I got ssl2+. Apparently it’s class compliant and people on UA-cam do it. When I connect to iPad Air 4, I get no response on iPad. Why ? Is there a setting ?

Well if your using an ipad you could use a bluetooth speaker i would assume. If you have monitors you will most likely need to plug the hub to the ipad and run your controller and interface through the hub. Just remember the ipad can only power so much so if something is not working just add your wall adapter to the power port on the hub.
@@JGibbs thanks for all your help on this btw! Does the Anker hub have a headphone outlet? What if I hooked up an adapter from the headphone outlet to 2 1/4 inch female adapter which would go to my speakers cables?

No settings from what I understand. Make sure you have updated your ipad to the latest version. Make sure the ipad has power going to it as well.

Yep! Also for extra power you can plug external power to the PD port of the usb c hub.

The scarlet has a headphone out put. If you get the presonus monitors they have a headphone jack as well
