Happy to hear you were able to offload an ARC system so fast. I'm really rooting for Intel to pull through here, as this much needed competition will I think positively impact your business as you can then offer folks more options and at better value price points, which I guess will lead to more overhead for you too.
Yeah man, the market feels very stagnant these days. The B580 was a nice surprise. Not sure if you will be picking one up, but I'll be buying one after Christmas just to support the cause even if it sounds silly (maybe one to keep and one to sell) Appreciate the comment.
@DannyzReviews yeah it's pretty bad here too. Heck, you guys might be the better deal area in the coming months. Hopefully someone talks the leaders (I'll just say government) into rethinking the tariff's situation.
@DannyzReviews We need someone comparing the b580 and the a770 in a wide variety of games. I see some benchmarks putting the b580 upwards of 20%-30% faster while others have them trading blows
Great video. I flip PCs too and about a year ago I had my own arc a750 in my second rig (now a a770). At that point I found arc to be acceptable to start including in my builds. Ever since then I’ve sold probably 7-8 builds with arc gpus and have never had someone call me with an issue. Something that is weird that I noticed is that they sell very well, better than any Radeon rigs I had. So now I basically just buy arc and RTX cards and my customers seem happy.
I was actually waiting for a comment like this. So far I'm somewhere around that 5-6 sold ARC systems. One guy returned one because of a game that didn't work or something. I can't remember now. The other one was this young girl who complained about her monitors always turning off. I think it was fixed in drivers because I had this same issue also and it went away. I'm happy to hear that you've had a good experience with it though, and based off their new updates, I think I will be doing something similar to what you were saying. It's hard as a seller to walk away from Nvidia, but they just sell faster. AMD video card based systems have always taken a day or two longer. Sometimes more. Which is annoying considering how good value a 6700XT still is. Or was... Apparently they are going up. Appreciate the comment! It's always nice to meet other sellers.
I think it depends in the area. Of course Nvidia is number 1 but my Radeon builds have been doing well at the moment. I've sold 2 Nvidia builds and 2 Radeon builds these past two weeks. I'll probably buy a few arc cards and try them out. I feel the average day person who doesn't know gsming pcs hear intel and say "hey I know that brand" so that probably helps with selling it.
@@techwandoUS "where or which" idk if auto correct got you or not but I'll answer for both lol. My go to rigs for Radeon are usually rx 5700 xt, rx 6600 (xt, 50 xt). @@itzrelaxedgamer 100% depends on the area. I kind of decided that any build I charge more than $500 will have dedicated AI/tensor cores on the gpu. Really just because I think it is a must have feature for longevity in a build. That’s one reason I have been going with arc for my builds. I got multiple open box a580s for $140 off Newegg and made 40-50% margin on the builds I put them in. I would say they are worth it when at a good price
First off...that tip on cutting the 24-pin cable combs for the gpu cables is 🔥 definitely doing that l.. I really hope these intel cards sell well cause I would definitely like to throw them in some new builds. Great video, as always, brother, keep it up

Once the dust settles and they are on store shelves, it's definitely good value. Let's see how Nvidia comes back in the next few months. Probably will undercut them just to be top dog. That being said, Vram will always be an issue with lower tier Nvidia cards.
That is a good system for performance. I would be tempted to grab it myself, only to swap out the GPU, and air cooler for a flip with a higher return. Being sold in a single day says allot to how you pc builds are good for the buyers in your area.
It's funny you said that, first thing I told the buyer to do for upgrades was swap the cooler. I wanted to keep the budget in check. I almost never use the stock coolers. I just realized how thin they have made them over the years. It's like they shave off a couple centimeters on every new cooler. Also you're totally right about the GPU. Definitely could amp this up a bit and have a better flip.
@techwandoUS ooooooo ❤️ then I end my hunt for the Big Full day server version. If it can cut down the insane amount of time it takes the 3090FE Copper modded oced then that's plus.
