    My dad brought something up watching all this stuff.
    He said during Vietnam the news would show images and video of kids running down the road in Vietnam with their skin burned off from napalm. Public opinion quickly turned against the war.
    Fast forward to today and the news goes out of its way to sanitize these mass shootings. Well see a helicopter view of the crime scene, listen to a cop talk, show the numbers killed, ect but we never see the blood and guts.
    I'd bet that after seeing a classroom of dead kindergarteners blood, guts and bodies piled up that it wouldn't be long until things changed.
    Could you imagine the NRA president talking about his rights on the news beside a panel of dead children?

      I guess you missed the giant lesson taught in Israel on October 7th when Hamas invaded multiple Kibbutz to execute and kidnap innocent civilians and there were very few armed guards to stop it because like you Israelis thought they would be safer without guns. They developed an irrational phobia thanks to leftist propaganda. Israel is now handing out military weapons to any civilian that wants some but for many years in the past folks kept firearms on or close to themselves for this very reason. You need mental health counseling because you're afraid of or place blame on inanimate objects. Do you blame forks and spoons for obesity, or furniture legs for stubbed toes, or pens and pencils for misspelled words? Had people been armed at the soft targets that this crazed killer targeted he very likely would have been stopped very early into his rampage. Btw the NRA was integral in fighting anti-gun laws focused on preventing free black folks from defending themselves against the clan with guns. The NRA sets the firearm proficiency standards used by U.S. military and law enforcement as well, moron.

    • @kyliemiu
      @kyliemiu 9 місяців тому

      "Sandy Hook marked the end of the U.S. gun control debate. Once America decided killing children was bearable, it was over.” Nothing will change. The NRA president would say "if you arm all the teachers/staff in school, this would not have happened". It's crazy.

It's been less than 24 hour and this interviews gone up for the whole nation to see, let these people take some time to process!! One other guy, who managed to get half his kids out, said that he saw the shooters gun jam or malfunction or run out of bullets, one. And no shooting after that moment. Perhaps that is why this Mom's life was saved. I am thankful these two are safe and very sorry for all families who lost someone and who had to go through this terrifying ordeal.

    People are commenting that the girl is brave - she is but why is she in this position? Why is America ok having its children bear this life-long trauma if they’re lucky enough to survive?

    That interview shouldn't have been conducted with Her Daughter there. Mom and Her will need Therapy going Forward hopefully time will heal that moment in Time that they will never ever forget

    Worse reporter ever!. My God so inhumane , not one “I’m sorry this happened to you” or “you are so brave for sitting here speaking to me about what happened” . This lady is still crying and traumatized, while the reporter not once asked her to take a moment. Just question after question . Do a better job! This is so wrong. Poor mom and daughter 😞

    I hate stories like this, weak people taking aggressions out on unarmed people, it’s sickening. He ran and is hiding like a coward, he’s probably held up in a hole somewhere with a months supply of military rations.

    This is exploitative. The next day, and they hadn’t even gotten to talk until that morning? They can’t fully consent while they’re in so much shock. They shouldn’t have been asked to do this in the first place.

    Inappropriate to put that little girl in that position on camera. Talk with the mother, not the child. Don't make her re-live it. She's in shock.

    If I couldn't find my daughter I would have been screaming her name interesting...this mother never once said she was calling for her daughter...
    She feels guilty because she was looking out for herself, not her kid
