Visconti's bass work on "Man Who Sold the World" is nothing but first class work from start to finish, and inspired me for years.
Let's not forget Woody's kick drum on that track!
Tony Visconti is one of the most intelligent and interesting people in the music business. I could listen to him talking about David and Marc all day! Fascinating insights.
I echo that.
@@davidcopson5800 I gate reverb that.
Ronson and Visconnti on the Man Who Solid the World , Fantastic Album
@@johnpenfold8631 Visconti plays bass. The only thing we've got in common now are dead friends. ''What, Tony Visconti writes to you''! Yes. ''That's great, but, who is he''? A milkman.
I am glad they Rocked this World.
WOODY!!!
what Woody said about David doubling a vocal track is astonishing.
It really is
The Gene Genie...when at the end of the 1st verse the bass hits the chorus one bar too early, "Get back Tony..."
Trevor Bolder played bass on that song, and Bowie definitely does not say “Tony”.
I think he says “get back on it”.
