops Autel etc.
Topology is pretend standard on any other brand.

@kdawson5 appreciate that! I understand frustration on the topology side of things. To be honest, this is the first I’m hearing of it being an issue!
For the age of the tool, they’re still extremely fast for the capabilities, and I’ve never heard a complaint yet for functionality!

@@SnaponToolsJosephHull Well if you don’t mind, pass on the word to Snapon Diagnostics haha. I know many techs/shops choosing tools specifically because they have topology. It’s a requirement these days. Hopefully it’s being worked on.
