Welcome back to the Earthy Goodness Kitchen! This is one of my favourite mushroom recipes and it’s super tasty and comforting. Give it a go and let me know what you think 💚 Do you have a favourite mushroom dish?
I normally hit the “don’t recommend” button multiple times a day, as lately Ive been inundated with all these recos that I dont need/desire in my algorithm. However, you re adorable and I’m intrigued, thanks, and success to you!
George ... you are a star. That's 3 from 3 and counting (pancakes next!). Really appreciate the lengths you go to to elimimate as much waste as possible. Only had white onions and forest mushrooms (dried) to hand, but this turned out superbly. Just got bought one of those Ninja 14 in 1 cookers, which I'm trying to get the hang of by Crimbo. Settings used as follows: Pinto beans (soaked as per instructions) 12 mins Hi Pressure. Could honestly have used 1-2 mins longer for my taste. Brown basmati rice, 1¾ cups of stock to 1 of rice (gives 2 large or 3 non-piggy portions). 7 mins Hi Pressure and stand for 20 before fluffing up.
Wooh! Thank you for the high praise 😁 So glad my recipes are working out for you! I try my best, sometimes this means eating leftovers that are probably way past their best 😂 Ooh how exciting! That’s amazing how quickly you can cook beans. Might have to make an early Christmas present to myself 🤔
This ecipe is full of flavour & It's so beneficial that you weigh the ingredients- it makes me feel confident & professional! Have you tried making the croutons using aquafaba instead of oil?
Thanks Denise, I was always way the ingredients for these recipes. I go freestyle when I cook for myself haha I haven’t tried with aquafaba but it should work. I think it would be best done in the oven or air fryer though.
I just subscribed to your channel. Your videos look great, and I look forward to checking the rest of them out. Cheers, George! Lindsay in Toronto, Canada.🍁
Looks delicious. I always use dried mushrooms, but I usually dump the water I rehydrate it in. But you use yours? I didn't know I could. I'll have to give this a try. It looks delicious. Love your videos.
That looks totally scrumptious! Hubby is going to the greengrocers today and I'll ask him to get a generous amount of mushrooms, so I can make this dish later on 😋 We use mushrooms a lot, they're flavourful, with a nice "meaty" texture, and they pack a good protein punch. What's not to love? 😊
Thanks so much! Oh perfect, this is one of my favourite dinners 😋 Mushrooms are amazing. So many different varieties all with different flavours and textures!

Why have I never notified that red onions aren't red but purple? 🤦♂️
Haha I guess with the skins on they kinda look red but inside definitely purple!
You're a bloody food wizard! Why aren't you the size of a house?
Thanks Carlos! Hmm good question 😂 lots of exercise 💪
They are clearly purple……ahhahah
