I bought the bench based off of this video and I skipped the beginning where you mentioned your height and did the measurements. I assembled it today and was wondering why it looks so different next to my 5'5" ass LOL I still love it though. Definitely a bang for a buck. Thanks!
Thanks so much for the review. I'm 6'2" and I am guessing the incline lengths would generally all support my head well enough, is that right? How does the bench work for you with your specific torso length? Thanks.
The rep website shows a 17.5 inch height but I noticed you stated it was 16.75 inches. Trying to figure out if it’s because you have an older pad or if the rep website is wrong. My rack has two inch hole spacing so the 3/4 inch makes a difference.
Could you pull a measurement across the width of the piece of channel that the back pad bolts to? I’m trying to mount a different pad and wanted to see if it will work. Thanks
Would you be comfortable using this bench for weighted step ups, as a base for bulgarian squats, and as a back rest for hip thrusts? I am sold on this bench for everything incline, flat, but I would also like a bench that could support my leg days at home too. If it is viable, this would save me the money of buying another piece or a flat blench for those others.
Thanks for a nice review. Do you find the seat size to be small? I am probably going to choose between this bench and the 3000. The 3100 seems billed more as a dumbbell bench due to the smaller (and especially narrower seat). Thanks again.
The seat to me feels just fine and is plenty wide ( i have a 36" waist). I like that the seat tapers towards the front, its more comfortable when in the inclined position.
That's what I noticed and in my opinion benches should go from -10 or -20 decline, flat, and 10 degree increments to about 70 or 80 degree's and there is NO need for 90 degrees. Jumping from flat to 20 or 30 which this bench looks like is too much incline.
Could you show yourself doing bench press on this bench please, because I'm 175 cm tall (5.9 in) and I think comfortable length for me is 54", but your bench is 48" long and you're much taller than me, so I wonder if it's really long enough. I'd like to see your head and (excuse me) butt position. A photo or short video with same view would be just great. Thank you.
I would not purchase this bench. While it looks sturdy enough, the lowest incline setting is still much higher than I prefer. I think people tend to overdo the incline position, but I prefer just a small angle, and this machine doesn't come close to it. The width of 12 inches is too small. Most people will want something closer to 18 inches in width and 52 inches in length. Also, the highest setting for (essentially) the seat is not high enough. It's neither a good flat bench nor a good incline bench. For $120 you can get a solid flat bench, with better padding measurements and no gap. If you insist on using incline, get one that increments very gradually and which will give you seating support (basically an L-position) at almost any angle.
It's worthless for decline because you will simply slide down. And the lowest incline setting is too high. You might as well just get a good flat bench, which should cost less and be more stable and have no gap.
I wipe mine after each use. The bench does have a smooth/shiny spot were my head sits, it doesn't go away even with a spray cleaner. I believe all benches with this type of vinyl will show some kind of staining.
www.repfitness.com/rep-ab-3100-fi-bench Good luck been trying to get this bench since March. Between Covid-19 and Rep Fitness lack of communication it's been quite the challenge.

I was wondering why tf that bench looked so small.. its cause hes 6’7 lol
Awesome review! I'm 6'5'' and was just going to get another Bowflex. Definitely going to check these out.
Thanks for the review, very helpful.
Thorough review just ordered
Great review, ordering one.
No wobble at all?? I think I'm gonna get this and save my money. I was thinking of getting the 5100 but this one seems plenty.
the seat should raise higher, to keep you from sliding when the back is at the setting at 3:40.
How is it as an actual flat bench? Does the gap get in the way of butt placement for traditional flat bench?
Great review. Do you think the AB5200 is worth the additional money?
Thanks so much for the review. I'm 6'2" and I am guessing the incline lengths would generally all support my head well enough, is that right? How does the bench work for you with your specific torso length? Thanks.
My head is on the bench just fine. There should be no issue with your torso length, unless you are really disproportionate.
Good job Mike. Great review.

Now they say 17" height and full 90 degree incline. Who knows what will actually ship out.
un favor de cuanto es el tubo de fierro que ha usado para construir ese banco, y cuantos kilos soporta aprox., gracias

Thanks for the response, ML.
To confirm this is NOT the FID version that's priced at $305 on various sites, including AMAZON...
This does not do decline
Would you recommend this for heavy benching? Like (100-140 kg)
That should be no problem with that weight. Mine has done fine with over 400 lbs( not me, but my cousin). He had no issues with the bench.
@@mikelikes6561 okay thank you!
Hi, Mike! can you tell me how much width the iron is used ??
question: how much pump will this help me achieve?
Max pump!
Wow, it's lowest incline setting is pretty high

People using these high ass incline settings in their apartments aren't lifting any real weight or hitting all of the upper chest.
do you missing the decline function? is this bench good over rep ab-3000 fid
No, no decline, and no roller pads to lock your legs, also it's shorter than the ab3000 fid
Thanks for the review, Mike. Still happy with it?
yes, I am still very satisfied with it. I actually just used it about 10 min ago. It looks and functions just like it did out of the box.
@@mikelikes6561 Thanks for the prompt reply, Mike! Glad you're still happy because mine is on its way.
Does it stand up when storing it?
I’ve been checking their website religiously lol. They’re still it out of stock
Have you figured out the weight capacity of the incline adjustments?
Mike, how wide are the legs with the wheels?

It's what I am looking for, a 52-54" long bench. But can't find one online.

Did the $220 you stated include shipping?
Yes thats how much it was with shipping. Ordered one myself
Can't figure out why people are so big on this limited features bench.
Wait what was the price
If I forget to wipe will this bench stain easily?
I wipe mine after each use. The bench does have a smooth/shiny spot were my head sits, it doesn't go away even with a spray cleaner. I believe all benches with this type of vinyl will show some kind of staining.
Before corona virus

They currently have the metallic black Ab 3100 in stock. Better get one quick I'd you want one.
What color is this? Black or metallic Black?
This is the basic black
@@mikelikes6561 Thanks man. Great video by the way
