I've been using the 75-300 for years. I started with it on my canon 35mm back in 2000 and when she started playing softball, I used it for sports photography and it's amazing. I have shots where the ball is on the bat. I agree, it can be slow but in 2017, I used it on my canon xti for AMA Road Racing (superbikes) at Laguna Seca where bikes were coming around a corner at 80 miles per hour and it did amazing! I'm manual focus too so I know that makes a difference. I am so glad that you had it to experience it. Knowing the game helps make the shots too. Photography is the most useful hobby because it serves more then one purpose. I'm getting ready to purchase a 90d. If I would have thought about it when my kid was playing, I would have had a laptop to show parents the images that I took and put them on a cd then and there for a flat rate getting my name out there because word doesn't travel any faster then through kids sports.

18-35 is horrible for softball, unless you doing video not good for photos. You want to get great images with the 90D I recommend 70-200mm 2.8

Thanks for the review! Could you please let me know, if it can take a load of 1.2 KG (camera + lens)? I don't do vlogs but for photography/videography. The ball head will be able to hold it tightly at any angle with that weight? If not please suggest me a sturdy ball head or like the one you bought separately.

Can this be used on a Dj mixer?

uh... the mode switch, switches between profiles... not dpi lol just that you can set each profile to a different dpi, or "speed" as you call it lol it can also have different lighting settings, button assignments, etc... lol people who arent sure what a button does, shouldnt say what it does, dude. its a profile button. say set one to saving, copying, pasting, etc for editing purposes and the other to number keys for mmo skills and the like. just two examples, not all it does. but yeah.... i knew this before ever buying the mouse. please do at least a bit of research on an item before reviewing it.
