Mick Woodmansey a real class drummer, along with Trevor Bolder who was so underrated & then of course Mick Ronson. What a package. Brilliant.

Louise Hedditch Ageed! the spiders for some strange reason were vastly underrated..Trevor Bolder was absolute beast on bass when he let loose on width of a circle live..as were the two Micks!!

Fantastic to hear Woody speak in-depth over these recordings. Probably the best I've seen. He deserved a much better interviewer than this guy who didn't seem engaged at all, He seemed more focused on his notes on that damn paper. Luckily Woody has a giant personality and was able to carry through.

What a frank exposee of their times together. Can't see anything to criticise about. historical and one for the memoirs. Very articulate.

After watching this it really makes me wonder how different David's sound would have been over the years if the Spiders had stayed together.

It just shows when rock n rollers are humble, talented and intelligent, they can talk a lot of sense. Mick Ronson said the same thing about the number of takes. - - you just plugged the guitar in, turned the amp up and off you went. Fascinating stuff.

Thanks to Woody for his great insights and theories on the importance of the Spiders time in UK Rock n Roll. As the Last Spider standing his memories have taken on incredible significance and we need to see more of this sort of discussion. Hats off Squire.

I don't think Mr Wilcox is a trained interviewer, so I think his mannerisms and technique, are letting him down. Probably nervous as well.

Yes but he's asked decent questions. Better than someone who keeps interrupting before Woody has answered.

@@youjoker9647 agreed, don't you just hate "interviewers" who ask a "question" but don't listen and are already moving on to the next question interrupting the artist because it doesn't fit their agenda.
