Personal preference as a cabinet builder and installer myself, a vent hood that went to the ceiling the same color as the island. Everything looks amazing though. Good job brother

Why use Lilly Ann’s over Home Depot or Lowe’s? Are they cheaper? Do they have better quality?

Big Box stores cabinets are likely cheaper but not by much. Lily Ann's cabinets are definitely better quality and construction, well worth the extra money, in my opinion. They use actual plywood, Birch to be exact, whereas, the Big Box stores cabinets are likely particle board sides and floors.
