- Part 2 of an early 80's training video promoting Toyota vehicles in Australia. See all the old classic toyota including FJ series and the tough 60 series in different terrain throughout Australia. Throw in some hilux's as well and all those classic clothes that were worn back then and its a great watch. See part 1 here -

Bring back the 80s
Wish my 60 was new again.
Beautiful times, it cars, its music and life seems to have been very beautiful and somewhat stressfree
Back when driving was the entire job of the driver... no computer/electronic assistance.
I really like the tip for winching out in the sand. 👍
Notice how massively built the Roo bars are compared to the “damage multipliers” they put on SUVs these days?
the shorts these guys are wearing are so classic. Great videos, I have an '85 FJ60,
Wow, this has great music.
Check out Masayoshi Takanaka man
Simplest way to describe a Land Cruiser is...INVENCIEBLE!!!!
Although I was too young at the time to drive a car, I remember when the Toyota Land Cruiser looked like this.
When you travel offroad in a Land Cruiser just must bring a piece of rope and a shovel... If it were a Land Rover you should bring spare alternator, two set of wiring harnesses, one electrician, one mechanic and enough food and water for the whole personnel for three days.
And bring another Land Rover
😱😱😱😱😱😱Realy??????
@@miguelangelvalderrama1808 yep..
Under rated comment
@@mark2073 then you will have to carry many times not only the alternators, wiring harness and the food and water but also double your electrician and mechanic staff!
I learn more from 80's videos than I do from todays "tutorials".
Souch a great video! So many helpful tips and tricks!
I just love the old 40's😍😍
great informative video...everything from 80s looks great
Not allowed to... no matter who you are. Protected by aboriginal sacred site laws or something along those lines. Great videos! Thanks for sharing! Makes me appreciate my HJ47 a little more :)

Great info..thanks for posting this video
Love this video
This is a lot of great information, especially if you don't do much sand or water work. The safety aspects are great as well, I can't tell you how many idiots I have called away from a winch line under tension........
i love my 88 HJ60 !!!!
awesome
3:01 Allan from the hangover?
Enjoyed that. I have the 80 VX
And today they tell us not to drink the fuel... Goes to show.
Love the roo bars!

i need the bgm to this video
4x4xfar! 👍
You've gotta respect the native land if you want to drive on it.
💪💪💪💪💪💪💪💪💪
And the block differential????????
How about opening the bonnet when using the winch to prevent the windscreen breaking should the cable snaps under stress.
Jason Carpp dont think you can open them on a cruiser
haha get it😉
I've never owned a Land Cruiser. But I'm sure you could.
lo que nadie sabe de un toyota 4w
10:10 "Bar tread tyres..." WTF?!?!?!
Bar Grips, it's a very old style off-road tyre that is best known for being used in WWII. They were already pretty old and outdated when this video was made, but worked ok in the mud.
Snow? In Australia?
Of course
The snowfields of Australia are bigger than all of Switzerland.
Has anyone tried driving a 4wd up and over Ayers Rock (Uluru)?
Why would you want to
@Lakigarage 😎
